Does anyone know where I can get nice, artificial flowers online and at a decent rate? I'm looking for kind of wild looking flowers like hydrangeas and things like that. I don't need a huge pile or anything - I'm just looking for some to jazz up the marquee a little bit as I want to avoid spending too much on flowers. I'm having lantern centrepieces but think a few bits of floral decoration would be lovely. It's hard to know without a recommendation though if flowers look nice and not plastic-y as pix can be deceptive. Any help appreciated!

Hi there oileanbride,
I might be able to help you regarding your need to find silk/fake flowers. I hand make clay flowers, in many different colours. I know when you first read this you will think that the "clay flowers" will be too heavy, this is not the case, they actually very light weight and as they are air dried are very durable.
Here is a small selection of what I have created with them so far...

At Present I am working on a small poise with roses and Hydrangea's and I can PM you with this image when completed.
All that is lacking with these flowers is the perfume of natural flowers!

i'm using foam flowers with some real flowers dipersed throughout my bouquet & by BM's bouquets. Look so real its actually scary. Am gettin them from Central Flower Supplies (i think thats the name) on the airport road in Cork. My entire bouquet with cos 32e - bargain & way more realistic looking than silk flowers IMO
