Drive a Classic Car on your Wedding Day. Courtyard Classics provides a Self-Drive Classic Car Hire service which has proved particularly popular for weddings. Feedback from couples says the self-drive option adds a personal and private moment to the day and their guests love the style and surprise that this classic adds to the occasion.

Our fleet of stylish cars includes  BMW, Jaguar, MG, Morgan, Mercedes, Mini Cooper and Porsche.

Some of our Classic Cars have 4 seats so that you can ask someone to drive you if you don’t want to go the full ‘self-drive’ option.

Courtyard Classics’ friendly and professional team is ready to make choosing the right car package for your wedding effortless. From our Dublin base our cars have travelled nationwide and features of our Wedding Service include - cars can be picked up the evening before (no extra cost), additional drivers can be added, delivery/collection options, no requirement to fill cars being collected.

Having Kermit as our wedding car was one of my highlights and I wasn't expecting that! I hadn't given too much consideration to the wedding car on my day, I thought that's lad's stuff but boy did I love it! My Dad getting to drive a funky cool car (and me) to the Church and after the ceremony, my new groom and I took off for the photographs, sunny day top down. It was our private moment and it felt like we were in our own movie! I loved every bit of this car, it made my day so special and unique.

Courtyard Classics offer a beautiful selection of cars for rent and we are so thankful for being able to rent the Mercedes 350SL for our big day. Communication was A1 from the start and Bernard couldn’t have been more helpful throughout the entire process.

The car was a lovely V12 Jaguar XJS in exemplary condition. Bernard was a real gentleman to deal with. You can tell he has a real grá for the cars. The price was very competitive too.

From start to finish Bernard was fantastic to deal with. We met Bernard on two occasions prior to our wedding to look at the different cars he had and chat through the options. He was so friendly and helpful in helping us pick our wedding car. We had to change our wedding date a couple of times and Bernard was always quick to reply and the changes weren't an issue. A great option with Courtyard Classics is that you can collect the car in advance of the wedding date and we really enjoyed having the car at home the day before and being able to take some family for a spin in it. Also a great service that Courtyard Classica can collect the car from your wedding venue and it wasn't an issue that we were two hours from where Bernard is based. Everything was so straightforward and I would highly recommend booking a car with Courtyard Classics.

Incredible service, Bernard was friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with from booking to handing the keys back. The Morgan was fantastic fun. Would full-heartedly recommend renting from Courtyard Classic Cars - no wonder Bernard has so many repeat customers.

Bernard was a pleasure to deal with from day one. He helped me pick the car as it was a surprise for my husband. The whole process was super easy, the car was dropped off and collected. The car went down a treat the morning of the wedding, it was really cool! I would highly recommend Classic Courtyard Cars for your wedding.

Courtyard classic cars provide an excellent service, they drop off and collect the car and are very flexible time wise. We hired Connie (green morgan) for our wedding day and it went down a treat, all our guests loved getting a snap with the car. Bernard was really helpful with any queries we had and always very responsive to messages. We had to change date a couple of times due to covid restrictions and Bernard was so accommodating. Michael was a pleasure to deal with and helped me arrange and execute a wonderful surprise for my hubby on the morning of our wedding. His attention to detail was second to none and all arrangements were treated with professionalism and enthusiasm. The car created great excitement, both the evening before the wedding when we collected it and on the day. My dad loved driving me to the church. We took it for 2 days and drive around the lakes the next day together. It really added to the wedding and was great in the photos. I would highly recommend a self drive. Michael was so professional and reliable.

The car we received was in really great condition and it was a perfect addition to the day. The instruction given were great and there was plenty of photo opportunities for us and our guests.

We hired the cream MG for our wedding in June. It was fab in all our photos. It was in perfect condition. My dad drove me to the ceremony & it was so nice to have that time together. Micheal is a pleasure to deal with. Very nice & helpful. I would defiantly recommend Courtyard classic cars.

