Brendan McCahey Band

We had Brendan for our day 2 party, he was amazing to deal with before and during, such a lovely guy! Everyone commented on how great he was and played such a range of songs, appealing to all genres. Brendan even managed to respond to some random requests in the middle of his set and was so friendly and accommodating! Would recommend Brendan without a doubt, I only wish we had booked him for longer!

Brendan recently played at our Wedding Reception and we were absolutely blown away by Brendan and his band! On top of the Wedding Reception Brendan also performed at the drinks reception setting a lovely tone for the day. On the night the dance floor was never empty and there was music to cater for all ages and preferences. We got countless comments on how brilliant the music and band were. We went with the additional Saxophone option for the DJ set and would definitely recommend it. Brendan was a joy to deal with in the run up and made everything so easy! Brendan played for our recent wedding at Glasson Lakehouse. He a joy to deal with throughout the whole experience, from booking to performance. We had some chances throughout the booking process, all of which Brendan took in his stride. Brendan is a real talent, so polite and professional to deal with. The music was great, exactly what we wanted- a real mixture of genre that got people up on the dance floor! A great band, would definitely recommend.

Brendan and band were absolutely fabulous on the night itself but very professional in the weeks/months leading up to the wedding also. The band played a variety of old classics and modern funky music to ensure the dancefloor was filled at all times. Brendan had no problem on the night adding a request or two from the guests and he also made sure the bride and groom interacted with their guests on several occasions. Start to finish, a pleasure to work with and an amazing talent. A worthy winner of “The Voice Of Ireland”.

We just wanted to thank you so much for making our wedding evening and night so special. You and your band really know how to get the party started! Everyone loved the music, young and more mature! You were so inclusive to everyone which was so important to us. Everyone is still talking about how brilliant you all were. A New Year Eve for us all to remember.

We met Brendan at a Wedding Fair in the Cavan Crystal hotel. Initially we had asked if he could sing at our drinks receptions on the wedding day. We then asked him and his band if they were available for the evening as well. Honestly you could not get a nicer group of guys. Brendan sang from 3 O' Clock at the drinks reception and continued in to the early hours of Sunday morning. He was a Tour de Force. The bands setlist had the floor full all night long, The DJ set kept the dance floor hopping until the bar closed! After the wedding, alot of friends and family commented on how good the music and band were at our wedding. He and his band really created a lively party atmosphere and made our day very special. Some voice!

Not only is Brendan a fantastic musician, he is an absolute gentleman and is such a nice person. He couldn’t have done more for us on our wedding day & our 2nd day BBQ. He looked like he was genuinely enjoying entertaining us all. He had a great rapport with our guests. He played a beautiful rendition of a Roy Orbison song that brought myself & my Father to tears during our first dance. We even got a bonus Elton John session with him on our piano on the 2nd day. (Even though he had another gig that night to attend) Would definitely recommend him & his band.

We would highly Brendan and his band. They were the ultimate professionals from start to finish and genuine nice guys too!! We got rave reviews from our guests about the band. Played a 2.5hrs set with no break and didn’t want to stop but the hotel did!! Stunning!! 5 stars and highly recommended!!

Brendan is an ultimate professional and gentleman. He was very accommodating with organising music for our ceremony and in providing a fantastic band which was exactly what we were looking for on the night. We couldn't recommend him more. He has an amazing voice, a gifted musician and was a pleasure to work with and just a really sound guy.
