We met Dez at the Galway Wedding Fair and immediately felt at ease with him. He was so down to earth and genuinely felt like someone we could completely get along with. We’re not the most comfortable couple in front of a camera and were really nervous about taking pictures, but we trusted our gut after meeting him and Bokeh ended up being the first supplier we booked — we didn’t even feel the need to look elsewhere.

Dez made the whole day feel effortless. We got the most amazing photos back and he has such a talent for turning ordinary moments into something really special. One of my favourite photos is actually a moment where I nearly tripped over my dress going up the stairs — thanks to Dez’s humour and ability to keep us relaxed, it ended up looking so natural.

Bokeh’s work speaks for itself and their Instagram is stunning, but what really stands out is how comfortable and at ease they make you feel on the day, while never taking you away from those special moments with your family and friends.

I had actually been following their work for years, and they had also photographed two of our friends’ weddings — which we loved — so choosing them felt like such an easy decision. They completely lived up to (and exceeded!) all our expectations.

Dez was with me for the morning preparations and throughout the day, and he was incredible. He made me feel completely at ease, captured all the little moments, and managed everything so naturally without ever feeling intrusive. His attention to detail and ability to catch genuine moments really stood out.

Tim, our videographer, was fantastic. He blended seamlessly into the background while still capturing all the key moments. We barely noticed he was there at times, yet he didn’t miss a thing. His calm presence helped keep everyone relaxed, and we’re so excited to see the finished film knowing he captured the day so beautifully.

Fionnuala was with the groom and did an amazing job there as well. She kept everything running smoothly, made the morning fun, and captured brilliant candid shots. It was great knowing both sides of the day were being documented with such care and professionalism.

Our sneak peek was absolutely amazing and got us even more excited to see the rest!

A special mention to Debbie, who I had been in contact with throughout the planning process. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and always happy to help with any queries we had along the way. Her communication was excellent, and she made everything feel straightforward and well organised from the very beginning right up until the big day.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Dez and Tim for everything they did on our wedding day. They were absolutely amazing from start to finish.

From the moment they arrived, they made the whole experience feel so calm, relaxed, and enjoyable. Their easy-going nature and great sense of humour immediately put us at ease, which made such a difference, especially during moments when things can feel a bit overwhelming.

Neither of us are particularly comfortable in front of a camera, but Dez and Tim made it feel completely natural. They gave just the right amount of guidance while still letting us be ourselves, and we never felt rushed or posed. They blended into the day so effortlessly while still capturing all the important moments.

They were also brilliant with our family and guests, making everyone feel comfortable and keeping things fun and light-hearted. So many people commented on how lovely and professional they both were.

What we really appreciated was how organised and relaxed they were throughout the entire day. It felt like they had everything under control, which allowed us to simply enjoy every moment of our wedding.

My husband and I first met Agnes at his sister’s wedding in October 2023. I was immediately drawn to her bubbly personality and laid-back nature. We had already booked another photographer of my husband’s choosing when we bumped into Agnes at the RDS wedding fair in January 2025. I am a believer in fate; and I begged my husband if we could please swap photographers, as I knew Agnes would be the perfect fit for us.

From our first phone call with Agnes before our wedding, I knew she was the right choice. I could tell from her voice that she was almost as excited as we were for our big day. Agnes arrived at Ashley Park House on the morning of the wedding, and she immediately had me and my bridesmaids at ease. Agnes is far more than a photographer. Her interactions with all family members including young children, and especially our dog Nancy were perfect, and I know this has contributed to her getting the perfect shots of our loved ones looking their very best. From making a bow for Nancy’s collar from bridesmaid dress cuttings, to fashioning a new floral pinhole for the Groom when it fell off; and holding my train as we traipsed around in the wind and rain – Agnes went above and beyond for us.

Agnes captured perfectly all that we wanted from our wedding day. As well as the formal family shots she took some beautiful more relaxed photos of our guests. She is a master at getting her subjects to laugh, which achieves the most natural smile; and she really captured the true essence of all of our family and friends. This is exactly what we wanted.

Agnes was a pleasure to deal with, and Debbie could not do more for us. We could not recommend Bokeh Photography enough.

