We had Ian for the whole day of our wedding (master of ceremony-singer & DJ), having watched him in action at another wedding. Ian was absolutely fantastic from the moment we first got in touch. We didn't have a wedding planner and Ian really helped us out in the run up to our wedding, answering any queries we had and meeting up with us anytime we were over. He is so down to earth and nothing was too much trouble for him. You can tell he really loves his job. All of our guests were blown away by him and his vast range of music meant everyone was up dancing for the entire night.
The guests really enjoyed his singing throughout the dinner and are still talking about him. In short, we couldn't recommend him enough! Thanks so much for all your help and for making our wedding so much craic x Jane and Darren

We would like to thank Ian Preston for his outstanding work at our wedding, the feedback which we have received from our family and all of our guests about Ian have been out of this world! there wasn't a dull moment since he began,everybody was up dancing since the moment he began, we all had an absolute ball, he's a a credit to himself and we appreciate it soo much, he is so nice and down to earth and such a great entertainer, everybody had the time of there lives thanks to him! the only criticism I can give him was that my feet hurt the next morning (ha-ha)
he was absolutely outstanding and I would recommend him strongly to anybody thinking about getting married abroad.

Can't rate Ian highly enough, from being master of ceremonies, to providing all of the sound systems needed including microphone's for the minister in a separate section of our villa, all the way to providing some light hearted entertainment but not overboard to transition from day to night.
Even went above & beyond as we needed a verse taking out of a song to make it shorter for the aisle walk, all was done with no qualms, really does put you at ease by saying don't worry about anything on the day, if there's anything extra you need just ask & I'll provide.

Ian Preston ....... one word sums him up ....... PHENOMENAL. .......... from start to finish. We chose our date around availability from Ian. All our guests loved him he got everyone involved had us all singing & dancing during our meal ..... unbelievable. He made our day so so special.

If you are thinking of getting married in Spain my one bit of advice is choose Ian Preston for all your entertainment needs! Ian did Mc, sang and DJ at our wedding recently and he is just amazing! He got to know all our guests and their style of music and made sure he had something for everyone! He is extremely professional, warm and such a pleasure to have around! His charisma and charm won over all our guests and everyone remarked on what a great job he did keeping the dancefloor full into the early hours. Ian is brilliant, he will definitely have all of your guest up dancing, he knows what to play and keeps everyone entertained. We had 100 guest at our wedding in Nerja, Spain, and all have commented how good he was. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. I?m trying to think of another reason to have a party so we can book him again. :)

All I can say was Ian was truly amazing. It was such a pleasure to have him a part of our wedding he did everything we asked for us & more. We had a small group & was a bit anxious nobody would get up to dance but Ian had everyone up dancing & our guests had a great time. I would highly recommend him to any couple getting married.

I have to say that Ian really did play such a special part on our big day - from communication and support beforehand, through to his calm nature and professionalism on arrival and he even offered to perform the ceremony after the Vicar was 45 minutes late after breaking down!! Now, if that is not support and kindness, I don't know what is.. From start to finish Ian was fantastic and I would highly recommend to any Bride and Groom out there!

I found the entertainment to be amazing, he really worked for all ages at the wedding, the kids had a ball as well as the adults, would highly recommend him for any wedding or special events.

Ian is amazing at what he does ,such a nice and polite person, absolutely brilliant very entertaining. All off our guests loved him including the children they all talked about how brilliant he was, I would 100% most definitely recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Choosing Ian as our entertainment was the best decision we ever made. Our guests were up dancing after the main course or during for some. I heard from a few afterwards that is was the best wedding they were ever at,and that was definitely down to Ian. Thank you so much

