We are Jaker & Co.

In short, we’re a four-piece evening reception band, with a huge setlist and a set of charming twins to boot. We’ve been playing weddings and events for over 10 years and understand just how important it is to get everything perfect. You don’t want the same band as everyone else, right? You’ve come to the right place.

So why Jaker & Co?

Without blowing our own trumpet, we’re fun and professional, and the same age as most brides and grooms today. So we’re “your generation.”. This is where we differ from our competitors, as we know exactly what trends and songs are popular and get the dancefloor bopping, we’ll be able to advise you on the best playlist that will suit you best and please the crowd.
We’re also pretty much renowned for our people interaction and getting bodies up here, there and everywhere dancing. We’ll also take any song suggestions that you might have for the playlist prior to the day.
We've a ton of entertainment options at your disposal- from Jaker & Co, add a DJ service, or afternoon and ceremony choices, you name it- we most likely got it!

We go the extra mile to ensure your guests have the best time and you don't worry about the music..you just enjoy it.

Myself and my husband Gavin would like to sincerely thank the lads of Jaker & Co for their exceptional performance at our wedding in the Midlands Park Hotel on 16.06.2023. The lads provided a beautiful acoustic guitar set at our wedding ceremony and in the evening they delivered a stellar performance for our evening wedding reception. It was a truly magical and enjoyable experience and the dancefloor was full for the whole night. Our guests were completely blown away and full of amazing compliments for the band. There was a delay to the ceremony which did have an impact on the timings for the remainder of our day but the lads of Jaker & Co were more than accomodating with this. Once again, a sincere thank you to the lads!! We would very highly recommend!!

Now after the we’ve left the Barnabrow bubble Mike and I just want to say thank you so much to Jaker & Co and DJ for making our reception so amazingly special. Everyone was raving about it. The only complaint that we and our guests had was that our feet were swollen and legs aching because we found it too difficult to leave the dance floor ????????. It was such a wonderful happy day.

We cannot recommend Jaker & Co highly enough to perform at a wedding. They performed at ours at the Royal Marine hotel in Dun Laoghaire and had everyone up dancing the entire night. Many of our guests commented afterwards how incredible they were and that they had rarely been to a wedding where everyone was happy to dance to the band all night. The band really knew how to gauge the crowd. They even performed a fantastic rendition of a song that was requested that they had not performed before. The DJ set afterwards was also fantastic.

We had Jaker play at our wedding on July 9th in Castle Dargan. They were amazing from start to finish and our guests loved them. They knew just what to play and the dance floor was full the entire night. Many of our guests told us afterwards how much they enjoyed the band and the dj. Hi Joanna,

We booked Jaker through Joanna Music Angel during the pandemic for our postponed date and we booked them for our reception, full band and DJ. The band and manager were super friendly and accommodating all the way up to the day and on the night of the wedding, the band were unreal! Everybody was raving about Jaker & Co! We can't thank the lads enough they took all our requests on board, catered to our crowd and kept the dancefloor full. Special shoutout for the pianist during our reception who was incredible. Everything was perfect - thank you!!

Hi Joanna,

I hope you’re keeping well and have had a nice start to 2022!

I wanted to send an email to say myself, my fiancé and family went out to the Clonsilla Inn last night to see the guys for the first time and they were brilliant!! The range of songs they performed was great and we really loved the way they are with the crowd and being happy to take requests. They obviously have quite the following too. Really looking forward to the wedding now and seeing them play again, if we don’t go to see them again sooner!

We had Jaker & Co. play for our wedding and they were simply amazing!
The dancefloor was full for the entire time that they were playing. Their song choice was excellent and they changed it up depending on who was on the dancefloor...from Wheatus to Joe Dolan!
They interacted a lot with the crowd aswell which was nice and made it all the more fun.

We also had Paul DJing for us afterwards and he kept things going with some great tunes and took many requests also.

All of our guests commented on how great the band were. We never got to see the band play live before our wedding because of the pandemic so we were booking based on reviews and videos on YouTube but we were so so happy with our choice.

Joanna - thank you for your professionalism and helpfulness throughout our emails over and back. You and the guys are amazing!

The guys played our Day 2 wedding and they were AMAZING! What absolute gentlemen! So friendly, engaging and more than willing to have fun with the crowd. We couldn't have asked for a better band to make our day 2 a rousing success! Their versatility was astounding, even when a song was requested they hadn't rehearsed, they immediately began to riff how it could go and smashed an improv version of it. Couldn't reccomend them more ????????

We had the guys from Jaker & Co booked for our ceremony music and evening reception. They went above and beyond with the song choices we selected for our ceremony and played them to perfection. They also gave an amazing performance at our evening reception and had all of our guests dancing and the dancefloor full all night. The lads are so eneregetic and professional at what they do and they were a pleasure to deal with on the day. We can not recommend them enough to anyone looking for a good wedding band.

We just want to say a big thank you to Jaker & Co for playing at our Wedding. They were simply amazing and really got the party going. Their energy was incredible and they went into banging song after song ! All our guests were so impressed with them and commented how their vocals and skills were amazing. They were very good at reading the crowd and played the choons they wanted to hear. We had such a great night and enjoyed every moment-needless to say there were sore feet from dancing so much the next day! We would highly recommend them- You will not be disappointed!

From the moment they came into the function room and started to play, the atmosphere was electric and we truly had the best time dancing to their amazing setlist. The floor was packed and our hearts were full seeing our friends and family having so much fun! With everything that has happened with Covid-19 over the past year and a half, there was no better feeling than hearing live music and being on a dance floor again! Hi Joanna,

I just wanted to drop you a quick email to say thanks very much for everything. The guys were amazing, we were absolutely delighted with them, the music was fantastic from the get go.... there a lovely bunch of guys, and were so professional.
It took us ages to find a band we liked (not that easy) so we were just so happy when we found them and they were available to play at our wedding.
