We never tire of looking at pretty wedding decor and one spot that was often forgotten or overlooked in the past is the chairs. But we’re glad to say wedding chair decor is having a bit of a moment as stylish couples and creative event stylists go all out and bring some fun, romance and a whole lot of personality to the happy couple’s chairs with some artfully placed flowers, props and fabric!
Most venues will come with either chiavari chairs or simple chair covers and while these are perfect for the guests, it can be nice to make a bit of a statement with you and the new hubby or wife’s chairs. There are lots of stunning ways to spruce up your chairs and ensure they stand out with everything from draped sashes and handmade signs, to floral wreaths and garlands, beautiful big romantic bows and for couples looking to give guests a laugh and bring an extra personal touch to their reception space – some childhood snaps propped on the back of the chairs. Some of the below will work for both your ceremony and reception so if you are looking to create a bit of a statement piece for your venue or pretty up your ceremony chairs, you’ll find some FAB inspo below!
