Israeli designer, Idan Cohen recently blew everyone away with the launch of his FW 2018 collection at New York Bridal Week. The runway show delivered all that is dreamy and Glam for 2018!
Flowetry in motion, genteel and breezy with a subtle hint of sparkle best describes the looks seen on the runway this season as he presented his F/W 2018 ‘Empire Of Love’ (couture) and ‘GLAM by Idan Cohen’ (diffusion) collections.
The gowns that graced the runway showed illustrious French lace, Italian crepe, satin and tulle creations that were touched ever so gently with intricate 3-D and hand embroidered details. Hand beaded flowers, crystals, dramatic trains, sweeping skirts and capes, mermaid silhouettes and Queen Anne collars gracefully swept the catwalk at the Plaza Hotel in New York City showcasing the designers homage to empiric beauty and the art of ‘glam’.
The collection took the audience on a journey from romance to glam with a dreamy yet sensual array of deep V’s, cut-aways, intricate 3-D embroidery, slits, fringe, capes, low cut backs, ruching, off the shoulder draping, shawling and asymmetrically shoulder cut bodices and detachable skirts and sleeves.
