Originally from New Dehli, India, Sreeja and her husband, Paul now live in Dublin. Keen to keep their wedding local, they chose the beautiful setting of The Westin Hotel for both their ceremony and reception. The beautiful day was captured by Kyrstin Healy Photography. Sreeja and Paul first met through mutual friends in July 2010. Physicist Paul knew pretty early on that it was the real deal but as he says, it took him a while to convince Sreeja! But convince her he did and on their second anniversary, as they were decked out in their finery and about to head out for dinner, they began to slow dance to music, Paul sat Sreeja down, got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife.
The couple were married in the Florin and Guinea Room of The Westin Hotel on August 1st, this year. Sreeja wore a traditional style bespoke gown made from fabric chosen in India, whilst Paul’s tie was custom made from the same fabric. He paired this with a grey three piece suit from Baumler on Dawson Street, cufflinks and shirt, which were gifts from India.
The day was a joyous occasion with their closest family and friends in attendance, the weather was perfect so they headed to the grounds of Trinity College for pretty portrait photographs.

“The reception was great fun, everyone danced and had a really great time!” says Paul.
Pauls advice for other couples who are currently planning their wedding day is simple; “It will always cost more than you think!”