The joint second easiest decision we made was selecting Bokeh Photography for our wedding (the first being the engagement of course and the other second was our venue ha)!
Bokeh Photography website stood out to us right away; the general vibe was fun, not too serious paired with extremely professional quality (and seriously excellent photos!) which was exactly what we were looking for!
All of the interactions with making the booking with Debbie and the lead up to the big day were easy and we had so much reassurance from following them on socials that we had made the right choice for the vibe we were looking to have on our day.

We had a call with Agnes before the big day to go through timings, plans etc and she made us feel so comfortable, honestly felt like had known her for years. She came with so much great advice (about timings/types of photos etc), great vibes and we knew that we could trust she was going to capture the day. We are both people who do not feel comfortable behind a camera and we felt very reassured after this discussion that this would not matter!

The big day itself - Agnes and Joe (videographer) just slotted right in, they brought such great energy and instantly made us feel comfortable with the cameras. Agnes knew our venue well and was able to just guide us around and tell us what to do, she had so many great ideas and nothing was too much and we could bring our own ideas too. She is incredible at what she does and how she does it! As a bride and groom your mind really is up in the sky and so just to be guided through the photos without having to think about the shots/the pose/what to do next really takes that stress away so you can just be on cloud 9. At no point during the day were we worried about not having enough photos or the staging of them, or how we looked which was great! We had so many compliments from our guest about Agnes and Joe too which was so nice, not only were they hyping us up but they hyped the guests up too and the candid shots caught are just beautiful!

Receiving our photos back was the most exciting thing and even from looking through the first few really set it stone that we made the best decision ever by choosing Bokeh. Having the best day and all the memories in your mind is one thing but having something to look at that has perfectly captured the essence and joy of the day is so so special and that is exactly what Agnes did - all with such ease and professionalism! Honestly considering these are still images, our photos were so full of life, the lighting, the clarity, the small candid moments - just everything captured in a way only a real professional can. We are absolutely over the moon and will be looking at these forever!
Agnes thank you !!SO!! much! You are a legend!!! and we cannot wait to see the video :) - anyone reading this who is on the fence, trust us when we say you will have no regrets!

Where to start- in the run up the lovely Debbie could not have been more helpful and accommodating! And then, when the big day arrived and we had somehow managed to book Agnes for the wrong date (wedding planning is hard 🥲) the whole team pulled it out of the bag to save the day- sending a lovely photographer Liam who was on holidays at the time to cover all the pre-ceremony photos while the beautiful and joyous Agnes raced to Slane from Galway at the speed of light. Agnes was such a joy throughout the day, completely reassuring a very panicked bride and making two people who are usually very uncomfortable with photos just so incredibly comfortable. Everyone could not stop telling ys how lovely she was and by the end it really felt like she was just another guest enjoying the day. We cannot reccomend Bokeh and Agnes enough- they are the best!

The video has just appeared in my inbox and safe to say I am OBSESSED. Besides the fact that we look damn good, we look positively cinematic and it would not have been possible without lovely Josep and his steady camera skills. Instead of paying your cousin a few quid to do the video, why don't you pay a professional like Josep who will capture your day professionally AND treat you like family. We had the best day and looking back at the video, it shows. Highly recommend choosing Bokeh for your big day.

We cannot say enough good things about Bokeh from start to finish. Debbie was a pleasure to deal with from the very beginning so quick to respond and so accommodating! Tim and Josip were a joy to work with, we had good fun and everything was so relaxed and easy. They were so quick with everything on the day and didn’t hold us back from enjoying every minute of it! We loved the service of Bokeh Photography, I organized our wedding from Canada and It was so easy to contact and arrange all the details of the photography service, Debbie and Agnes were so clear and professional. Bokeh was a dream to work with from start to finish. Not only are the final films and photos everything we wanted them to be, the team really matched our energy, and that makes all the difference when it comes to the wedding vendor you end up spending the most time with.

