Part daring, part romantic, and always unique, wedding dresses at Rembo Styling are truly representative of the fashion-forward thinking going on in contemporary bridal design today. The creatives that sit in the house of Rembo Styling aren’t afraid to experiment with what we know as ‘wedding fashion’ and so far their results have not only impressed style-conscious brides all over the world, but have influenced what many others think about wedding fashion itself. Rembo’s philosophy is that ‘bridal’ should not be thought of as a staid concept, but that it is flexible, reflective and ever changing – in their own words it is “fully fledged fashion”.

Rembo’s success hinges on the ability to consistently surprise with more unusual, more unique styles every season, all the while adhering to the needs of their customer, whom they describe as “a dynamic, fashion conscious young woman who knows what she wants”. For 2015, the design house has delivered yet another inspiring collection of romantic ready-to-wear bridal gowns destined for the most stylish aisles around. Delicate laces abound, and the focal point of more than a few gowns is the back, which is decorated with playful motifs (see Margot and Colombe’s pretty lace bird motif backs), fabulous frills (on Hermes) and many more experimental embellishments such as jewel buttons and distinctive fasteners.

Five separate collections headed by individual designers comprise the House of Rembo Styling and each offer a different take on the top trends for 2015. Les Flous Chics by Amarildine primarily plays on the deep v-neck – a daring trend made modest with the use of transparent layers and elegant embellishments. Jersey material gives each of these gowns their movement, delivering an effortlessly chic feel and a ‘nonchalantness’ to the entire collection.

Manon’s La Folie Douce is a celebration of lace and showcases a myriad of ways lace can become a feature. Soft tulle skirts make this collection an ideal one for summer or destination brides – we especially like Yaelle for a beach celebration. Our favourite of all the collections, Secret Passion by Ruth D, is unabashedly romantic and combines materials in a variety of ways to create light and airy A-line gowns that not only look heavenly (we love Joya), but are designed with the ultimate comfort in mind.
