Parking for half marathon on saturday

Can anyone help? A friend of mine from the North is doing the Half marathon on saturday which starts in the Phoenix park. Any ideeas where she can park? I dont live in Dublin anymore so cant really help her!

There is usually race parking in Castleknock College, tell your friend to check the website for the race to make sure though.

Thanks - she has checked and apparently they are not using the college this year which is why she is looking for somewhere else to park.

if you tell your friend to come off M50 at blanchardstown exit and head towards town and at first roundabout swing right and drive straight through little roundabout and when she gets to t-junction she can dump the car wherever there is parking free at the side of the road - i dunno the names of the road but its by castleknock village on the way to the park.

DH is doing it too and is parking in the halfway house pub, directly across from the side gate of the park on the navan road.