To start, the planning phase was smooth and organized; we knew they had everything covered by the way they kept in touch consistently. On the day, Dez and Josip had a relaxed and positive vibe that matched ours. We hardly noticed them (I mean that in the best way as they blended into the day seamlessly) unless I looked for them because I hoped they were capturing a certain moment, and they were never far away. They also helped us relax (and laugh) in front of the lens so the pictures reflect our real dynamic.

The final album and films are simply stunning. We received the exact memories and keepsakes we were hoping for. At first, we were skeptical that we’d want the full-length film, but we’re so so glad we went with it in the end. The edits on the images are gorgeous, too. We’d highly recommend the Bokeh team to anyone getting married. Thanks a mil, guys! You nailed it.

We booked Photosbybokeh after admiring their content on their Instagram page and we are so glad we did! We also got to meet Dez and Debbie at the wedding show in the RDS and they were great craic so this made us very excited for the day. Debbie was so easy to deal with and so kind in her emails. Tim Pearce our photographer organized a call with us a few days before our wedding which really put us as ease and he was the perfect fit for our personalities. We also had the lovely Niall Mulligan stepping in at the last minute for video. Tim and Niall together was a great combination. Tim brought a lovely calm vibe to our day and he is very easy to work with. Niall was mischievous and cheeky and we loved that too! Both Tim and Niall blended into the background but we're super professional. We love the little snippets of video we got and the 30 shots from Tim were gorgeous. Tim made sure that we had time to enjoy the sun at our drinks reception. He also grabbed a great opportunity for a photo at sunset which turned out beautiful. And Niall got us to do a lift which was a great suggestion! We were so happy with their presence on the day. Tim and Niall made the groom and the grooms men feel at ease on what was a very nervous morning, and the same for the bride and her crew. I (Emma) has a cold sore which was not ideal but both Tim and Niall reassured me that you would not see it in photos. We were delighted with them overall and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any couple getting married! Thanks so much Tim and Niall (and to Liam who was unable to make it).

From start to finish working with Bokeh and Dez has been a fantastic experience. They were true to their word on everything. Dez slotted into the morning prep and day perfectly and the photos show that. I cannot even begin to describe how in love with our wedding photos we are. Having seen previous work from Bokeh I had known I wanted them to photograph our wedding. However, I cannot believe we were lucky enough to have Agnes shoot it for us. My goodness, I could talk about her all day. It felt like having a friend photograph you, she was so friendly, so lovely to work with and just insanely talented. The end result just speak for themselves. She captured our day even better than we expected. Agnes brought so much LIFE and love to the photos. And fun, we had so so much fun with her. We just got married in September and I had to come on and recommend Bokeh photography for photos and videos!
We just received our photos today and I genuinely could not be happier with how they turned out! We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better photography and videography team than Bokeh Photography and Film for our wedding! Dez was an absolute gem. He made us feel totally at ease, cracking jokes and keeping everything relaxed while somehow managing to capture the most stunning, natural photos. He caught all the little details we would’ve missed in the moment, and the editing was just unreal. The “movie trailer” of our wedding is just perfect, and exactly what we were looking for!

What really made the difference was how much fun they were to have around. Dez and Tim weren’t just vendors—they felt like part of the wedding party! They had us laughing all day, kept everything running smoothly, and somehow managed to be everywhere at once without ever being in the way. They stole us away after dinner for some truly stunning golden hour photos that blew us away. And the genius move to take a photograph of us lying on the floor is our most complimented photo. The day was really warm and muggy and we were ROASTING. When they suggested we lie down on the cold tiles at the bottom of the staircase in the Maryborough we jumped at the chance to cool down!! It’s one of our favourite photos!

Living abroad, we had a call with Agnes, our photographer, and it was like chatting with an old friend. She was incredibly professional yet personable, and her passion for her craft shone through. By the end of the call, I knew we were in the best hands.

On the wedding day, Agnes and Liam, our videographer, brought such joy and energy that we couldn’t stop laughing from the moment they arrived. They made us feel completely at ease and knew exactly how to get the best shots while keeping everything relaxed and natural. Their ability to blend into the background was incredible—they captured so many moments where we didn’t even realize they were there!

