After we booked our dream venue at the Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Coast, we looked around for a Wedding Photographer but we either found great candid photographers or good portrait photographers. We wanted someone who had a good blend of photojournalism and portraiture. We knew we didn?t want to pose during the ceremony, or have a photographer interrupt and ask us to ?pause? that moment, but in the same breath we knew we wanted to have nice portraits taken. We actually agreed to get two different photographers for our wedding, one to the capture the ceremony as it happens and one to take beautiful portraits of us. Then as luck would have it, we saw a friend?s album and quickly set up an appointment to meet with Josh. His work instantly blew us away, not only did he have amazing moments that he captured of the couple the way we wanted, but he also had amazing portraits of the couple. Long story short, we hired him and were over the moon when we saw the album, our emotions frozen it took us right back to the moment when we said I do! Before I forget, those portraits he took of us, were just stunning. We?re definitely not models but he made us feel and look like we were! We highly recommend Josh and his team!
