STOP searching for wedding DJs! Mike and Bernie are the best!!
We had a destination micro-wedding, approx. 25 people, but that didn't stop us from dancing the night away, thanks to Mike and his wife.
Planning this wedding from afar was challenging, but Mike was very professional and responsive. His whole setup is fantastic, with the disco lights and the screen for a picture slideshow and music videos. They were even flexible enough to agree to keep the party going longer than we had originally planned.
We're from the states and have a lot of New Orleans and Mexican culture, and he was able to play everything from New Orleans Bounce to Reggaeton to Tejano to our pop punk favorites. We even got to celebrate Irish style and Rock the Boat.
We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Thank you so much for being another piece that contributed to our perfect day!

Mike is amazing!! He and his wife work together and came on time, set up with no fuss and started playing amazing music right from the start. All ages loved the music so much and everyone was dancing immediately from the first song.
It meant that his wife could come and tell us when things were happening which was brilliant.
We had no band and no one missed one at all. Before the wedding my mum said she might miss live music but then was raving about Mike at the end and saying it's better than most wedding bands she has heard.
Mike responded to any query instantly with lots of information, was very professional and incredible value for money.
We honestly could not recommend Mike enough and one of my engaged cousins is now looking to book him!
To top all of that off they are such happy people, as a couple and when working. They were genuinely happy for us and I would hire them again for any event in the future.

I would definitely recommend AM sounds to anyway. Mike and his wife were amazing, so easy going, flexible and reliable. They were in contact with us early before the wedding. We had a list of requests from our guests and they were so accommodating. They came early, same time as the band and were quickly ready after the band finished. The playlist was great and the dance floor was never empty. They did all the classics too, rock the boat etc. would definitely recommend

Mike was extremely helpful in everyway. Booking was straight forward. Nothing was an issue. On the night Mike set up at the same time as our band and showed a slideshow for us during the band playing time. This was such a nice touch. Games and music was brilliant, we didn't have to give any guidance, Mike was able to read the room and work with it to ensure a full dancefloor all night long. I would highly recommend Mike to any future couples, I just wish we could do it all over again.

Mike was excellent to deal with! He was the clear stand-out from several DJs we contacted - responded quickly, great pricing & got our names right (small, but important detail). He played a number of songs we requested, but was also able to read the room and play things he knew would get people up and dancing. Mike and his wife are the sweetest.
They set up the music and lights and it was nothing as we imagined. It was absolutely incredible.

Dj Mike was amazing... we were a mix group of different genres from Croatian, Latin to party and Metal music and Dj Mike accommodated all. We were wery happy with his choise of music for the whole night. Also he made all wedding party dance the whole night and made a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!!!

AM Sounds djs were unbelievable good, music was excellent from start to finish, they were able interact with guests without been in your face. We had our wedding in raheen house on 29.07.2023 and I have been a alot of wedding but this was the first wedding I was at that I literally didn't leave the dance floor all night and I was the bride. The floor was full for the entire night. I couldn't recommend this dj more highly. If you want a party and everyone to enjoy themselves well if you don't hire these two your missing out on the best party of your life. These two are complete professional and were so easy and nice to deal with. Thank you so much AM Sounds Dj for making our wedding so much fun.

We recently had AM Sounds as DJ for our wedding. From the minute I booked them, nothing was too much trouble. I loved how we got an email a few weeks before the date asking what genre of music we liked, and they did not disappoint. They had everyone up dancing until the early hours. It was absolutely brilliant. We felt like we were back in our youth with the 80s 90s dance/rock tunes that Mike played.

Mike and his lovely wife provided the music and entertainment at our wedding reception and were absolutely fantastic. Communication was great beforehand and Mike asked for any genre/ specific songs etc that we would like. We wanted to have karaoke prior to the disco and Mike hosted this with ease and all our guests absolutely loved it. We gave a Spotify playlist prior to the event and, on the night, Mike played the songs we loved alongside some other classics which got everyone up on the dance floor. They checked before playing anything that wasn't on our list which we really appreciated. Overall, very professional and we are really grateful.

Mike and his lovely wife were the dj at our wedding last week. They were amazing and even though we had a relatively small wedding he managed to get everyone on the dance floor. We especially liked the Irish dance competition and rock the boat. Mike was really accommodating and played the songs as requested. Would definitely recommend him to any wedding couple!