We were absolutely delighted to use Courtyard Classics for our wedding car. Michael was so helpful when we initially enquiried. We hired the car for two days and it was great that we were able to supply our own driver because we had a close friend drive us to and from the Church. Excellent value for money - I will continue to recommend to friends!

Michael (the proprietor) was great, he showed us his fleet of vehicles that were currently on the premises and the car we had chosen in more detail. A beautiful white MG B GT by the way. Everything was explained about the hiring, insurance and driving of the car. Michael made it so easy for us, I picked up the car the evening before and drove it home and gave it to my now father in law for the following day. After our ceremony we drove to our reception and late that evening the car was collected by Michael from the venue. No worrying about returning the car the next day. Perfect! Couldn't have asked for more.

Beautiful cars Easy to deal with and very accommodating as we changed which car we wanted just 4 days before the date having the freedom to self drive the cars made the whole weekend really special

We rented a green morris minor from Michael for our big day. From first contact to collecting the car from the venue the evening, he was fantastic and tailored the package to our needs excellently. The car had so much charm, romance and had all our guests reminiscing about their own experiences with minors over the years. I would definitely recommend courtyard classic cars to any bride and groom to be. Also, the father of the bride reverted to a child as soon as he sat in for the test drive! Thanks Michael.

We used Classic Courtyard Cars for our wedding day and couldn't recommend them enough. Michael was extremely flexible with dates/cars used and when we could drop the car back. He insisted on giving me a test drive of the car I chose which I was glad of, because as these are vintage cars, they're quite different to drive compared to modern day cars. The selection of cars available was amazing and being able to drive us to the reception on the wedding day was one of the highlights of the day!!

Michael at Courtyard Classics was a pleasure to deal with. We rented 2 cars for our big day and they were both fantastic, great conversation pieces and a lot of fun to drive. We also left some stuff in the cars which Michael was good enough to post back to us. Would recommend to anyone.

Michael was very helpful from the start. He was extremely thorough in the car pick up, going through all the important issues. The option of getting the car picked up also saved the hassle of handing it back the next day. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Service. We opted for a self drive wedding car at my (Groom) request because if I was to hire a nice car, I wanted to drive it. Michael delivered the car to Clonakilty (after doing battle with the Cork traffic), gave it a quick clean and went through the ins and out. Car was a pleasure to drive and a great touch for the wedding. It looked great in the photos and my wife just about got the dress in. We returned from the church to take some more photos at the venue then Michael took the car back to base. All details were agreed in advance and paper work was clear and straightforward. Great service and a lovely bloke.

We hired the beautiful SL for a full self-drive weekend when we got married in September. It brought a lot to our overall enjoyment of the wedding and it delivered the sense of occasion that we had aimed for. Michael from Courtyard Classics was both professional and personable for the entire experience of rental. I have plans to go back and try more of the company's fine motors.

We had a great service from courtyard classics. The car looked fab in our photos and was a real novelty on the day. Easy to drive. The car was picked up after we were finished with it and there was no hassle re: deposits etc. Very easy to deal with and quick responses by email always.

I was really impressed from the service that Michael provided us from the booking and reservation, the pick up which was efficient yet managed to preserve the appropriate excitement for hiring such a beautiful car. The car itself was utterly perfect for the wedding day and both Jemma's Dad and I were thrilled to get behind the wheel as was Jem in the passenger seat! Finally Michael picked the car up discreetly even when we weren't quite sure who had the key and everyone had had one too many gin cocktails! Cannot recommend strongly enough...

The car was hired as a surprise for my husband on the day of our wedding. The whole rental experience with Courtyard Classics could not have been easier from start to finish. I was provided a thorough overview of how things would work on the day and there were no issues at all. The option of having the car picked up from the reception added great flexibility and we didn’t have a job to do the next day. My husband was delighted with the car and one of the best memories of the day is the two of us driving away from the church to the reception with the top down and the sun shining. Would highly recommend!

Driving the white MG to our venue was one of my favourite moments of our whole wedding day. We had the car from the day before to the day after which was brilliant value. Michael was lovely to deal with and I would recommend this option to everyone!!!
