Feminine Floral Wedding Cakes

Inspiration

Florals are always a popular choice for spring weddings, but this year florals are massive news and can be found everywhere, from pretty floral prints on your bridesmaids’ gowns, to bigger than ever floral crowns perched on top of your locks. And that’s before you even start on your floral displays, which this season should be over the top, draped over everything and extremely lush! Because we’ve got a soft spot for all things sweet in the Mrs2Be office, we’ve been having a look at some floral wedding cakes this morning. Read on for a pretty mid-week morning pick me up!

Arranging pretty blooms between each tier is an impressive way to dress up an otherwise plain cake. Make sure your venue has a good selection of cake stands – a good (or bad) cake stand can really change the appearance of your cake!

Keeping your cake pretty simple and dressing with faux, real or sugar crafted flowers always works! Bonus points for a stunning colour scheme such as this grey and coral palette.

Handpainted cakes with a watercolour effect are amazing. Add a few real flowers and you will bring it to a whole new level!
