Autumn is a gorgeous time to tie the knot with lots of ways to create a romantic, cosy and homely feel. When it comes to decorating your reception space, nature is the perfect place for some inspo. Pine cones, leaves and trees will create a charming autumn vibe while fabrics like twine and burlap will add that rustic touch! Check out some autumn wedding decor ideas we’re loving below…
Leaves Galore
Autumn is a magical time of year – the temperature has dropped and the streets are covered with gorgeous golden brown leaves. This makes them the perfect detail to incorporate in to an autumn celebration! You could start things off by throwing leaves instead of confetti, pop them on signs, use leaf shaped place cards and scatter leaves or leaf shaped confetti on your tables. You could also make up some cute leaves that people could sign as an alternative guest book!

Start Collecting Pretty Pine Cones
Pine cones are a really cheap and pretty addition to weddings. They’re also perfect for adding some autumn charm! You can start collecting them from your local park or forest and can pop some on tables to spruce up your centrepieces, use them to display table names, place names or escort cards or even dot them around your wedding cake.

Use Rustic Fabrics like Burlap
Autumn is the perfect time of year to try out a rustic theme. Earthy colours like orange and brown make an appearance at this time of year so why not incorporate some burlap to play on this. This rustic fabric can be used in so many ways – as a table runner, wrapped around mason jars or make bows out of it to decorate your seats. It’s also a great base for bunting and signs!

Twine Can Come in Handy
Twine is another gorgeous rustic detail that works a treat at this time of year. Use it to make some pretty bows, wrap it around masons jars and bottles as part of a tablescape or use it to tie menus, favours or just about anything else together.

Add in Wooden Touches
Keeping with that rustic theme, wood is a great addition to an autumn bash. Wooden tree slices are perfect for showcasing cakes on your dessert table, popping flowers and props on as part of your centrepieces or can even be used as a guest book. We’re also loving the beautiful log detail below – it makes a fab table runner and brings oodles of rustic charm. And why not engrave it for that personal touch!

Include Cute Nature Inspired Motifs
Trees, leaves and even love birds are the perfect autumn motifs! So if you’re looking to illustrate or add in some cute details as a nod to your Fall wedding, any of these will work perfectly. Use a tree print as a guest book, have little leaves dotted around your invites and menus or have some cute love birds on top of your wedding cake as a fun topper.
