I dont know if any of ye guys remember, i had to bring lucy to the optamoligist yesterday well, consultant is sick and it was cancelled till 15th March O:| And today she was to get her hips xrayed and I went to collect her referal letter from gp, and he said he wanted to check her himself so he did and he said there is absoultly nothing wrong with her hips and im not to worry myself. The nurse said there might be as the little rolls of fat didnt exactly meet, but he said that her legs were equal in lenght and she is not in any pain and her 4 month xray came back clear so he said she didnt have to get another one so that was some good news anyway. :o)ll :o)ll So alls good so far hopefully her eyes will be ok too, in saying that i went for my eye test today and i got glasses, im a tiny bit short sigted, but my goodness there is groovey new ones now, so i got two fab pairs for the price of one :wv :wv

Aw that is brilliant! A doc told my mother I had "inverted hips" when I was a kid - I've since had them checked out by orthopoedic surgeons and physios and it turns out they're actually perfect! Doctors differ and patients get unnecessarily worried I think.

Thats such a relief for you (and Lucy, of course) baby cakes! Was it a phn that said it to you by any chance? My phn sent us back to the hospital as she said Feidhlim's "moro reflex" wasn't quite right (thats the one where babs is dropped a short distance and the arms fly out). I had an appointment with the nurse at my gp after the phn came, and when I said it to her she laughed :o0. I got the impression that phn has a thing about the moro reflex! He was absolutely fine, according to the doctor in the Rotunda. I think phn's can be a little over-cautious to be honest, but still, its better to go to the specialists and have it be nothing than for it to be missed now and turn into a major problem later in their little lives.
