Doug played at our wedding and the entertainment was top class. Lots of guests have mentioned to me how much they enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Doug played for our Wedding Ceremony & Drinks Reception. What can I say, absolutely perfect. Doug was so easy to work with in terms of planning and suggesting which songs we had shortlisted would work together. On the day so many of our guests commented on how good Doug was. Just hoping I get to attend a wedding he's playing at so we can sit and listen to him properly!

Doug performed at our wedding ceremony and drinks reception and was absolutely amazing. Our guests have not stopped talking about his performance ever since. We had family visiting from Mexico and they have been playing Doug's songs on loop as they travel around Ireland. We had Doug for our small wedding in Cliff at Lyons. Doug played for our guests after our meal and he was just excellent - the mix of songs were perfect for so many different generations of people and we were so sad when he was finished! Doug performed during our ceremony and drinks reception in Wrights Anglers Rest last weekend. I had attended a wedding that he had performed at previously, and I knew he would be perfect for our winter wedding! His talent, professionalism, and heartfelt performances truly set the tone for the entire day.

From the moment I viewed Doug's music online I knew this was our vibe and he was singing all of our favourites songs! His voice is amazing, with the guitar Doug has such a great sound!

The choice of songs available are vast and would have something for everyone, we wanted music a little bit alternative and that represented us as a couple.

We chose songs from The Cure, The cranberries, the turtles and my bridal entrance was "I wanna hold your hand" by The Beatles, as a massive Beatles fan this song gave me goosebumps walking down the aisle, it was so special to me.

EVERYONE commented on how amazing Doug was and they were all delighted when we had Doug for the reception drinks too, we could hear our guests having a sing-song as we took photos outside, it was their very own private concert. It was great to hear such joy and an amazing atmosphere that Doug brought to our special day, it really started the day on a high.

Doug was very easy to deal with, a gentleman and all requests were accommodated for us, we were delighted with his work. We hope to be able to see him perform again as it is a real treat to hear his music. We'd highly recommend him for any wedding or occasion.

Doug sang at our wedding ceremony and reception in March 2024. He was absolutely incredible from start to finish. All of our guests commented on how amazing his voice was. He created a lovely atmosphere and upbeat vibe which is exactly what we wanted for our special day. Doug was easy to communicate with and was open to trying out song requests that were not on his song list. We would highly recommend Doug to anyone! He is so talented and a dream do work with!

We booked Doug to perform at our wedding in Mullingar this past weekend. His renditions of our chosen songs for our ceremony were very well performed, and following during the drinks reception his setlist played really well and all our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it. Doug sang so beautifully at our wedding. His music brought a romantic and warm energy to the ceremony and lots of guests commented and complimented Doug and Aisling who played violin with him. Doug was contacted by us the day before our wedding at very short notice as we had been let down by another supplier. He provided us with evening reception music. As we were having a small (Covid!) wedding of 25 socially distanced guests, we needed someone who could create an atmosphere even with a small number. Doug certainly did that and more. He is an expert at reading crowds and judging the type of music that would suit the crowd, even taking several requests. He was beyond professional and obliging and we couldn't recommend him highly enough. He made our day so special! We were lucky enough to have Doug sing at both our wedding ceremony and our drinks reception. To say that he added to our experience of the day is a huge understatement. Doug's voice (you can hear for yourself by watching his videos online) but also his reading of the room and understanding of what our guests wanted to hear was excellent. We had friends and relatives make a point of speaking to us before and after the meal to compliment the music at both points of the day. That was just the day itself, Doug was also really quick to respond to any queries and also accommodated us in learning a song specifically for our exit. I truly can't recommend him enough. If you're thinking about booking him, do it!!

My wife Kate and I hired Doug for the reception of our wedding on the bank holiday weekend in October last year in the Royal College of Physicians Ireland on Kildare Street for a Humanist ceremony. Doug was an outstanding choice and we still have guests praising him when we look back at the wedding months later. He was a crucial part in creating the brilliant atmosphere we hoped for and achieved on the day. He was a joy to deal with and we'd have no hesitation recommending him for similar events. EDIT: I had to add that his rendition of The Cranberries' 'Dreams' as my wife walked down the aisle was beautiful (as was his performance of Thin Lizzy's 'Dancing in the Moonlight')!

Of all the decisions we made and the things we selected for our wedding day, choosing Doug was by far the best. The performances were beautiful and Doug was able to read the ceremony perfectly to ensure that things kicked in and out at precisely the right moments. We had tons of compliments about him on the day and on a personal level I found him really engaged. I recall catching his eye during his performance of one of our favourite songs and it made it feel so much more personal. The entire room including our celebrant applauded each song and rightly so. Doug was so relaxed and accommodating ahead of the day, he really understood what we were going for and gave us invaluable advice about how best to achieve it. All done with minimum stress and fuss which is exactly what you need when all the planning can drive you crazy. Outstanding value too, by far the best money spent for the day. We couldn't recommend him highly enough.

We choose Doug to perform our wedding on the 26th Aug 2019. I think it says a lot that I have never left a review in my life however felt completely obliged after Doug's perfect performances at both the ceremony and drinks reception. All we can say is that you will not be disappointed and his voice is top class. Our friends and family all highlighted the music as being of the highest level.

Cannot rate Doug highly enough. We organised our wedding at home from Australia and Doug replied to any emails straight away. He answered any questions we had and had really helpful advice. We wanted a few songs that were bit different as well than the usual and Doug was more than happy to help with that for the ceremony and reception. All our guests raved about him - my one regret is we didn't get to hear more of him at the reception when we were off having photos etc! I think I actually preferred his version of some of the songs than the original artists!!!

Doug played for our wedding New Years Eve 2014, his professionalism was Exceptional, the amount of preperation work he put into our wedding was unbelievable , it was the one main feature that all of our guests complimented us on was when Doug began to sing at our entrance song , right up to when he finished at our reception drinks , everyone loved his voice, we as a couple felt he was just amazing and I could not reccomend and commend Doug enough. Heard Doug play for the first time at my sisters wedding and immediately knew that i wanted him to play at my wedding. Unbelievable voice. Made the church ceremony very special for us. Went through a whole list of suggested suitable songs for the church and helped choose the list of songs for the ceremony. Then Played a wide variety of older and newer songs at the reception in the hotel...again, he was unbelievable. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking for a male solo singer at the ceremony/reception.