We booked Mike as our DJ for our wedding and we could not recommend him more. From the initial booking stage he was extremely responsive and nothing was too much hassle. Mike and Bernie were the DJ's for our Wedding! We were having a more casual Wedding Party vibe and did they deliver! I mistimed my day a little bit so needed them to start a bit earlier which was no hassle at all and they were more than willing to do! I am so grateful for that! They were very punctual which really worked out for me in the end! I arranged a bit of a setlist with Mike in advance and he was happy to play whatever music we wanted, which was primarily 2000's rock and not your typical wedding soundtrack! We had a good mix of music to suit our guests and everyone was on the dance floor at some point or another! I also shopped around for my DJ and Am Sounds definitely gave the most bang for your buck! I would have no hesitation in recommending Mike and Bernie to anyone! We were on the dance floor for the whole night, thank you again for making our wedding so memorable!

Mike was the DJ at our wedding on the 30th Sept 2022. With his partner Bernie .
I literally hired Mike only 3-4wks out from my wedding via a friend (a favour). I rang Mike to confirm he was available and he essentially did the rest( and he never heard from me).
He knew my fianc?e (wife now ) lived a aboard and I worked aboard and he accommodated us.
Firstly , he gave me guidance on my wedding as a whole with his experience and luckily he did a lot of work at The Dunloe Hotel where we got married.
He was so insightful!! Gave me great advice and tips.
He knew the age group at my wedding as he knew majority of people who attended our wedding (Tralee Rugby Club Wedding).
We shared playlists on Spotify with him, even us sending him random songs we liked .
From that Mike developed an overall playlist and since we had decided we didn't want a band Mike really did cater for the older generation at the wedding. He had my Mum and all my Aunts and Uncle our dancing . He was very tactically how he did it ha..
My wife is from Suriname and India decent so Mike even play and mixed in piles of Bollywood songs . I didn't even notice and my wife had everyone out dancing to her cultural songs . She was over the moon - it meant a lot to her and her family (they would not be used to an Irish wedding).
To be fair to Mike he had people out dancing that don't dance. Dance offs just absolutely great craic .
Bernie would be out doing the rounds as well getting people out to dancing , she was brilliant .
The both of them made the wedding!
I genuinely mean it, my Wife and I did nothing! We chatted to Mike for barely 5mins the Wednesday before we got married. We did nothing else ?
From chatting to us, sharing playlist , telling him various songs and artists we liked (my wife and I have totally different tastes as well) . Mike also knows the age group at my wedding, people attending it is like be built a ?profile?.
(A profiler like in the FBI ha..)
Without doubt I?d give Mike a 10 out of 10.
My only issue is he would not allow me to have a sandwich or anything made for them as they had a late night.

From that Mike developed an overall playlist and since we had decided we didn't want a band Mike really did cater for the older generation at the wedding. He had my Mum and all my Aunts and Uncle our dancing . He was very tactically how he did it ha..
My wife is from Suriname and India decent so Mike even play and mixed in piles of Bollywood songs . I didn't even notice and my wife had everyone out dancing to her cultural songs . She was over the moon - it meant a lot to her and her family (they would not be used to an Irish wedding).
To be fair to Mike he had people out dancing that don't dance. Dance offs just absolutely great craic .
Bernie would be out doing the rounds as well getting people out to dancing , she was brilliant .
The both of them made the wedding!
I genuinely mean it, my Wife and I did nothing! We chatted to Mike for barely 5mins the Wednesday before we got married. We did nothing else ?
From chatting to us, sharing playlist , telling him various songs and artists we liked (my wife and I have totally different tastes as well) . Mike also knows the age group at my wedding, people attending it is like be built a ?profile?.
(A profiler like in the FBI ha..)
Without doubt I?d give Mike a 10 out of 10.
My only issue is he would not allow me to have a sandwich or anything made for them as they had a late night.
He is a gentleman and a pleasure to deal with.

Cannot say enough good things about Mike, he was absolutely fantastic on the day. The dancefloor was full from the first dance right through to the end of the night. Music played was perfect, Mike definitely looked at the information provided beforehand and built the music around the night to this. Mike was fantastic to deal with. Before the wedding he asked for guidance on genres on music and what we wanted and didn't want. He made that whole process really easy. He set up as the band was setting up so he was ready to go as they finished. The band had kept our guests dancing all evening, it was a very hot night but when Mike started, it was one classic tune after another. Guests were wrecked, went to leave the dance floor but another tune would come on and they couldn't not dance to it. Great end to our great day

Fantastic DJ for our wedding. The large screen really enhanced the night as we displayed pictures of ourselves from younger days beforehand which was a great talking point at each table. Our experience with Mike was amazing! We traveled to Ireland from the US for our wedding. Mike came very heavily referred from our wedding planner and for good reason.
We had a small group at our reception - about 25 people and Mike managed to keep everyone dancing and having a great time for the entirety of the party.

