I was at a wedding last weekend and the bride, my seriously fashionable friend, wore a floral embroidered dress and it was seriously stunning for a spring wedding day – like unbelievably beautiful. Inspired by her pretty choice I’ve been having a look at other brides who have added a little touch of fun and colour to their wedding day gown.
Florals for spring are not a new thing, of course the season of newness is renowned for florals but if you’re tempted to go a little left-field for your gown, how about glorious floral embroidery? Some brides love the idea of florals but keep it for their veil, meaning they can remove it after the ceremony, whilst some brides are choosing floral embellishments for their bridesmaids dresses, which is also a gorgeous look.
We would urge you to choose a gown that makes your heart sing, the one you can’t leave behind – whether it has florals or not (do give them a try at least!).