From the start we had good feeling about Ian-His package looked to be the most comprehensive a=on offer in the area. Our wedding planner suggested a few, we were able to check out plenty of YouTube videos of the kind of thing Ian does. We taught with us having a smaller wedding (42) that Ian would not suit but he but our minds at ease when we met him at the wedding showcase in the RDS. After we had chosen him both our photographer and planner mentioned how good he is claiming that we had chosen the A-Team with the three picks and that we would not be disappointed. Ian certainly knows his stuff-he joined us at the ceremony and was talking with guests at our drinks reception to get a feel for the crows and the type of music that would suit the group. He was both incredibly friendly ant the same time truly professional-throughout the day. his performance/set on the night couldn't have been better. He MC's perfectly and had us all dancing and singing. Even did a great number with myself and the best man and a couple of guitars, but I wont say too much as I wouldnt want to ruin the surprise.
All in all I cant recommend Ian high enough for a wedding on the costa-you'll be a long time looking for better and I doubt in the end that you will find better.

Ian is so professional in every aspect of his job. We had the pleasure of having Ian entertain our guests on our wedding day. He was fantastic and so helpful, got everyone up dancing, knows exactly how to work the room. All our guests commented on how great Ian was with playing different music for different tastes. I would highly recommend Ian to anyone getting married.

Ian was a fantastic addition to our wedding and we'd highly recommend him. Our wedding was held at the Mar Bella restaurant in Nerja with approx 60 guests. Ian was great at warming up the guests during the reception - so much so we were up dancing between the starter and main courses!! Tambourine playing and duelling guitars followed which were great fun. He is extremely talented as a singer and was a fantastic DJ. Ian is very professional and easy to communicate with which helped the day run smoothly and created some fantastic memories for us. Thanks Ian.

Ian was an absolute star of our day. His approach was subtle enough not take over but his professionalism meant he knew how to really add value. As the MC he helped take away the pressure of trying to remember schedules, as a singer he wowed our guests and as a DJ he catered for people of all ages. The introduction of the musical props throughout the night meant we got everyone up on the dance floor! I highly recommend Ian for anyones wedding.

Amazing dj highly reccomend!! Ian is not only a dj but a great entertainer, music choices perfect to suit all ages!! Made my husband feel relaxed before his speech!!! And got everyone on the dance floor all night long! Couldn't of got any better!

Ian Preston is, by far, the best entertainer that I have come across at any wedding I've been to! He was so in touch with what the guests wanted and, as a result, the dance floor was bursting from the start to the finish of the night. We had so much fun!

Not only was the music fantastic, however, he also sang at various points during the dinner, which really added to the atmosphere. And he involved guests and members of the wedding party in various entertaining pieces throughout the night.

Ian is an absolute professional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anybody in the future!

We got married on the 15th of May 2015 in the Sunset Beach Hotel and we got Ian Preston to Sing and DJ at the party. Ian showed up earlier than we expected and helped my best man with the organisation of the speeches.He is a very professional entertainer. Everyone was on the dance floor all night. If I was to do it all again I wouldn't change a thing.We had an amazing wedding and we will recommend Ian to anyone getting married in Spain.

Kieran and I got married in Nerja Spain nearly a year ago the 19th Oct 2014. Kerry from Celebrations in Spain was our wedding planner. She recommended Ian Preston As our entertainer for the day and WOW was he an entertainer....From the moment guests arrived to the Hotel Ian welcomed them, sang, entertained right through the meal. Once the meal was over he entertained and got the wedding guest interacting and up dancing. From start to finish Ian was amazing and we all parties into the early hours. All the guests loved him and without him our wedding day wouldn't have been the same. I would highly recommend him to any couple getting married in Spain. Kieran and I couldn't thank him enough

Having heard all the great reviews and feedback about Ian before planning my wedding in Nerja, I had hoped he was available for our wedding day in 2014. My business in Nerja is involved in the wedding industry so I was able to meet him and have a sneak peak at him at work at a few weddings and I was so impressed so did not bother to look at any other entertainment or musicians for our big day. He was sold to us!
On the day itself, he was fantastic; one major thing for us when planning our wedding was we would have hated if our guests were not enjoying themselves and people weren't in the mood to get up and dance - having been to other weddings before and the atmosphere can sometimes be a little slow to start off. You will never have this problem if you book Ian, there was not one single part of the night that our dance floor wasn't full with people dancing and having a good time. I couldn't recommend him enough.

