I’m a wedding photographer based in West Wicklow, photographing weddings all across Ireland, and my approach is simple: tell the full story of your day in a natural, relaxed, and honest way.
From the quiet moments of morning preparations right through to the first dance, I focus on capturing how your wedding feels, not just how it looks. I work in an unobtrusive, documentary style for most of the day, always watching for those spontaneous, in-between moments that often mean the most. At the same time, I’ll gently guide you through relaxed portraits and group photos so you have a complete, beautifully balanced collection of images.
Before your wedding, we’ll meet and chat through what matters most to you. On the day itself, my calm presence helps you relax and enjoy every moment—but behind the scenes I’m working constantly to make sure nothing is missed. My goal is to give you total peace of mind, knowing your memories are in safe hands.
All wedding packages include a USB in a beautiful presentation box with every image ready to print. You’ll also receive around 20 photos on the night of your wedding via WhatsApp, so you can relive the day straight away. Albums are delivered in 4–5 weeks, with you fully in control of image selection.

Matt was absolutely fantastic to deal with from start to finish, he was so accommodating , professional and responsive, Matt placed emphasis on building a rapport with myself and Jamie through phone conversations and messages prior to the big day which made me feel so comfortable and calm in his presence on the morning of my wedding, Matt was bubbly and full of chat helping to calm any nerves! His photography skills are outstanding and every picture captured exactly the feelings we had on the day. He did not miss anything and got every special moment we requested and more, we were delighted and privileged to have Matt as our wedding photographer I would highly recommend him.

Matt was great, very easy to work with. Nothing was a hassle. I wanted someone who would just get the natural shots of guests and nothing too posed. We were so lucky to get Matt he looked after us from the start, he took pictures of my husband the morning of the wedding also. The pictures that he creates are magical, we got a beautiful sunset picture that he took the extra time to make us do , and it was amazing, he looked after every single person at the wedding and for our church picture it was incredible the lengths he went to, to get it spot on, he knew how special the church was to us and he nailed it. Matt was incredible from start to finish. Met with us before the wedding to talk through the plan for the day. He was so professional without being pushy, all my other service providers said the same that he was so kind and professional. His photos turnout incredible. We were so lucky to have Matt as our wedding photographer on the 12th of July. From start to finish, he was exceptional. We couldnt fault his communication with us and he is unbelievably efficient! He captured every moment we wanted and more! He was very professional and with it being the hottest day of the year he didn't let it stop him. He went to both our homes in the morning and stayed with us until the first dance and we can't thank him enough for all of his hard work on our wedding day! He created a beautiful signed picture frame from the guests and we received some photos to our phone all on the wedding day! After the wedding, Matt continued to send us a selection of the photographs and we received the usb stick of all photos within 3 weeks! Matt was absolutely amazing to deal with from the initial phone call to the day itself and afterwards. He went over and beyond on the day and made us feel so comfortable. He thought of pictures we didn't even think of and he even stayed on later than expected as he wanted to capture a photo of us under the light arch once it got dark outside which was absolutely amazing and we are delighted. He was very quick with getting our photos back to us and he even sent us a few on the day that we could include in a video we were displaying to our night guests that weren't there on the day. Do not hesitate to book Matt he really is great at what he does and his photography is amazing.

Matt was a gentleman to deal with from rhe start and his attention to detail was brilliant. Such a quick turnaround receiving some photos via WhatsApp by dinnertime on the day and the USB posted within 3weeks afterwards. He was a pleasure to be around and the beautiful framed photo of us from the church that was in our bridal suite at the end of the night was such a special touch. We received our album exactly 2 months from our wedding date and it was more than I had expected. Stunning quality and beautifully put together. We have some wonderful memories to look back on captured by Matt. We cant thank him enough

Matt was absolutely a brilliant photographer on our wedding day. He has recently won wedding photographer of the year as well and I can see why. Matt has a brilliant package with a videographer and they were a great duo. I even got drone footage of both my hometown and outside Trim Castle where we got married. I explained to Matt that I didn't want to be hours doing photos as I know many bridal parties are away from the big day so I only wanted to spend one hour doing all the family portraits on both sides + all outside imagery. Matt was very professional and was with us in both the groom and brides location from the morning to the first day. As well as that, Matt sends you imagery on the wedding day for you to share on socials (often brides are left waiting ages for this). We also received a beautiful wedding album in a lovely box where we could have full control in terms of what was printed. Matt is a 5 star photographer who's been doing this for years. Would highly recommend.

