Make up by Yvonne

Yvonne was an absolute joy to have as our make-up artist from start to finish! From my first trial all the way to the big day, she put me at ease and made me feel gorgeous. I don't usually wear make-up, and as such I was worried about finding a look that would suit me, but I didn't need to worry at all because Yvonne was fantastic! She absolutely understood what would make me look my best, and I was so happy with the complete look. She also did my bridesmaids, Mam, and mother-in-law, and everyone was so pleased with how they looked on the day! Yvonne is also great fun to have around, and we all really enjoyed getting ready with her in the morning. She'll be doing my friend's wedding next year as well, and I look forward to getting dolled up by her again then!

I would hope that every bride would be as lucky as I was to have Yvonne there on the morning of her wedding. Undoubtably she is an amazing make up artist, who listens to what you want and delivers on the day. But she is also like the best friend you wish you always had, minding and taking care of you on what is one of the biggest days of your life. My whole wedding party fell in love with her and we all declared that life would be complete if we could have Yvonne with us every day to 'make' us ready for each and every Moment life has to offer. She is amazing!

Yvonne is a make-up wizard and a total delight to work with. Lucky for several of my friends and family- my sister spotted Yvonne's extraordinary talents back when she was the Rose of Tralee. This started a special friendship that included many events: my sister's wedding, our cousins wedding and my own wedding this past May- to name a few. As a make-up obsessed girl, I continue to marvel at the special magic Yvonne has- no matter the skin, hair, eye color or the age of the girl, you will all coming out looking red carpet ready. We were all laughing at how crazy the transformation was-- was as if we never truly wore make-up before! Yvonne is a truly passionate artist who is fast, thorough and really really easy to work with. Apart from the obvious talent, what makes Yvonne even more unique is her patience and willingness to help out. There were several emails, international phone calls, crazy wedding mornings throughout the years and Yvonne was always totally laid back and willing to do anything to make the day go easier. I cannot possibly recommend her higher!

What can I say about Yvonne she is Truly Amazing at what she does. I can't highly recommend her enough to any Bride to Be. She made me and my bridal party feel like a million dollars. She is flawless at her work. Such a perfectionist yet did our make up with such ease and calmness. She was a pleasure to have in my house on the morning of my wedding April 13. I felt and got the wow factor on my wedding day thanks to Yvonne. So many people complimented my make up. I could not have asked for a better make-up artist on my wedding day than Yvonne. She arrived in the midst of chaos and was an oasis of calm. She made each and every one of my bridesmaids look absolutely stunning and their make-up lasted all day and into the wee hours of the night. I absolutely loved my make-up and Yvonne was careful to look at my dress, look at the bridesmaid dresses to get an idea of the type of look I was going for and picked the best products to suit my skin and colouring and the result was amazing and looking back at the video message I left on our wedding video booth at 6am my make-up was still absolutely perfect. In addition Yvonne recommended that I buy in advance of my big day a particular lip-stick, lip gloss and powder to keep with me and to this day these have become essential items in my make-up bag. Yvonne also did my mother and mother-in-law's make up who would each have very different skin and preferences and both were thrilled with the results which was also very important for me. Also when disaster struck and the nail appointment that my mother had made was not honoured Yvonne very kindly offered to do my mother's nails for her in the middle of doing make up for me, my 4 bridesmaids, my mother-in-law and mother! Never once did she seem like she was under pressure or that time was tight she breezed through everything leaving me completely at ease. She also stayed at my house doing re-touches until I left for the church to ensure that my look was absolutely perfect, she is a perfectionist which is what you want on your wedding day. To top it all off she also did my make-up for my re-shoot (after my honeymoon) for free and in her own home. Yvonne goes above and beyond what is expected and the results of her work is amazing and I will be recommending her to all of my friends!
