‘Blossom trees are a popular choice for summer couples, they are pretty, romantic and make an impact,’ Tara, Dream Weddings & Events
‘As weddings have changed from the norm, we are focusing on more intimate displays. A carefully arranged display of candles and flowers looks amazing in any setting,’ Judi Roche, Balla Florists.
‘Our summer theming focuses a lot around Cherry Blossom centrepieces – this is a beautiful soft look which we add log slices at the base, hanging tealights, sequin table runners and greenery wreaths. We also try to do a lot of outdoor ceremonies (will be especially a factor this summer we are predicting). Also soft drapes are a big part of our summer weddings. Couples generally lean towards an open drape to allow light in but to still soften the tone of the room – light pink tones and amber lighting would be the main colours we would see in lighting preferences and often some textured or coloured drapes to accompany the main draping,’ Sarah, We’ve Got It Covered.
‘Our concept for summer styling is to take the reception celebrations outdoors. Have your garden style dinner reception outside, focusing on bright colours. Or, for alternative summer weddings – style your wedding with a luxury picnic. Alternative options for a more laid back wedding, using grazing boards for your canapés followed by buffet style catering,’ Laura, Wild Feather Event Styling.