When we received the videos, it was like reliving the magic of our day all over again. The footage felt like watching a beautifully crafted movie filled with all the love, laughter, and happy memories. We couldn't recommend Dez and the Bokeh team enough. Debbie, in the office was so helpful and efficient with our bookings (we kept adding to our package) and she was always so happy and friendly. Dez, Fionnuala and Liam were with us on the day. We loved the energy they brought to the day. Neither of us particularly like posing for photos, but we felt so comfortable in front of the cameras, because, while there was a calmness about the team, they were also energetic and fun. We are so incredibly happy with our photos and we wait in excitement to see our videos.

We had bokeh photography for our wedding on 1st of June 2024. All communication is via Debbie in the office who is prompt and responsive and a good bright, laugh even over emails. She was very understanding and helpful through an almost very big wedding setback.
On the day we had dez and naiomi. They were amazing and very professional, unintrusive and got everyone laughing and forgetting about the camera.
They got all the important shots plus some gorgeous impromptu photos of the bridal party and guests.
They worked incredibly well alongside our videographer (Liam -bad bear visuals)
We ordered a photo album and our gallery did not disappoint.
There was a little delay, as it was during busy season but this was well communicated and we weren't left wondering or waiting long. Debbie kept in contact throughout.

We had Agnes for our wedding in May and I cannot recommend her and Bokeh highly enough. Honestly can't t recommend Bokeh enough. We used them for our wedding in December just gone and one thing I hadn't expected was the amount of FUN we had with them. We hired Agnes from Bokeh Photography to capture our Wedding. What can we say about Agnes only that she was amazing to work with. She was so professional but also great fun while capturing the photos at home before the ceremony which really helped to put people at ease which added to the atmosphere for the rest of the day. During the ceremony, we didn't even notice her presence which was amazing as if meant that we didn't feel on edge constantly posing for photographs and this is what makes her work so great. The candid photos are AMAZING, such beautiful shots captured of everyone. She even went out of her way to make sure we got all the photos we wanted as well. She was a great addition to the day and we would highly recommend. This was great because it was clear from chatting to her that she understood exactly what we wanted - which were candid shots and a relaxed experience. She also gave us a run through of how the day would go which was invaluable. She was also very responsive with any questions we had in the run up.
? The wedding day - The day of was just a great experience. I don't like posing for photos so its saying a lot that I enjoyed and had fun with the whole experience. Largely due to Agnes' fun and pleasant demeanour. When we weren't needed to pose, you would hardly even know Agnes was there.
? The end result - The photos themselves came back really quick and they are amazing! Lots of fun pics, lots of great moments captured.

Bokeh Photography was our wedding photographer for our big day on March 5th 2023 in Boyne Hill House Estate, Co. Meath. We contacted Bokeh after discovering them on Instagram and liking the look of their laid-back approach and stunning pictures. We chose them after just a couple of emails back and forth with Debbie - she was an absolute pleasure to deal with and so responsive at all times; a breath of fresh air in those stressful months of planning.

Dez was our photographer on the day. I cannot thank him enough for everything. It was just the best day, and it was great to have him there to keep us on track to getting some great photos without taking us away from our celebration or putting any pressure on us. He was a pleasure to work with and his cool, calm presence really helped during some of the stressful moments - that I am so grateful for! He sent us some gorgeous sneak peak photos on the day which was a lovely surprise, and we loved looking through them the next morning.

The fantastic customer service did not stop there - within a couple of days post-wedding we had an email from Debbie clearly outlining the next steps of the process and what to expect. She communicated an 8-12 week timeline on delivery, with a promise to reduce that turnaround time if at all possible. We we're DELIGHTED to receive our photo's back within 4 weeks - including a beautiful slideshow set to music that we could easily share with family and friends over WhatsApp, email etc. As for the photograph's - I am blown away by them! They are the perfect mix of styles including beautiful family portraits, hilarious candid pictures and some unbelievable shots using a projector (a great idea from Dez on the day!)

