Cake rise was extremely helpful during the wedding planning, very responsive with emails and helpful in regards to guiding us through the process of cake choosing.
The cake looked and tasted amazing, and we got a lot of compliments on the day in regards to our flavouring, which was Baileys salted caramel!

Cake rise is closed on Sunday. The wedding was Sunday, but the cake could have been delivered Saturday and this would have helped a lot if it was mentioned. I think there was mis-communication as another cake was delivered that Saturday to the same venue, so it could have been helpful to know that as the venue is happy to keep it. Overall, the cake looked great and I was happy with it!

I pride myself on doing an excellent job for couples both with their cakes & also with communication & the information I provide them with from the outset of their inquiry.
In the interest of fairness here, & I have to say I feel like I am being thrown under the bus, with two sides to every story it is only fair I respectfully express my side.
As I explained this week, I genuinely didn't know the venue took cakes in the day before & I didn't know that was your arrangement with them.
In order to change your booking I would need this information.
Although yes, I am closed on Sundays as I am a single person business, my initial offer to deliver on the Sunday of your Wedding the 11th of Aug 2024 was turned down, which is absolutely no problem. This in turn would've led me to believe delivery wasn't required. (see my email 23.3.23, your replies 27.3.23 & 8.5.23).
At the outset when I offered delivery for the Sunday of your Wedding, I was advised you wouldn't be taking me up on that offer, you would be arranging collection, an uncle I believe, hence telling me you didn't require delivery.
From all of this information (see above listed emails), I believed what was advised in your emails & wouldn't have known to go back to you again at any stage asking if you wanted delivery, regardless of what my schedule was the day before.
At that time of your booking, I didn't have a booking for the day before but this is irrelevant as I believed your initial emails e.g stating you wouldn't be taking a delivery option.
I hope this respectfully explains my situation & your booking. Wishing you both all the best for the future.

I got a lemon cake from Carina from CakeRise and it was just divine. I couldn't do a tasting as I live overseas, so needed to trust that it would be ok. It was beyond ok - it was so tasty and it looked amazing with the fresh flowers on it.
Carina was so lovely to deal with and answered all of my questions in a responsive manner. She provided lots of guidance along the way!

Thank you so much to Karina for our beautiful wedding cake! She was incredible easy to correspond with, very responsive and very helpful throughout, with incredible attention to detail. We had a simple buttercream cake with fresh flowers arranged by Karina which turned out so beautifully and was a real talking point of the dining room. Not only that but it tasted amazing too - our guests were only delighted to have the chance to bring some home as they checked out the next morning!

We were delighted with the cake Karina made us for our wedding. The process was so straightforward and easy, Karina knew all the right questions to ask and the end result was perfect. Looked great and tasted delicious! There was none leftover so I think that says it all... thank you Karina!!

Karina was so easy to deal with from the start. She is careful in her advice and what cake option is going to best suit you based on your tastes/ preferences, whilst ensuring the best quality product is going to be produced. She took time to speak over the phone and go through sizing etc. Our wedding happened to land during 2023's June heatwave and Karina took great care in travelling to our venue to set up was achieved smoothly. She organised our fresh flowers on the day from our florist and the cake table was just perfection. Needless to say, there wasn't a crumb left by day 2! Her taste boxes are also a great way to sample the delicious varieties on offer and what helped us choose our final flavours. It was also lovely to have a sample box delivered to mark another step in the wedding planning with my husband to be.

Your mind will be made up as soon as you receive Cake Rise's delicious and gorgeously presented cake samples. The most delicious cake we have tried by far. Cake Rise had excellent and very detailed communication. The cake itself was absolutely stunning and delicious the day of. Highly recommend.

Karina was great to work with, very thorough in her communication prior to our wedding to ensure we were happy! On the day, the cake was DIVINE! It looked absolutely beautiful with the flowers and was just what I wanted--a simple 3 tier white cake with diagonal flowers and Karina executed to perfection. I kept turning around to look at it through dinner! And later on when it was served, the chocolate sponge was so delicious. We?re keeping the top tier in the freezer for our 1 year anniversary and I genuinely can?t wait to taste it again! Thanks very much Karina and all the best, Kate & Garry

Karina made the most beautiful cake, exactly what I wanted. Two tier, peach marble on the bottom and white on the top. She knows all the right questions to ask to achieve what you want. I admired her directness. The cake was also delicious, chocolate biscuit cake and lemon. We served on the second day to make sure people properly enjoyed it. I highly recommend her.

Karina was fantastic from start to finish. I gave her my colour theme and a picture from her website. She had some ideas to change the design. I was planning the wedding from another country so I just trusted her vision and ran with it! When I went to collect the cake I was genuinely blown away by how impressive and beautiful it was! Karina's attention to detail is remarkable. We got married at the beautiful Harvey's Point and even the wedding coordinator asked me who made the cake as they were so impressed with the cake and the amount of detail Karina had included in her instructions. She is a true professional. I also had guests mention to me at breakfast the next morning how beautiful the cake tasted! Honestly, Karina and her creation far exceeded my expectation, I would not hesitate to recommend her or use her service again!

Cake Rise was one of the first suppliers I booked and I?m so delighted that I did. Karina created an absolute masterpiece for our wedding cake. She was very easy to deal with and always responded to my queries promptly. She went out of her way to make sure everything about our cake was perfect. I chose a design she had created previously but she worked with me to make it truly bespoke and special. Her creation surpassed my expectations. Furthermore, the cake flavours we chose were absolutely delicious, we actually found it difficult to choose our final flavours as all of the samples were so nice! I would highly recommend Cake Rise, Karina is incredibly talented.

