We had Carys for our wedding and I could not recommend her enough! I wanted to have Disney music throughout our ceremony and Carys was so open to learning and planning the songs that I wanted included! Beautiful service and excellent to work with. 5/5! ?? Thank you Carys!

Carys' music created a perfect backdrop for the drinks reception at our wedding. Her performance was beautiful. She has a great repertoire of classical, traditional and modern music. She was a great hit with our guests.

She was very responsive in the lead-up to the wedding, and showed a lot of flexibility in being able to perform for us.
We would not hesitate to recommend her.

I hate to leave a bad review here but we didn't have a good experience with Carys. We booked her for our wedding but because of covid 19 we had to change the date. When we emailed her regarding this change she was very unresponsive and I wouldn't hear back for weeks. While I understand everyone is under pressure at this time I don't think someone should have to email 2/3 times in a row to get a reply when you should be a valued customer. We lost our deposit as she couldn't make the new date which was understandable but it took three weeks for her to tell us that which is very frustrating. When your running a business you need to keep the lines of communication open. She is also more expensive then others playing the harp.

Hi Sarah,
I'm sorry that you feel disappointed in my level of service and communication with you regarding changing your wedding date during this COVID19 pandemic.
In over 25 years of performing at weddings I've never faced a challenge like this COVID19 pandemic has presented and it’s been a challenge as a supplier to try and cope with the huge additional administrative work to try and help re-organise so many couples wedding dates.
As I did state when you asked about the 2nd of your ‘Plan B’ dates, I already had another couple who were
also in the process of rescheduling their date with me and I had pencilled them in for the same date as you had enquired about. As I am sure you can understand, they needed a bit of time to work it all out before they could confirm with me. I mentioned to you that it may take a little time and you felt that by June 2020 you’d need to understandably know if the date was available to you or not.

I had hoped to be able to accomodate you in rescheduling but unfortunately I could not, I am trying my best to help couples to find alternative suppliers if I’m not available so that no-one is left without support.
My booking fee is non-refundable and is extremely reasonable at €50, I know it was 4 days before I was able to reply to you on this matter and if this caused any major problems for you then I’m very sorry.
With regard to my pricing I offer competitive rates but above all focus on the quality of my music, performance and the choice of music styles I offer my customers.

Again, I am sorry for how hard this all must be for you both, it’s a very difficult time for everyone at the moment. I wish you the very best for your wedding day in August 2021 and for the future.

Carys played the harp at our garden ceremony. She learned a number of new pieces to accommodate our requests. She is so talented and highly professional. The quality of her playing was remarked upon by many of the guests. She was a pleasure to work with!

We hired Carys for our church wedding ceremony and I can not recommend Carys enough. She was a pleasure to deal with and even helped me to organise a singer for the church aswell. I asked her for a number of specific songs which were no problem and she also helped me with filling in the rest of the songs for the mass booklet as I wasn?t sure myself how to choose the songs. The music was absolutely stunning and we were over the moon we can not thank Carys enough.

Carys played for us at our wedding on the 8th of June at Gougane Barra and afterwards at the drinks reception in the Eccles Hotel, Glengariff. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. The harp provided the perfect atmosphere in the small church and really added to our ceremony.The Metallica number was a firm favourite with the guests. We would highly recommend Carys for any event!! Gavin and Margaret!! ????????????????

Carys was absolutely brilliant, I could not recommended her enough. Having the harp playing during the ceremony and drink reception made such a lovely atmosphere. On the day it was stress free Carys just took control and moved around our venue without any fuss. Even when we couldn?t decide on songs Carys experience showed by playing the perfect songs at the perfect times. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of having a harpist.

From my first phone conversation with Carys, I knew that she was the one for us - so friendly and helpful ???? When I visited her website and listened to some of her samples I was blown away. Such a beautiful sound. Carys was so understanding and so flexible, adapting her usual wedding package to suit our needs. She had great suggestions for the style of music to play at our ceremony and everyone just adored it. Will never forget ending our ceremony to 'Here Comes the Sun' - it was just the tonic on a fairly bleak Friday in May! The music put everyone in such good spirits. Cannot speak highly enough of this very talented musician. Book her!

It was very important to me to have a harpist for my wedding day as I am harpist from NYC. Carys was the first musician that I booked for our wedding day and she was lovely and helpful from the first email. I wanted an ensemble of musicians to play for my Latin Wedding Mass at Cobh Cathedral and she helped organize the ensemble. The ceremony music was without a doubt one of the best highlights of the day for us. The music was beyond gorgeous and I owe so much of this to Carys who helped bring our dream to fruition. She is a wonderful harpist and I will never forget how beautiful the music was on our wedding day. Thank you Carys for helping make it perfect!

Carys performed at our wedding and we could not have been more pleased. We had a very small wedding (total of 9 guests) and wanted to incorporate live music. Carys helped us select the music and even was open to learning new songs that we requested. She promptly replied to all of our inquires and was a pleasure to work with.

On the day of the wedding, she arrived promptly and was very professional. I would recommend her to anyone considering a harpist for their wedding.
