Gareth is an absolute dream addition to any ceremony! We booked him for our wedding in October 2025 at Darver Castle, and from our first meeting to the wedding day, he was incredibly professional. After getting engaged we chose The Glenside as our venue for our wedding. We decided it would take place 20 September 2025. The proprietor Karen who we met with had wonderful things to say about Gareth Matthews from ‘Always and Forever’. We made contact with him and had a zoom meeting. He was free on the wedding date that we chose, and after having the chats and banter with him, we knew he was the Celebrant for us. €100.00 deposit sealed the deal and we paid the remainder 2 weeks before the wedding.

Gareth gave us a heartfelt relaxed ceremony with love laughter and happiness and involved our guests.

His app was brilliantly laid out and easy to follow for choosing readings, vows, music, etc

From the preparation calls before the wedding, explaining what we needed to do (green folder, I wouldn’t have had a clue!) to running us through all the ceremony enhancements we could have and more. We contacted Gareth when we decided to get married as we had seen him do a friends wedding and we thought he was fantastic lucky for us he was free to marry us on July 12th this year. Gareth was incredible. He made our ceremony so special. We have been to a lot of weddings as guests where the ceremony feels like legal jargon all parties are just trying to 'get through'. It could not have been more different with Gareth. So many of our guests were saying they wished they had used Gareth for theirs, or asking for his contact details to use for their weddings in the future. He made the ceremony entertaining, funny, emotional and the perfect length. We really didn't expect to be so amazed, but Gareth really is incredible.

We got married on Feb 29th this year and from the very first phone call with him, we knew he had to be the one to marry us. Well alot, our recent Wedding on a wet post Christmas day in the sleepy hollow of Slane, in the quaint but charming conyngham Arms was simply the best day of our lives.
