I have ordered from LizzieMay's three times & have two more events coming up ... I cannot praise Gail enough!! Not only is she sooo lovely to deal with, she is brilliant at designing cookies (& her cupcakes are delicious too) Absolutely amazing xxxxx

Thank you so much for the beautiful wedding cake. It was stunning and unforgettable. You were a joy to work with and the end result was just as delicious as it was beautiful. You are extremely talented and I would highly recommend you to any couple that are planning their big day.

The first time I saw your cookies was a delivery in my work place for a 1 year old birthday. They were so big and so beautifully decorated and they were so nicely and neatly wrapped. I could not stop looking at them and it really cheered up my day! I was so pleased when you accepted to make 100 cookies for my wedding with every one of my guests names. It must have been so much work! Thank you so much for your advice on the design and your suggestions, especially for the kids cookies. I loved the stars, and the kids loved them! It was cute to watch them eat their cookie! It was such a nice touch to have the bride and groom design also. I had that cookie the next day and I really thought they were delicious. I cannot thank you enough because it was such a nice and original idea for a place mat / favour and the design looked really classy and streamline. Plus, of course, the delivery to France and the timeliness of delivery show how professional you have been. I have to say, this was the most exciting and stress free part of the wedding organisation because you were so lovely to deal with and I trusted you entirely as I had seen your creations before and how well wrapped the cookies had been.

I have the highest of praise for Gail at LizzieMay's. She was recommended to myself and my husband by a friend of my sister. From the start I was confident we were in safe hands, anybody who invites strangers to their home to eat yummy cake has to be wonderful surely? Initially I would have described myself as a bride who 'wasn't that into wedding cakes'. Cakes in general most certainly but wedding cakes I was kind of unsure. Yet I was marrying a man who proclaimed 'you can't have a wedding and not have cake!!!' So very quickly my cake opinions formed. We were aware from both sets of parents that you had to have a fruit layer. Neither of our favourites but some things are easier for a quiet life. Anyway for ourselves we decided on, retro and all as they are; a lemony cake inspired by lemon meringue and a chocolate cherry layer like Black Forest gateaux. For the design I wanted simple, simple, simple. So the top tier had scattered dots, the middle tier had a row of small hearts and the bottom tier had a pleated effect. As Gail is a cake designer she also offered us more elaborate ideas which would show off her wonderful talents more, yet she listened intently to our ideas and together our cake took shape. For me the best part of Gail's service was that she delivered our cake. One less thing for us to worry about in the days before the wedding. Personally I would not have the patience to drive over an hour with a cake in the back of the car. Gail takes things in her stride. Two days before the big day I emailed her asking if I needed a cake topper or not. She was back to me in moments respecting the bride who wanted the simple cake saying that no cake topper would be necessary, the cake was fabulous on its own or if I wished she could make little cookie lovebirds for the top. They were adorable. And oh so tasty. Gail is a true professional, confident, creative and easy going. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her. However it's not just about Gail. As we all know the proof of the cake is in the eating!