We first meet Mike back in 2019 after getting engaged at a wedding fair in Killarney and he was just so lovely and helpful we booked him straight away! We booked Mike for our New Years Eve wedding and he did not disappoint. He was absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure our guests had a fantastic time. He set up everything before the meal so that we could use his two projector screens to showcase messages from our friends and family across the world that couldn't make it. My husband and I where so happy with AM Sound. From the first meeting to our wedding party they where very professional and easy to talk to. They listened to what we wanted specifically for our day and you could tell they put a lot of thought into what we loved to listen and dance to. I would highly recommend AM Sounds. We hired AM Sounds for our wedding in the Castlerosse Hotel in Killarney. When we meet Mike and Bernie in the INEC they could not have been more helpful and pleasant to deal with. Mike was a fantastic DJ and we are so glad we chose him for our wedding. So easy to deal with, very responsive to emails, played exactly what we wanted as well as adding in a few surprises which were floor fillers and great fun! We got so many compliments about the music. I would highly recommend him to anyone - the floor was full all night, highly efficient- everything was set up promptly and this allowed for a streamlined transition between Band and DJ. Thanks again for making it such a memorable night!

Highly recommend AM Sounds they played for our wedding and were fantastic. They were lovely to deal with and we had a brilliant night they even played on longer than planned. The backdrop with a slideshow of pictures was an extra special touch. Thanks again.

We honestly couldn't recommend Am Sounds Dj enough!! They arrived to set up before the band and were ready to go as soon as the band finished. They played until the early hours of the morning. The dance floor was full all night with brilliant music played. Music requests were no issue. We had lots of fun with a few games which everyone enjoyed and really got the crowd going. They also had two large screens for our photos to be played on, which all our guests loved! If you have a wedding coming up do not hesitate to book an sounds. They are extremely professional and offer superb value for money!!

We had AmSounds for our dj at our wedding on the 1st December 2018 and we would 100% recommend Mike to anyone. He had the dancefloor full from beginning to end and was absolutely fabulous. He really knows what songs to play for the crowd. He also has a slideshow on of any pictures you want him to display on the night. It such a nice touch to have and very different . Everyone is still commenting on how brilliant the Dj was. To anyone looking to book AmSounds, you will NOT be disappointed.

DJ Mike did a great job at my wedding. He contacted me ahead of the wedding to check what kind of music we liked, so the set-list was full of our favourite songs. Whenever a guest requested a song, he always asked either me or my wife if it was okay to play it. He also had some very creative ways to get all the guests out dancing, and the dance-floor wasn't empty for the whole night. I would definitely recommend him as a wedding DJ, or indeed, for any other function.

We hired Mike as our DJ for our wedding. Before the big day, I had been speaking with Mike via email re song choices.. sent Mike a list of songs that we would like. Mike was brilliant at suggesting tips and music for the DJ set, I was very happy to trust his judgment.
On the day itself, Mike was there early to set up once the band had finished. I met him and his lovely wife, they were both so chatty and excited to be there! They asked me if it would be ok to improvise with some party games during the night...I wasn't sure at first... well... I must say, Mike can read a room! He got the whole party up on the dance floor, everyone joined in with the games (riverdance and rock the boat).. I was not expecting my guests to appreciate something like that but they LOVED it!
Obviously Mike couldn't have possibly played all the songs I had on my list as possibly didn't have them all anyway. However he did a great job reading the crowd and adjusted the music to make sure everyone had a ball. The big screen behind the DJ box was a genius idea.. music videos of the songs playing were shown on the screen and all my guests were trying to copy the choreography ???? loads of fun!
I would have no hesitation recommending Mike for any event. Thanks Mike!!!

They done a kids disco and pass the parcel which went down a treat..the dance floor was full all night and the screen playing videos is brilliant he was a real growd pleaser, they were both a pleasure to work with from the first meeting up untill late into the night. What can I can "I want to do it all again this weekend" best night of my life.was a bit dubious about using DJ for our full night entertainment but there was no need for worry at all. Mike was so professional from our first phone call. Answered all my questions by email very fast. Himself and his partner arrived early so we were ready to hit that floor ASAP ???? and hit that dance floor we did. Great music great atmosphere. Danced all night long. Mike was the most amazing DJ at our wedding! He is a thorough gentleman and was so professional throughout the booking process and on the day itself. The screens he includes in his set for dance offs and dance alongs are such a unique addition and were great entertainment on the night. My husband was a bit sceptical about these screens and wasn't sure if he wanted them included, but now I am so glad I didn't listen to him -- and had our first "I told you so" moment as husband and wife!
All our guests were raving about the dance offs and the dance along songs that Mike did, people of all ages were on the dancefloor. My personal favourite was the Riverdance dance off! The day after our wedding, my father in law said he is normally on the dancefloor enjoying himself for Riverdance but for our wedding, he stepped off the floor for this and decided to watch us all instead of participating as it was such a special moment to see everyone laughing and dancing and having so much fun.
Many of our guests would attend multiple weddings a year and they all said they had never seen anything like Mike's set before. I've had lots of requests from people asking how to contact Mike as they want to recommend him to other couples planning a wedding or they are interested in his services for their own upcoming events.