We had Matt photograph our wedding and he was wonderful to deal with. The photos and album look amazing. He even provided photos to my mobile during the day and he made a beautiful photo frame signed by our guests and had it left to the bridal suite for us.

Matt was beyond superb on our wedding day. He arrived to the hotel over 2 and a half hours before the ceremony. Matt spent that time scouting the premises for post ceremony photo locations and going between my room and my wife's.
He was so.proactive during the ceremony in a 'hidden' way and the photos from the church were incredible.
When we got back to the hotel his prior scouting had us in some idyllic settings and the resultant pictures reflect that.
Matt stayed until after the first dance and by the time he left I think everyone knew him!!!!! He got pictures of everyone and the 'catching the moment' pictures are superb. Matt sees something happening before it occurs and the joy we had reviewing the pictures was huge.
Matt is a gentleman and we were so fortunate to have him capture our day.

We would highly recommend Matt as a wedding photographer, he fitted seamlessly into the day. Communication was amazing in the planning, on the day and aftewards. We received some photos the day of the wedding and the rest within a few weeks! We really appreciated that the the work was completed in the time frame He set out, as we know many other couples that waited months and months to see their Wedding photos with other photographers.

We met Matt at a wedding show and so grateful we did! He provided everything and more in terms of our pictures and even helped arranging our videographer. Matt was patient with me on the day but made sure every picture was taken and I’m so glad he did. We can’t thank him enough. I really can't recommend him enough. He knew exactly what he was doing and he just made his side of things so effortless. We never had to worry about him once and the pictures he got were just amazing.
Genuinely don't be afraid to contact him and enquire about your own wedding. He's very insightful and I promise you he'll be the easiest part of your wedding day.
He does a really lovely signed photo frame of your wedding day that all your guests sign and we absolutely adore it. It hangs dead centre on our wedding day wall.

Matt was extremely professional yet personable throughout the whole process! He helped us prepare for our wedding photos by working with our timeline of events, and called us several times to finalise this plan. Matt visited the venue for our couple photoshoot to recommend locations for the perfect shots. This was extremely helpful on the wedding day, as we felt he had a clear plan and had everything under control, which took pressure of us. The photoshoots with Matt were incredibly fun, and all our guests had great reviews. We're thrilled with the signed photo frame with a picture we got on the day. Matt was fantastic at our wedding. Captured every special moment, so we could relive our day through the photos. He did so well at getting photos of all families together, and had such a creative eye when it came for photos. He met me before the wedding to talk through plans for the shots, very dedicated. Matt was brilliant from start to finish. From the beginning he was extremely contactable and put us at ease. He's friendly but professional and was great craic to have around throughout our wedding. Could not recommend Matt enough. He went above and beyond for not just myself and my husband but the whole family, he even went above his job and went and bought a sewing kit to repair my veil! Hands down the best photography I have seen for quality and value! One thing that stands out the most besides his work was he isn't one bit pushy! He captured every moment that we will cherish forever ??

Matt was amazing throughout our entire day, morning right through to late evening. He was everywhere but so discreet we barely noticed him there. I spent months searching for the perfect photographer and we hit the jackpot with Matt. In all the photographers we spoke to and received emails from, none of them provided near what Matt offered. To top it all off, we had our photos back in just a few days and our full USB album much quicker than we would have ever expected.

Matt was great throughout the whole wedding process. We met in person shortly after booking so we could view the wedding venue and get an idea of the photos we could get on the day. He was always very responsive to emails and helpful with any queries we had. On the day, he fitted in so well and made such an effort with friends and family. He made everyone feel at ease getting their photos taken. He was there from getting ready in our houses to the first dance and captured everything brilliantly. We got back some photos on the day of our wedding - sent to our whattsapp so we could access easily. He also gave us a picture in a frame on the day that all our guests had signed - this was such a lovely momento. Even after the wedding, he was so efficient- we had all our photos sent to us on a USB. This was done before we were back from our honeymoon! We could then pick with Matt which photos we wanted in our wedding album - this came very quickly too. Would definitely recommend to a friend based on his beautiful photos, professionalism and kindness!