Dez, Tim and Debbie were absolutely fantastic on our wedding day. They were very responsive in the lead up and always on hand to answer any questions. They were on time on the morning and great fun. From the enquiry process right through to receiving our stunning pictures and videos, everything was exceptional!! I can not thank Dez, Matt and Agnes enough for capturing our special day so so well!! Dez and Matt came to my house the morning of and slotted right in, we barely noticed that they were there and took so many pictures that I never knew were even being taken. Agnes captured the boys on the morning and it was so great to see what went on at my now husband's, house.
On the day we unfortunately weren't blessed with the sunshine and it rained consistently throughout the day however, this did not impact whatsoever on our pictures or video. Even before the wedding, Dez kindly threw in an engagement shoot halfway across the country, where we got to know him and he got to know us (our good and bad sides!!). His pictures are out of this world if his sneak peek is anything to go by. He just blended in the morning of the wedding, you will not realise he is taking any photos at all. Which was ideal for us, as both of us hate getting our photos taken. He was like a member of the family. The guests even complimented how good he is and how nice he was to everyone. Debbie his assistant is even a pleasure to deal with on the lead up to the big day. Never did either of them add any stress as the big day fast approached. Id give them an 11/10 for anyone who asks.

Myself and my husband got married on the 2nd December '19 in Cabra Castle. We specifically booked close to the Christmas period not just because its our favourite time of year, but to accommodate the beauty of our wedding photos.
We consider ourselves blessed to have booked Bokeh Photography. We sat with a glass of wine and eagerly awaited our photo's to upload (in which the presentation was impeccable) and were over the moon to see an array of beautiful photo's to document the day. Our collection was sprinkled with glistening lights, christmas tree's and magical backdrops.

Dez was the picture of professionalism, fun, kindness and calm. He went out of his way to get to know everyone and guests spoke afterwards about how they felt so comfortable in his company. This was so important to us from the moment we met Dez we knew that he was the right choice. From the engagement shoot to the wedding, Dez was happy to talk about our vision for the day and showed such creativity in bringing it to life. Dez captured moments that I will cherish forever - my husband and I couldn't recommend him highly enough!

From start to finish Dez was so professional and attentive to our needs and wants. His work is so beautiful I was delighted he was available for our big day. He went above and beyond for us as our wedding day was an absolute washout he put our minds at ease and arranged to take our outdoor photos another day when sun was out and I couldn't of been happier to get dressed up for a second time. We recieved our photos very quickly after. Excellent service and affordable prices. He doesn't know it but he will be our family photographer from now on. Could not of been happier with the results.... Hardest part is picking your favourites to get framed without turning our house into a gallery. Looking forward to working with Dez again in the near future. Photography is an art, this man is a true artist and I am a huge fan.

When everything was said and done, and the wedding blues had finally kicked in as the day we were planning for 18 months had come and gone, Dez at Bokeh photography sent us an email which would bring us right back into our wedding bubble. Our photos arrived and it was like living the day all over. We were familiar with his work as we decided to book an engagement shoot as a sort of trial run. Needless to say we were so impressed with the photos he returned to us that we booked him straight away. (I was slightly surprised he took the booking as we dragged him all around Dublin, from the Guinness store house, to Howth head and back again haha)
On our wedding day we opted for the second shooter which Dez offers in one of his packages. That allowed for both morning preparations to be captured and something we would have never thought of ourselves. His experience became invaluable to us when it came to the small details like that.
As you can imagine, you have a lot of people to talk to on your wedding day, and it was like Dez managed to capture each conversation just at the punchline. He spent the morning shooting my wife and her family and he struck up a great relationship with them (including 6 year old molly, who refused to smile until he won her around)
The day our photos arrived, the champagne was popped and we both cried, AGAIN. Such a nice reminder of the best day of our lives. And now Dez photography is placed all over our home.

We couldn't him highly enough. The above probably doesn't do him enough justice, but you really won't be disappointed if you choose Bokeh.

Working with Dez was the icing on the cake for our wedding day. We traveled to Ireland from the United States and Dez graciously worked with our tight schedule, showing understanding and flexibility along the way. He took the time to get to know us while bringing wonderful energy and creativity to our sessions. The photos were brilliant and my husband and I are still so grateful. Truly, it was like having a trusted friend as our photographer and we look forward to sharing a pint with Dez next time we're in Ireland!
