Kathryn was amazing! She really helped us all the way through up to the ceremony and even during the ceremony. She really knows how to make you and your guest feel comfortable and light even during the ceremony, which is a big help for calming the nerves! She had excellent ideas for the ceremony and was completely open to customizing and making it fit exactly to our tastes. I think Kathryn was the main reason why we felt so good about the day afterwards!

Kathryn Smith officiated at our Wedding and, on such an important day, we wished to have the best of everything....including our celebrant. We were not disappointed. Such care and attention to detail, efficiency, research, humour and solemnity, when appropriate, led to an intimate knowledge of our wishes and requirements on our special day. We couldn't have asked for more. Such a personable and easy going personality brimming with charisma and charm and Kathryn had a special word for all our guests.

I booked Kathryn to officiate at our ceremony in May 2021. I found her to be very efficient and she produced a lovely ceremony plan for us. She is methodical and detailed in her approach and very pleasant to work with, taking a great interest in our wedding and us as a couple. My partner is French and this is one of the reasons we engaged Kathryn as she will be capable of including his family and friends. We have nothing to do now but turn up!! Pat & Loic.

My daughter was meant to be christened on Sunday 27/9 but unfortunately we were cancelled due to Covid restrictions. With everything ready, caterers etc., I was in a bit of a panic so we decided to find a celebrant and go ahead with a Naming Ceremony. Within two days Kathryn Smith pulled a fabulous ceremony together, in fact it was more special than I ever expected. She included a beautiful flower ceremony and a tree planting ceremony which was lovely. Readings and music were also very appropriate and she managed to include some religious aspects for my Father. Thank you Kathryn for making our day so beautiful and for saving us at very short notice, we are eternally grateful.

We had our ceremony in Chateau Cassan Southern France. My wife is French. We were drawn to Kathryn because we met her when she was singing at a friend's wedding in Italy and we found her to be a lovely person and a fine performer. We were impressed and thrilled to discover she was also a Celebrant so we immediately booked her for our ceremony. The fact that she speaks French was a great a advantage for us as a large part of our guests were French and we wanted to include local traditions which she did with great flair while supplying translations for everything. We found her to be a sincere and elegant professional. Merci beaucoup.
We hope to renew our vows in Ireland next year and will be call on you again Kathryn DV.

I was recommended to Kathryn through a friend of mine who had been at a welcoming ceremony that Kathryn officiated at in Leeds. The daunting task was left to me as my son and his wife live in Dubai and the celebration was my gift to them. There are many celebrants here in the UK but not having experience with any, I was more than happy to bring Kathryn over to Manchester on recommendation and being Irish myself I was comfortable with this choice. After the initial online consultation, we were delighted with her approach, understanding and extreme professionalism. As the wedding was multi-cultural we had certain requests all were carried out beautifully. All present felt very much included in the ceremony which was warm, happy and very dignified. Thank you very much. Linda Bates Lynch.

We had planned to be married this year 2020, but had to cancel due to the impact of Covid 19. We had our first consultation in April 2020 with Kathryn and she produced an incredibly detailed ceremony draft that was beautifully presented and incorporating all our wishes and choices. She is a very easy person to talk to and she helped us to write our vows which means a lot to us. She showed a great understanding of our personalities and the ceremony reflects that. We are delighted with the content, our only disappointment is that we have to wait until next year for our wedding.
Response from Kathryn Smith Celebrant and Singer
Thanks Barbara and Damien, It is a shame you had to postpone but don't worry it will be all the better next year with no worries and at least everyone will be able to come, hopefully there will be no more restrictions.
I very much look forward to it.
Best Wishes Kathryn