We had matt as our photographer on our wedding day, we found him excellent to work with. He was really easy to talk to, listened to our needs and came up with great ideas for picture opportunities. He was very responsive to communication both pre and post wedding and was excellent value for money. 5 starts across the board.

He was so attentive to what I wanted and after the structured pictures you?d barely know he was there he got fabulous pictures of the reception and the ceremony/family pictures are stunning.
He took our new favourite picture together now.

Matt was great from the first day we made contact about our wedding and a pleasure to have around on your wedding day. We even got photos back on the day and a beautiful frame signed by our guests. Would highly recommend to any couple looking for a photographer for your wedding day.

Matt was amazing! We got a great first impression when we initially met Matt over a year in advance of our Wedding and he left no stone unturned. By bringing us through previous work he had done and bringing us around the hotel, showing us where the different photo locations would be really gave us comfort in choosing Matt and he delivered great results. Everything worked out amazingly and he captured all of the key photos we wanted and more! The framed photo which was signed by our guests on the day and how quickly we recieved soft copy's of the photos was fantastic.

Matt, was brilliant from start to finished. A few weeks before the day we met up to have a walk around the venue and a nearby location for best spots for photos, he showed us a sample of the album we would receive and the usb stick. On the wedding day Matt was excellent, completely professional and caught the most beautiful pictures! From getting ready to fireworks and a sparkler exit we have all the photos you could ask for! Without a doubt I would recommend Matt!

We would totally recommend Matt. From the get go he was very responsive and was available for a call whenever I had a query. On the day he was so nice and so easy to work with. We all had a bit a craic with him too. The photos came out so so nice, he sent us some photos very soon after he took them and then we received all the photos a few days later.

Matt was easy to get in touch with and punctual throughout the whole process, he was at our wedding from early on to capture the brides makeup ect, and didn't stop from then on.. we had a large family with some younger kids who where more than a handful on the day and he managed to capture everyone beautifully. He also was great with getting our guests to participate in photos and had some great ideas. He really was so professional, friendly , and stayed right to the last dance , without slowing down once .We also received our photos really quickly which was great. We could not recommend Matt enough for value and quality.

Living in the West, we had planned our wedding in less than 6 months. We were researching photographers. Looking at Matts website and portfolio, we thought his photography had a lovely finish. Living in the West was no issue at all. We were in constant touch with Matt. He arranged to meet us before the wedding to look at the scenery we were thinking for our shots.
On the day, he was so particular with our shots. This really made our wedding album shine. Our album came beautifully presented with usb key. We had it very quickly after our wedding. We would recommend Matt to our family and friends for any memorable occasions. We were very fortunate in our time frame Matt was available for our wedding day. The service and professionalism was top class.

Matt was very friendly and professional from our first phone call to the day of our wedding. Met us before the wedding to visit the hotel and get a feel of what photographs we were looking for. On the day he put us all at ease . We received a lovely photo in a frame for our guests to sign on the day as well as photos of the day on the day. He entertained us while he was taking the photos. Matt was fantastic! He met us beforehand to look at the location for our photos as well as the hotel to get ideas of photos and even went back himself to pick out places. He was really friendly yet very professional and worked so hard all day. Everyone commented on how great he was! We got a good mix of posed and candid photos. He was very willing to get whatever photos we asked for as well as having great ideas himself. He was very considerate of other people such as checking on our grandparents who had been standing in the sun during the photos. He went around to each table during the dinner and got people to sign a frame for us, he printed a photo out during the dinner to put in this frame so we got it on the day. He also sent us 15 photos to our phones that evening so we would have some nice pictures. He is very efficient, we got a link to all the photos online only 5 days after the wedding as well as a USB stick of them in the post. We would highly recommend Matt to any couple.

We would highly recommend Matt as a wedding photographer, especially to anyone getting married in BrookLodge because meeting up before the wedding was so easy to arrange. Matt was friendly, personable, and put everyone at ease.
We had an intimate family wedding and Matt just blended in with our small party, made us laugh and captured lots of special moments. A bonus was Matt providing us with a small selection of professional photos on the day, on Whatsapp, that we could easily share with family and friends who weren't there. Since we were having a small wedding, we wanted people to feel part of it in some way. We?re still completely happy with the very first pictures we shared in messages and on social media.
The whole process was relaxed and enjoyable and we are delighted with the final set of photos. Captured in lovely settings, with beautiful light, vibrant colours, and expressions of happiness, they are a joy to look at.
