I received Moathill photography as a recommendation from a work colleague who's photo's I saw and absolutely loved. The candid nature and beautiful editing was exactly what we were looking for. I reached out to Paul who came back to me really quickly and asked to set up a Zoom call with myself and Niall which was a really lovely way to break the ice and learn how everything would go on the day. We ended up going with the package with two photographers and Paul also did video for us as well. From the moment they arrived on the wedding morning, we were put so at ease with both Paul and Elaine balancing being present and giving great direction with blending into the background and capturing some really amazing 'in the moment' shots. As well as being total professionals, we really enjoyed their company and they made us feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera! We received the photos back and were over the moon with how they turned out, I got emotional going through all the photos and reliving the day as they perfectly captured what the day was to us, truly magical and memorable. I couldn't recommend Moathill enough to any couple currently looking for a wedding photographer, they are amazing!!!

Paul of Moat Hill Photography photographed our wedding at Barberstown Castle, and we are so happy with both the experience and the photos.
We planned our wedding in Ireland from the United States, and Paul made everything feel easy from the start. He was calm, friendly, and so easy to talk to, which made a huge difference for me because I usually hate having my photo taken. He never felt intrusive or overly staged, but he still captured so many beautiful moments throughout the day.
The final gallery was wonderful. We received so many photos, and I loved that we had both color and black and white versions to choose from. The photos feel natural, thoughtful, and really true to the day. He also created a short photo montage video, which was such a lovely way to look back on everything and share the day with family.
Paul genuinely felt like part of the group in the best way. He was relaxed, kind, and fun to have around, and by the end of the day it felt like he could have made the wedding guest list himself.
We are so grateful and would absolutely recommend Moat Hill Photography to anyone looking for beautiful wedding photos and a photographer who makes the whole experience feel easy.

My husband and I would HIGHLY recommend choosing Moat Hill as your wedding photographers. Paul was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. He and Elaine made the entire process so easy for us. Communicating with them during booking and planning was a breeze. Despite us planning a destination wedding from another country, communication was never a problem! The team was always very quick and thorough when responding to our emails/getting in touch with us.
On the day of the wedding we worked with Paul and Ryan. They were fun, professional and made everyone feel relaxed. All of our family and friends loved them. They kept everyone smiling during our getting ready and family pictures. Throughout the entire day they managed to find the perfect balance between getting us all to laugh and smile for photos, and hiding in the background to capture beautiful candid moments.
We could not have been happier with the final results. The gallery set up was so stunning, and all of the photos came out better than I could have imagined! The slideshow was also such a nice touch!! Seeing all of the special memories and candid moments that they captured brought us to tears. We really cant say enough about Moat Hill!! ♥️

His talent is unmatched, and he is truly one of the kindest souls we have ever met. We were lucky to do an engagement shoot with him as well as our wedding and only wish we had more events to have him document.
Gorgeous shots, edits, and he made everyone feel totally comfortable. The value for the product he returns is incredible. An absolute gift!

Paul, during the organising of my event, dealt with every query in a professional and helpful manner aswell as meeting me on location to discuss the running order of the day. On the day, Paul and Elaine were so much fun to be around and kept everyone relaxed and happy during the preparations and during the day. The moments that were captured unexpected were truly beautiful and I love every shot that was taken.
