Miriam is an award winning goldsmith and jewellery designer from Westmeath, she studied jewellery and goldsmithing for seven years in both NCAD and with The Design and Crafts Council of Ireland on their jewellery and goldsmithing skills course. With her experience working for several diamond and jewellery companies, Miriam has vast expertise in many jewellery techniques and has amast a diverse portfolio of commissions. With a design degree from NCAD, Miriam will work with you and your spouse-to-be (or just you, if it is for a surprise engagement ring) to develop ideas and inspiration with you into fully fledged, highly personal and completely unique design.
From here following visual design approval Miriam will, using any contemporary or traditional goldsmithing techniques, craft your ring(s) from your chosen precious metal and can also provide graded and certified diamonds.

My fianc? and I were looking to create a unique engagement ring and came across Miriam through her Instagram page. We had been shopping around but couldn't quite find something we both loved. From beginning to delivery, Miriam was fantastic to work with, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. She was attentive to what my fianc? was looking for, was clear in pricing and expectations, and was able to deliver ahead of our move to the US. She helped guide the process while allowing us creative freedom to explore different ideas before finally settling on our ring. When we decide to finally tie the knot, Miriam will be our first choice in terms of crafting something together.

If I could give more than the stars in this review I would. Miriam is fantastic at her craft. I found her to be very good at the more delicate kind of work regarding ring making aswell which I had found difficult to find. She created both myself and my now wife's wedding bands- both completely different and unique. My ring was a very deep C curve with diamonds either side and engraving in the curve and a sentimental piece of engraving on the back. Beautifully executed. My wife's was a ring with a twist in the centre and a little dip- again beautiful. Both hug our engagement rings perfectly and mine is so well fit that it no longer moves on my hand which is amazing. After a number of video calls, phone calls, emails and messaging she helped us realise what we wanted to go for, and was extremely patient through the entire process. As someone who has just married and am feeling the little lull after the wedding process, there is nothing as nice as looking down at your hand, to a piece of art that has been handcrafted especially for you. I love it so so much and is something I will treasure forever. Well worth every penny. Thanks again Miriam, we will be back again( next time maybe for eternity rings )An absolute pleasure to work with.

Miriam has worked with us over the past 2 years to create the most stunning engagement ring and wedding ring for me. At the start when I was overwhelmed with all the design ideas I had for the ring, Miriam put me at ease straight away and was able to literally bring my ideas to life with ease... she is so talented in her craft and was an absolute pleasure to work with. We always felt secure in the knowledge that she was doing the right thing by us which was so important to us.
She listened attentively and gently guided us when she knew certain ideas were not the best way to do it which again showed her experience and skill.
I also got her to make some custom gifts for the groom and his son and they turned out fab too.

Miriam created both mine and my husbands wedding rings. We couldn't have asked for better service right from the beginning to the very end.
Miriam created multiple designs based on ideas we liked. Anything we needed changed or answered was not a hassle. She met up with us and spent plenty of time with us to get to know us and discuss what we were think.
Miriam not only created fantastic rings, but also gave well needed wedding advice and honeymoon advice. She really helped setlle my nerves.

From beginning to end Miriam was a pleasure to deal with. I had something very unique and quite specific in mind. Other providers were reluctant to deal with my dream to create a bespoke engagement ring incorporating a feature size pearl. From the first call, Miriam was encouraging and pragmatic about what was possible. Bearing in mind, most of our interactions were during the Covid lockdowns (various stages), I still felt I had Miriam on speed dial, advising and encouraging every step of the way. My pearl engagement ring was phase 1 - Miriam also created a bespoke wedding band made of the same red gold, which now brings my pearl to life, framing it beautifully.
I can honestly not recommend Miriam enough, in terms of both professionalism and creativity. She devised graphics and visuals when I could not visualize an idea. She gave me space and encouragement to make up my mind during the design process.
Cost-wise I found the process far more cost effective and satisfactory than buying over the counter. I feel connected to my pieces in a very special way (2 x rings, earrings & pendant) as Miriam and I brought them to life in a lovely collaborative relationship over the months. I have such a lovely story to go with each piece and this is all due to Miriam's personal touch.

Miriam is absolutely amazing at what she does. So professional to deal with and made our wedding rings even better than we could have ever imagined. What I thought I wanted when we first met wasn't what I wanted in the end. And nothing I asked Miriam to do was too much at all. She is so lovely and kind and wonderful at her job. I asked her to put some gold from my moms ring which I thought was a bit risky but Miriam did it so perfectly. We cannot recommend Miriam enough. My engagement ring was my Husbands Grandmothers. When we started our search for wedding rings, I wanted a ring that sat next to my engagement ring perfectly and Miriam made me the perfect wedding ring. She even matched the platinum and rosegold in my engagement ring.
For my husbands ring, Miriam customised his Dad's wedding ring which he wanted to use for sentimental reasons.

I came across Miriam on instagram and fell in love with her work! We were not sure as to what exactly we wanted but we knew what we didn't want. She got to know us a couple and got a feel for what we were looking for. Miriam created my engagement ring. I had an idea in mind of what I wanted and she managed to put it on paper and sent me a few different styles as I couldn't make my mind up. She was very professional through the whole design process, No idea was too big or too small. She managed to keep within my budget. I felt Miriam was just as excited as I was to create my ring. I absolutely adore it! We'd set a date for the engagement party and Miriam was able to create my engagement ring for that date.

