Carouse
Carouse are one of the most entertaining professional five-piece Wedding Bands in Ireland, who are guaranteed to make any event extra special. Using traditional instruments with a rhythm section, the band play a wide variety of music from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s, right up to the present day, together with bluegrass, traditional and reggae sets, you can be sure that the dance floor will be packed throughout the night.
Carouse also offer a variety of musical packages, tailor-made to your individual requirements. Particularly popular is the all-in-one package, which provides high-end, professional music at the ceremony / church /wedding venue (2/3 piece), drinks reception (3 piece), main reception (5 piece). All packages are competitively priced, and can be combined to cater for your personal tastes and individual needs.

After sadly having to postpone our wedding day in December 24 due to a sudden family bereavement we were truly touched by how kind, compassionate, and understanding Hugh and the rest of the band/Dj were during such a difficult time. When our big day finally arrived, the band/Dj made our special day truly unforgettable. Your talent and energy brought the celebration to life and kept everyone dancing all night long. Carouse played at our wedding earlier this month, and this was the best decision we could have made! The music that they provided us with set such a wonderful and fun tone for the evening - they are very talented musicians and brought so much energy. We loved the variety of music that they played and felt that they struck such an excellent balance between traditional music and contemporary songs. The dance floor was full all night and we received so many compliments about them from our guests. We also chose to add the DJ for after Carouse was finished, and he kept the party going late into the night and we couldn’t have been happier with him. Corresponding with Hugh leading up to our wedding day was wonderful - he was very responsive and also open and flexible when it came to our music preferences. Carouse added so much to our wedding experience and I am so grateful to them and so glad that they were a part of it!

Carouse, where do we even begin! Hugh and the lads were absolutely smashing throughout our whole planning preparation. A last minute decision to have them play our reception went down a treat with all our guests, an excellent balance of trad music but at a nice volume so people could chat. Their variety of music had the floor filled all night. We would highly highly recommend these guys and look forward to going to some of their gigs in the future. They really above and beyond our expectations and really made our day so special.

Hugh and the guys were an absolute pleasure to deal with and were brilliant on the night. So much so that one of the guests booked them for their own wedding on the back of their performance. For both wedding set and DJ the guys were excellent and helped create some great memories of the night, and showed real interest in making sure that we were happy with the set. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Hugh and the lads were fantastic. They were very easy to deal with in the planning stages, they were excellent at accommodating our song choices and we couldn't be happier with how everything went. The lads provided music for the whole day, the ceremony, reception, band, and DJ, and were a massive hit with us and our guests at every stage. We had countless people sending us messages afterwards singing their praises, and we would have no hesitation to recommend Carouse to anyone looking to make their big day that little bit more special as these guys are not just the same old same old. Thanks again guys, you were a massive part of our big day and we'll always be grateful for that. Hopefully get to see you play again before too long, I know a few of our guests are keeping you in mind.

Hugh and the lads were a major hit at our wedding. People are still talking about them. The dance floor was absolutely jammed the entire night. They have a great diversity of songs and ability to keep the crowd going.
It's so hard to pick a wedding band but trust me, if you are lucky enough to get Carouse- go for it because you will not regret it.

Carouse were absolutely amazing at our wedding. All our guests raved about them and said they were the best wedding band they'd even seen! They played a huge variety of songs, the dancefloor was full all night. We would 100% recommend this band.

We choose Carouse as we had seen, heard and loved how they performed at two previous weddings. Once booked we left everything in their hands, they are great at reading the crowd and playing a set to suit the audience. Very organized and good communication. They performed at our drinks reception, dinner reception and also did DJ. Our guests had a great time and had a lot of positive feedback. Can't recommend them enough.

Carouse provided an outstanding performance at my daughters wedding reception. They were able to sense the mood of the crowd and move from one music style to another from Ed Sheeran to the Siege of Innis, which was very impressive indeed. The dance floor was crowded all night and it was great.
At one stage, as well as the priest, you had my 88 year old mother in law and 90 year old Auntie, dancing along with all the youngsters - it was an amazing sight to witness !.
I couldn't have booked a better band for this very special occasion and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Carouse to any friends or family in the future.

We had carouse for our wedding in July in clifden- they really were fantastic. They tailored the music to suit the crowd who never got off the dance floor. They played out first song as we requested even though it's wasn't a song on the song list . All the locals in clifden also sat out on the street to listen to the music. An elderly couple across from the hotel (Alcock and brown) dances the whole night on the balcony listening king to the music. Amazing -would really recommend them xx Josephine and Mick

! They are ultimate professionals with an awesome sound and had the dancefloor full all night. Half of our guests were from Australia and New Zealand and they absolutely loved the mix of Irish music and modern songs we requested as did the Irish crew. These guys are not your typical wedding band - they are a million times better! We also had Hugh and Phil play and sing at our ceremony and it was absolutely magical. Thank you guys, you are the best. Would highly, highly recommend!!

If like me youre sick of going to weddings with typical wedding music, these guys are for you! They play nirvana to trad music as well as the pogues and everything else!!!! Everyone was raving about them after and the dance floor was full all night!!! Honestly couldnt have asked for better!!!!

The guys were absolutely top class. The dance floor was full all night. The music was brilliant with everything from Queen to ACDC and everything in between.They were a one stop shop with everything from the ceremony to the DJ. The guys were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Nothing was a problem and they made the whole experience really easy and stress free. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

I cannot recommend Carouse highly enough. I was cautious when I booked as it had been difficult to find reviews on-line but their style was exactly what we wanted & Hugh was so helpful & professional from day one. I cannot tell you how much this band made our day, the atmosphere was fantastic, the floor never emptied & so many people young & old talked about our band for a long time after!

Carouse played at my Dad’s 90th birthday, which was no small task, a real mix of ages from teenagers through to people in their 50s and beyond and they got it exactly right. The balance between contemporary and traditional music was spot on, and they read the room perfectly all night.
Hugh was also a pleasure to deal with in the lead-up. We changed timings a few times, and they were incredibly accommodating and easy about it, which made everything much less stressful.
Most importantly, the dance floor was never empty — not once. They created such a great atmosphere and genuinely made the night.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Thank you to Hugh and the lads