Amazing wedding cake! My husband and I are from the States and had a destination wedding in Sligo. It was easy communicating with her via email. I got quick responses and helpful suggestions. On the wedding day she delivered the cake and put on fresh flowers my florist had left her. I couldn?t have been happier with my dream cake. It tasted amazing as well. Karina at Cake Rise was extremely professional throughout the cake making process, responding to our different requirements for the cake and offering some really useful advice about how to make the cake look great on the wedding day, e.g. stopping it from drying out. We felt the price we paid was certainly fair and definitely well worth it. Would highly recommend!

Cake Rise allowed me to pay in instalments up to the day of the wedding which really helped me when paying out for a wedding.
When I first saw the cake I was blown away, it was perfect and everything I asked for, better than I imagined.
Living in England I relied on emails to talk to through cake ideas, I always had prompt responses.
I had never tasted one of their cakes but i was not disappointed.

Karina is the most professional and perfectionist person I have ever met,I sent My inspiration cake and am a very picky and particularly person hard to please but honestly my wedding cake was the most beautiful cake I have ever seen it only outside even inside .she kept me updated on every step as making the cake...I can?t say enough about Karina but our cake was beyond our expectations I highly recommend her.

Karina was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we met her we knew she was so passionate about making cakes and accommodated everything we asked, from adjusting flavours to match our taste to the decoration. We also had a tight timeline and she was still able to do everything we asked and more. Her kitchen/showroom is beautiful, and immaculately clean, you can tell she is such a perfectionist from the moment you walk in. We had three flavours of cake, the carrot cake, the chocolate biscuit and the vanilla sponge, they were all amazing and the carrot cake was the best I ever tasted, everyone was commenting on how delicious the cake was. I would highly recommend Cake Rise for your wedding cake, Karina will put you at ease and make sure everything is perfect.

We had a vision of how we wanted it to look and Karina got it spot on, it was even better than we could have imagined and tasted amazing. We decided very last minute to order a cake and had some specific requests i.e. including a logo I had designed for our wedding. Was all fine and even though our wedding was troubled with bad weather (Storm Emma, loads of snow!) and we were late on getting to Ireland from England - everything was still perfect and the cake was in the venue ready to be cut! Great service and super helpful and understanding.

We were having a small rustic wedding and only needed a one tier cake, I showed Karina a few pictures but was happy to let her do whatever she thought would look good! The cake was both beautiful and delicious! Karina even used buttercream to decorate it as we don't like icing, and it still looked amazing! I didn't meet Karina myself as we were living abroad, but I talked to her through Facebook and my mum met with her, and she was really lovely and helpful!
Overall, it was a really good experience and the outcome was perfect! I would highly recommend Cake Rise!

I cant recommend cake rise enough she was amazing. We had a beach theme wedding and she made our cake round the theme. She is a truly talented lady. As i hadnt a clue about cakes she was able to tell me wat size i needed.for tbe amount of guests we were having. The detail to put into our cake topper and the sides was just amazing everyone is still talking about tge cake. I will defo be recommending her to every bride.

Absolutely fantastic service provided by Karina from initial contact to cake delivery and set up on the day. Karina was very easy to get in touch with especially by email which was so convenient as we were not from the Sligo area. Our cake looked and tasted great!

Karina made our wedding cake and it was fabulous! Not only did it look amazing but it tasted devine! All our guests raved about how scrummy it was. A massive bonus is that Karina was lovely to work with - a definite bonus when everything else is so stressful when planning a wedding, I would have no hesitation recommending her to my family and friends.

Karina is a true Talent. There are many cake suppliers out there to choose from but very few who posses the same attention to detail and creative spirit that Karina does. I have got countless cakes off Cake Rise over the years and each time I go to collect I am astounded at the workmanship and creativity.
Not only do Cake Rises cakes look flawless but they taste amazing (I am always fighting to get a piece ;-))

What karina came back with was not just a cake, but it was a work of art!! Cake Rise (Karina) was such a lady to deal with. She went above and beyond to make sure our cake was exactly they way we wanted it. Nothing was ever a problem and was so accommodating. Couldn't recommend her more.

Cake Rise was brilliant. I cant say enough about her. Her cakes are absolutely delicious and she goes to an extreme effort in decorating her cake. One of the best decisions I made when planning our wedding was having Cake Rise make our wedding cake. My sister had previously had Cake Rise make her wedding cake and when I saw her cake I was blown away by it that I knew she had to make ours. The attention to detail on our cake was amazing and so many people commented on it on the day and took plenty of photos. With all the planning of the wedding, things can be a little stressful but Karina was a dream to deal with and made everything so seamless!! I love her cakes so much that she will be making a cake for us for our baby boy's Christening Day. I would highly recommend Cake Rise to everyone for all occasions! Thank you again Karina for making our day that extra bit special.

If your looking for a professional and extremely creative cake maker then Karina is your lady, she not only can make/design the cake of your dreams but it will be so tasty. Cake Rise mad our wedding cake to start and since that Karina has made all of our children's christening cakes, I could not recommend this lady enough. You def get what you pay for with Karina ??

From the initial visit to the final visit Karina was a pleasure to work with. Karina was highly professional but also easy going ,which made the entire process stress free.
