Five Looks For Your Autumn Bouquet

Fashion & Jewellery, Inspiration

If you’ve planned to get married during the autumn season, well you’re either very close to walking up the aisle or you’re in full on planning mode for next year! We adore this crisp season. The leaves start to change, the air gets cooler and the evenings shorter and cosier, all before the really dark nights of winter hit. The harvest season is a great time to tie the knot and no better time to go all out on your wedding flowers. Today we’ve five different looks to share with you, whether you’re a traditional bride or not. From deep marsala to quirky wheat bouquets, we’ve got it covered without a burnt orange bouquet in sight!

Magical Marsala

If you didn’t catch it before, marsala is Pantone’s colour of the year for 2015. Whilst this year it is everywhere in fashion and homewares, we think this strong accent shade will still be high up the lush list of wedding colours for next year too. Pair with pretty pinks for a romantic look and edgy deep green for a dramatic style.

Berry Berry Good

Autumn is the season of harvest after all so adding not only florals but fruit, berries and foliage from this time of year is a great way of adding a different dimension to your bridal flower look. We love just picked from the hedgerow blackberries, or ripe decadent figs. Think outside of the box for this bountiful season!

Hello Hydrangea

The summer months will see bouquets teaming with white and off white heads of hydrangea. We love to see the deeper colours come out to play in autumn. From vivid green to popping blue, deep purple and rich pinks, this flower makes a fabulous bouquet all by itself or teamed with complementing blooms.

Stunning Sunflowers

Sunflowers will always make us smile, they just seem to have that effect! Although they grow best during the month of August, you can expect availability right throughout September if you’ve got your heart set on these smiley blooms.

The Wonder of Wheat

If you fancy going for something completely different, how does a bouquet made entirely from wheat sound for your harvest flowers? Too much? Don’t worry just add a little for lots of autumnal flair.
