I always dreamed of having a harpist play at our wedding, and Ramona made that dream come true. She played for our guests for over an hour before the ceremony started and then throughout. I booked Ramona for my cousin's wedding reception which took place in June of this year (2018) in the beautiful surroundings of Markree Castle, Co. Sligo, and I would highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding! Ramona plays the harp so beautifully and joyfully, and was a total pleasure to deal with from the time of my initial enquiry right through to the wedding day itself. There was no stress or fuss when talking to Ramona - she is so experienced and knows what might work best for the place and the occasion, and she can suggest items if you are looking for inspiration or guidance. I actually just gave her a general guide of something cheerful and upbeat,and she thoughtfully checked if there was any particular song that would be special to the bride and groom that she could play. In the end, she played a perfect mix of popular Irish folk songs, film music, some beautiful classical themes, some music from The Beatles, and much, much more. Guests were wonderfully entertained for those few hours before dinner was served, and little children were enthralled by the harp. One little 3-year old was so inspired by Ramona that she wanted a little harp of her own to play on so that she could be just like her - it was so sweet! It really made for wonderful memories and added a magical atmosphere to the reception. And Ramona herself was so delightful and helpful through all the planning and the day itself. As you can tell from all that written, I have no regrets. Ramona is a total professional, and I am very happy indeed to recommend her to anyone planning a wedding around the country. She is 100% the real deal, and I would love to book her again, absolutely. Thank you, Ramona, so much for helping to make my cousin's wedding so very special indeed!!