Miriam is simply excellent at what she does. I didn't have an engagement ring so I wanted something a bit more special for the wedding ring, and Miriam was happy to oblige. My husband was reluctant at first to get a custom ring as he wasn't sure what he wanted - we had never even tried on rings, and he doesn't usually wear jewelry. Miriam walked us through the process from start to finish, designing styles that suited us, taking our feedback into consideration, advising on materials to suit our lifestyles. The rings are so beautiful and unique. I loved the rings so much I also got Miriam to design matching earrings! Working with Miriam was one of the best decisions I made during the wedding planning, and I'm honestly only looking for another excuse to work with her again.

I contacted Miriam about making personalised cufflinks for my husband for our wedding day.I gave her some ideas beforehand of what I would like.
She sent some ideas to me through email and when I met her, her design didn't fail. They was amazing.
I then got in contact with her again about making our wedding ring bands. She was so good, brought lots of ideas to the table. She sat with both of us, went through different types of styles, thickness of bands, finishes and inscriptions.
We got to try on a wax mould of our rings,to ensure that we were happy with the sizes and thickness of them.
We were able to discuss budget with her and she made us feel so at ease.
When we collected our wedding ring bands, they were perfect. Simply beautiful.
Miriam was so professional, chatty, she listened to what we wanted and never pushed us in any way. We couldn't recommend her enough.
Oh and my husband LOVED his cufflinks and wore them on the wedding day.

Miriam was caring, friendly and professional throughout the whole process, communication was on another level! We were constantly updated and meeted frequently for seeing each stage of our bespoke rings and sizing, it was really something special.
We didn't have a worry in the world, trust was 100% and the rings were ready in plenty of time.

Miriam made both our wedding bands and a set of ear rings for our wedding. The brides ring needed to be a special shape because of the engagement ring. This was not a problem at all, because Miriam made personal rings for both the groom and bride with lots of feedback and interaction and listened closely to what we wanted. After my husband worked with Miriam to design what I can only describe as the most beautiful ring for my engagement ring I couldn't see myself working with anyone else on my wedding ring. I loved my engagement ring so much I only wanted something small but quirky that enhanced the show stopper that is my engagement ring. Miriam worked through my ideas with me, sat with me as she put my thoughts onto paper and designed the plan for my wedding ring. It turned out so beautiful. I love them both so much. Miriam is a dream to work with. Taking everything into consideration from time lengths and budget. Neither myself or my husband exceeded our planned budget for our wedding rings. Top notch designer, maker and business woman. Couldn't recommend highly enough!!

Miriam Wade designed and made both our wedding rings in the lead up to our wedding. We had never requested someone to design and make something for us before so we did not know what to expect; but from start to finish we were blown away by Miriam's professionalism, passion and dedication to designing us the perfect rings we wanted. From our early stages of ideas she listened, sketched and planned a massive range of initial designs to gauge our tastes and styles. She then adapted and refined the designs as we went through the different stages and in the end she gave us the most beautiful rings that felt so personal and unique to us. We were living abroad during the whole process but this was not an issue at all as Miriam found creative ways to send ring sizes and designs to us. She was incredibly kind and flexible with her time and it was an absolute pleasure working with Miriam. Everybody I meet is always asking about my ring and wanting to look at it closer, they are always so impressed when they hear about it being a bespoke design! My wedding pendant came from Miriam and i absolutely love it - it gave me huge pleasure to wear it on the wedding day and almost every day since. We came across Miriam and her beautiful work by chance and were struck straight away by how delicate and elegant her designs are. Miriam was lovely and very helpful gshe spent time making sure I had the exact length of chain I wanted for the pendant and was more than patient as I tried to decide. I've since gone back to buy a pair of earrings from her to match the pendant, as her work is so beautiful!

I first contacted Miriam in early 2015 to help me design an engagement ring for my wife to be. During the whole process she was unbelievably helpful. It really felt like a creative team effort, I sent her some pictures of rings that I liked, gave her a rough description of the idea I pictured in my mind and from there she sent me many sketches (all beautiful), we narrowed those down to a few favourites and then she made wax mocks of them (which was so helpful for visualising the finished result). Once we had picked the final design she helped me in picking the best stones and metals for my budget and for the style of the ring.
The ring turned out far beyond what I could have imagined and I (and my wife) couldn't be happier with it. I was so happy that I decided to ask Miriam to design our wedding bands also. Since my wives engagement ring was so bespoke it was no small task to design a ring that was both beautiful on it's own and which didn't compete when worn with the engagement ring but this was no problem for Miriam who quickly came up with a simply elegant design.
Miriam is truly talented and a wonderful person to work with, she is warm and friendly, generous with her time, perfectly professional and I cannot recommend her enough.
I have since recommended her to friends and family of whom many have commissioned her for their wedding rings and Christmas gifts.

Miriam is the most passionate and talented designer I have ever met. You can tell that she puts her heart and soul into her work and that it is more than just a job for her. She designed both my engagement and wedding rings, which I lovingly wear everyday.
Being someone who never wore jewellery before this, it was really important that the rings felt like ?me? and suited my personality. Miriam truely got this and really made sure that I was 110% happy them. The two rings are so beautiful and unique and I am always so proud to wear them.
I recommend Miriam to anyone who wants exceptional 5 star service and a really special piece of jewellery.
