We had an engagement photoshoot with Dee and then had her for our special wedding day. She is super relaxed and made us both feel at ease instantly. She is a candid photographer which we loved because we were able to spend extra time with our friends/family while she took lovely candid snaps on the day! We also did organised family photos too. Dee Plunkett is an absolute master of her trade. Excellent communication from the outset of contacting her for our wedding photography right up until our sneak peak photos which we received far sooner than we expected. On the day Dee was impressively cool, calm and gently in control of our somewhat unruly 180 guests and the nervy bride and groom. She expertly navigated our high emotions on the morning capturing heartwarming and incredibly beautiful photos of us and our dear friends and family who were around us. We enjoyed a delightful chat on the way to our private couple photos where she cleverly improvised candids and planned photographs including surprisingly beautiful shots from a toilet break in a local pub. Couldn’t recommend DRene Plunkett Photography enough. We are overjoyed with our photographs and with her style on the day. The result of Dee’s work exceeded our wildest expectations. Dee photographed our wedding at the beginning of the month, and writing this review is so easy because she was just brilliant!
In the lead up to the day, Dee listened to all our ideas, opinions, concerns and worked around us for our timeline.
On the day, she was a really calming presence, great fun to work with, and captured some amazing moments! The weather got in the way of our original plans of taking pictures outside but Dee’s skills meant our final pictures weren’t any less special.
I am obsessed with the photos, each one brings us back and really captures the moment, I can almost hear them. We had fun taking them, there was no stress and they perfectly portrayed us and our wedding day.

Drene has a perfect balance of professionalism and friendlieness, putting everyone at ease and creating top quality, magical memories of our day. From the preparation to the ceremony and the first dance Drene captured it all with out even being noticed. We were so glad we found Dee! My wife and I planned a ten year anniversary trip to Ireland and wanted to do an informal vow renewal in Gougane Barra. Our search began eight months before our May date, trying to find a great photographer in County Cork to capture the occasion. We ended up finding an AMAZING photographer in Dee who was flexible with our time requests and made us feel at ease during the entire shoot. She requires a 3 hour minimum to book and it is absolutely worth it; she was dedicated and considerate of every minute to help capture this memory.

If you are looking for a photographer to capture a wedding, a family photo shoot, engagement, or anniversary she should be a front runner in your consideration. Dee was our photographer for our wedding in September. She was great to work with, very warm, relaxed, and professional in both the organising beforehand, and on the day itself. We were delighted with the photos we received, Dee captured some great moments throughout the day and managed to get some really good creative photos in our shoot too by a nearby lake.