We couldn't of asked for anyone better to entertain our guest at our wedding, Ian made the day very entertaining and professional our guests are still talking about how great he was. Highly recommended.

I can't recommend Ian Preston highly enough , an absolute gentleman from as soon as we arrived at our venue he greeted us with drinks and through out the evening he was fantastic , our wedding went off spectacularly and he played a big part in that can't thank him enough - money well spent

Ian was fantastic from beginning to end! He was our mc for the day, mingled with the guests in a professional manner & was on hand for anything the we requested throughout the day. He was very helpful during our speeches, helping the groomsmen with props. He was a fantastic dj, playing any tune we requested, nothing was too much trouble. Our guests still talk about how amazing he was, he really made our wedding day what it was. I could not praise his services enough, ours was a small wedding but the music was so good everyone danced all night! I would recommend Ian for any occasion.

Ian conversed with our guests during our cocktail hour and throughout the meal. He picked up on everyone's personalities and understood how to get the party going to perfection. He got our guests involved from the first minute and had everybody dancing, singing, playing instruments; )and had the celebrations in full flow continuously without any one feeling left out. It was like he read us all and understood us. I can't recommend Ian in the full glory i want to. He is outstanding in the field of excellence and he was definitely the icing on the cake of our perfect day.

We were lucky enough to have Ian as our Wedding entertainer 7 years ago, we had s small wedding with several children and there was something for everyone. Ian helped us a lot - it was a recession time Wedding but we couldn't have asked for more, interactive entertainment and a friendly service - our family and friends still talk about it.

Ian ticks all the boxes and will do music to suit all the guests, he can cater for all ages, tastes...he ticks the live music box, as he sings, and sings well! and also djs, so the whole package. Im the first one to say you need a band at a wedding but this was before i saw Ian do his set! You wouldnt miss a band if you book Ian, and at least with Ian you can get all the music you want - whereas with a band they can only play the songs on their set list. Ian can sing a rat pack song or galway girl one minute and go on to play a Rihanna song straight after it. Having such a wide variety of songs to sing / play is something no other musician can offer.
The best thing is he plays by ear on the night, he can judge a crowd well - play it down if he sees everyone wants to chill a bit after the meal and then big it up when they want to party. He never sticks to one play list, and can chop and change on the night, as he sees fit. He takes requests and will do as much as possible to please the guests. He is also willing to discuss the music with the couple, he can call them and go over what they want, and more importantly dont want...if there is any part of his "usual" set that they dont want, thats not a problem, he can adjust it around their wishes.
The MC from meal, swing set and dj is the best package as Ian is there from the start of the meal providing the background music, setting the scene..He introduces the speeches, puts the top table at ease, introduces the cutting of the cake and plays music for that, it all makes a huge difference.
He does the rounds of the tables chatting to everyone, asking them what music they like. He is very chatty, friendly, approachable, and by the way he works the crowd, he breaks the ice very early on, so the minute the meal is over everyone is ready to party straightaway and hit the dance floor. This is quite unique as sometimes it can take up to an hour to get people on the dance floor when its a regular band / musician who just turn up after the meal, out of the blue and start playing. That extra work that Ian puts in makes a huge difference to how the rest of the wedding day will pan out.
After the food, the music is the next most important part of the wedding day. So I always tell the couples to put in a decent budget for the music but tell them that by booking Ian for everything - they can save money, rather than booking a band / musician and DJ separate.

There is nothing more important than getting the party going at a wedding and I have genuinely never seen anyone do this better than Ian Preston. A complete professional, Ian?s attitude makes him a pleasure to work with. He gets to know the crowd and tailors his music and service to fit with their needs. His MCing is also something I really recommend; a way to keep the day flowing and guiding the couple and their guests through the day. His Swing set is always a hit for all the different generations and his DJing skills are second to none. As planners, we always look forward to a wedding that Ian is at as we know everyone is going to have a great time
