Amelda first trained as a beauty therapist, then specialised in facial tutoring in the reknowned Bronwyn Conroy Beauty College Monkstown, before training as a makeup artist with MAC in Dublin. Amelda's philosophy: beautiful skin makes for amazing, flawlist makeup, so you'll be getting expert skincare and make up advice.Having worked in the make up and bridal industry for many years Amelda knows how important it is for a bride to feel herself and comfortable with her make up look on the most important day of her life, whether it be a natural,dramatic or defined look, ultimately its the brides call. Amelda will give her expert opinion and advice, but what the bride wants the bride gets - this is why a trial booked in advance is so important, skin condition, product advice, nails, eyebrow shape, false lashes, tanning all these will be discussed and can be arranged with Amelda.Trials are best to take place during natural day light to give a true reflection for bridal make up.Amelda uses Thalgo skincare which is based on seaweed and aromatherapy from France making it very gentle and % safe for brides. As regards make up brands, having trained with MAC Amelda does love their products but also has a lot of other key brands in the kit, Estee Lauder, Laura Mericer, Lancome and is always on the look out for any new products.If you have a mascara or lipstick you love, that's great, bring it along to the trial.After training and working in Dublin for many years, Amelda has relocated to Westport in Co. Mayo, working mainly in Mayo and the Connaught area, travelling to brides' home and hotels.
