We love a bride with a classic look, which is exactly what today’s bride Tracy wanted for her special day to Peter.
Dublin based photographer Daniel from DK Photo was on hand to capture the magic of this family celebration at St. Annes, Bohernabreena followed by their reception at The Station House Hotel, Kilmessan.
Tracy and Peter first met 16 years ago when they worked together. Following their engagement during a sailing holiday in Corfu the couple began planning their dream wedding day.
We researched a lot on the internet and used an Irish online wedding planner called Moposa. We also took each part of the arrangements separately, one thing at a time to make sure it met our needs and we were happy with the service and price.
Tracy found her perfect wedding dress in Ciara Bridal in Powerscourt Townhouse Centre.
I liked the idea of an Audrey Hepburn type dress to compliment the romantic old world style of our venue. I tried the dress on and I knew it was the one. I had a deposit on another dress in another boutique, I lost the deposit but it was worth it. Go with your intuition it will be worth it!
The couple’s wedding day was everything they imagined.
The weather was great, it all went perfectly, the staff at the Station House were excellent and looked after everything for us. It really was a perfect day. We couldn’t have had a better experience.
Advice for other couples
We knew the band, but I would recommend going to see any potential band you are looking to hire. To see a performance is very important, rather than finding out on the day your wedding band is a death metal group on speed!