From the moment I made contact with Mike he was more then helpful. We planned our wedding in 6 weeks. We also knew we didnt want a band so when we were looking for our D.j We were looking for someone who had experience in doing full weddings. Mike didn't leave us down. He had the guests up dancing all nite. He also did a section for the children which I will admit drew alot of the adults and set the trend for the remainder of the night. We had such a laugh with the dance off's berween the men and the women. I couldn't recommend Mike enough. Thank you Mike.

Mike was very easy to deal with. He played the style of music we like. The dancefloor was packed. We especially loved the songs like the cha cha slide with the dance moves on the screen! The slideshow was a great talking point amongst guests!

An excellent service provided by Mike. His Video display went down a treat, Speeches ran later so pushed the bands starting time out Mike was Flexible to start as soon as the band finished. Band had got everyone on the floor and Mike kept them on the floor for remainder of the night with a good mixture of music to suit both old and young. For the price he is well worth chatting too and will leave your guests in a very party mood

Mike from AM Sound DJ is absolutely superb at what he does . From the get go Mike was a dream to deal with which put us at ease. Myself and Connie were having a pub/marquee wedding and the logistics of plugs and set up we weren't too sure or what set up would be exactly on the day. Mike was so relaxed and so competent he didn't bat an eyelid. He came to visit our set up two days before (above and beyond the call of duty) and he liased with the band before and on the day about setup etc . Basically he took all the responsibility and thinking out of our hands. We booked a lively fun loving bad for our wedding and we wanted to keep that buzz all night . The transition from band to dj was seamless. Mike kept our danceflooor full all night . Actually myself and my husband neglected our mingling duties or chances to take time out , mikes tunes made the dance floor too good to leave. He managed to play all our favourites and read the crowd as well. It was a wild party and we can't thank mike enough. If you want to deal with a true professional as well as a gentleman that genuinely wants to make your special day special , then book mike .

We recently held our wedding reception in Killarney and booked Am Sound for the evening. We had 30 people attend 10 of which were children. AM Sound were fantastic for the children, they had a disco and party games which the childrern absoultely loved. Later that evening the adults spent the night dancing till quite late!
Overall the service was fantastic and I would highly recommend Am Sound.

We had AMsounds at our wedding at the start of June & Mike & his wife Bernie did an outstanding job. We had an excellent band & they were hard to follow but AMsounds djs actually equalled them! They got the crowd out on the floor & there was great banter. We got amazing feedback from our guests & they played music for all tastes and ages. They had an excellent lighting system & state of the art equipment such as projection screens that showed our photos from years back to present. I would highly recommend amsounds djs for any occasion they really know how to get the crowd going!!!

Mike and Bernie, could not have been more helpful and friendly, from the first meeting to the day itself, they were so accommodating, even having a little disco dedicated to the children at the beginning of the evening the guests had a great time and loved the personal touch of having our family photos on the big screen. was a real talking point thanks guys xxx

We were very lucky to have am sounds Dj at our wedding. Any music we wanted he played from heavy metal to pop. Also he recommended a slide show which was pictures of myself and my husband when we were young. He had everyone out on the floor dancing and singing along. Also mike showed the videos of each song or karaoke version of the songs. I would highly recommend am sounds for a wedding or any special occasion and very good value for money. Anything you want he will cater for.

Am sounds provided us with exactly what we were looking for on our wedding day! We had a very small laid back wedding and Mike knew exactly how to get everyone dancing and having fun. We put everything together very last minute for our wedding so the fact that Mike was so helpful and professional meant the world to us! The song selectional was perfect and whenever someone had a request he would immediately play it. Mike was so easy to talk to and wonderful to work with! We would definitely recommend using Am sounds and we plan on using them again when we need a DJ :)

Hi,just want to say am sounds djs were excellent.couldnt recommend them highly enough.the dance floor was full all nite of all ages.they played something for everyone.the projector with our pictures when we wer young was a lovely touch.they make things as easy as possible for me and had absolutely no problems they wer a pleasure to meet and am so glad I had them for our wedding

Couldn't compliment Mike and his team more. Great selection of music - and included all our requests. The dance floor was full all night - always a good sign! Would definitely recommend.

We didn't have a band, so getting a good DJ was really important, but we hit the jackpot with AM Sounds. I can't recommend them enough!
