Share your wedding bargains!

Hi all, getting this thread going again to share our wedding finds...every cent counts! I got bridesmaid dresses in Debenhams sale for 70% off- they have regular sales so defo worth keeping an eye out! I still have plenty to organise before June (eeek !!!) so would love to hear bargains on wedding rings, flowers, and cake. Rings I have looked at for myself and like seem to be in the region of E1500...and I cant afford the expensive taste! Is it possible to get a cake for E200 for 100 guests???? Looking forward to hearing everyones bargain finds!!

I heard of a jewellery shop in Limerick, Topaz jewellery that are doing reasonable prices on rings. Marks and Spencer do wedding cakes that you can build. They look good.

Great idea for a thread. We are getting our wedding rings made by Michael Horan. He is based in Offally and is giving us a great price. I'm getting a 18ct white gold band with diamonds and shaped to fit with my engagement ring for just under €800. He's so nice to deal with too.

O'Flynn Jewellers in Nenagh is supposed to be really good for rings could really do with band, cake and invitations inspiration

I would also recommend Topaz in Limerick for wedding rings. I got mine made there to fit my engagement ring with diamonds on 1 side of it and it was very reasonable. For BM dresses I found www.dresselicious.com brilliant, the dresses were fabulous and very reasonably priced.

A mixture of bargains and approach. We had two bridesmaids & two groomsmen (instantly saving on two extra people to dress etc). Bridesmaid dresses I bought in Debenhams on sale (65 euro each). The dresses were full length, so the girls used their own shoes (who really sees the shoes if the dresses are full length? Used a venue with no corkage charge. Instant savings! We ordered our Prosecco from Dunnes, when the did their special offer (33% off deal) keep an eye on these. We ordered our wine from Aldi- , they took the order and it was all there the following week for us to pick up. Didn't have wedding car- it wasn't important to us but for some it is. Instant savings!!
