You guys kept the guests on the floor all night and they were raving about ye all night.
The tunes, the singing, the sax, the background instruments, the dj was all just incredible and really made our night so special.

Your initial booking with us which was confirmed on the 24th of October 2023 for your wedding on the 8th of December 2023 was duly noted and prepared for, but when you cancelled on the 3rd of November, about 5 weeks out from your wedding day, we had to adjust our plans accordingly. We were then faced with a challenging situation when you approached us again on the 8th of November, seeking to rebook for your wedding just 4 weeks out from your date.
With only a month's notice during the high season for weddings, fulfilling such a request became significantly difficult.
In our industry, it's quite common for couples to book their wedding band up to two years in advance, especially for dates in December and the summer months, which are peak times. This advanced booking is essential to ensure availability and to align with the busy schedules of our professional musicians.
Upon your request to rebook and to help you out at such short notice, we immediately tapped into our extensive network of musicians, striving to find a suitable replacement for your big day.
However, the short notice and the high season constraints made it incredibly challenging to secure the band.
We want to assure you that our team made every effort to accommodate your request, understanding the importance of music at such a significant event. Unfortunately, the tight timeframe and external factors beyond our control made it impossible to fulfill your rebooking.
While we empathize with the disappointment this situation may have caused, we believe it's important to acknowledge the efforts made under challenging circumstances. We did our utmost to assist you, and it's disheartening to receive a negative review given the context.

Can't recommend this band highly enough they were brilliant from start to finish! The dance floor was full for every single song and the number of guests who came over to us both during and after the band saying how good they were. Got the crowd going from great music to the conga line and had the place rocking the whole night! We were so happy we chose sax and the city and if we had to do it all again we would choose sax and the city again as well!

We cannot recommend having Sax and the City enough for a wedding!
I've never seen a wedding with the dance floor as full and that's due to the Band and DJ.
The band where engaging with all the guests from start to finish, the songs played where absolutely perfect, you couldn't possibly sit for any of them! We went for the Band with the trumpet which we would recommend. Being introduced onto the dance floor with saxophone and trumpet was a great way to get everyone on the dance floor from the very start. The band vocals and music was amazing, cannot fault a single thing. We also chose the Sax DJ, which was a real highlight. Our guests and ourselves hadn't seen anything like it at any other wedding. Having the saxophone play alongside some of the best dance songs was the cherry on the cake. The DJ played the best songs which kept everyone on the dance floor as the night moved on. He also added in some Lithuanian dance songs for us which was very much appreciated.
Honestly, you will not find a better band for your day! It's the best band I've heard and experienced at a wedding, and our guests said the same! If you want the best songs, best music, best vocals, best engagement and a full dance floor on your wedding day, book Sax and the City!

Can't begin to describe how incredible this band is -they literally had the crowd going from the first dance to the end!Friends have said that they've never danced as much before!We also had the sax DJ & he was fantastic also,really interacting with the crowd -FANTASTIC ???? Would highly recommend

Sax and the City played at our St Patrick's Day wedding in Bellingham Castle. We could not recommend this band highly enough. Our dance floor was full from the minute they started playing, they were extremely lively, playing a wide variety of music to cater for our guests and really getting involved with everyone. We have had so many guests ask us since about the band and commenting on how amazing they were! We had heard the guys play at a showcase in Ashbourne and thought the were brilliant then, they were even better on our wedding day! If you?re looking for the best wedding band around this is it!!

Highly recommend booking this band for your wedding, they are incredible!! Best band I've ever seen at a wedding. They played a great variety of songs and our dance floor was packed all night. The definitely made our wedding and our guests are still telling us how great the band were months after our wedding. The Sax DJ was a huge hit also. They were great to deal with from the first outreach right through to the last song on our wedding night. Thank you so much for making our wedding so memorable

Sax and the city are an amazing band, very lively. They played our wedding on 02sep 2022 in Markree castle. The music was infectious, everyone was up dancing. Many guests have since complimented how amazing the band were. We would highly recommend sax and the city.

We couldn't recommend Sax and the City enough. They played at our pre-reception and reception and everyone had a brilliant time - many of our guests said it was the best wedding dance floor they'd seen! On top of that they are a pleasure and very professional to deal with.

We booked Sax and the City based off watching their You tube videos and reviews alone. They were fantastic. From the minute they started playing they had the whole wedding on the dance floor. Everyone commented on how brilliant they were. We could not be more delighted on how it went. We also booked the sax and dj which just added to the whole night. So many compliments about them even weeks later. If your looking for a fantastic wedding band these guys are it. Two very happy costumers.

I cannot thank Sax and the city band for making our wedding!!! They were extremely easy to deal with and patient with us as we hadn't a clue what song to go for for our first dance. We also had them do a singing waiter performance which literally got the party started from the dessert!! Excellent from start to finish!

Sax and the City were incredible! What an amazing Wedding we had, and in large part it was because of them. They had everyone on the dance floor for the entire night. They played our first dance song perfectly, and then straight into hit after hit. All of our guests are still talking about how amazing SATC are, and my husband and I are in total agreement. Not only that, they were so kind and helpful, especially as we were planning our Wedding from overseas. I cannot recommend them enough, and not only the band, but their pianist at the reception played so beautifully, and the DJ & Sax really got the crowd going. It's a night we'll never forget, the fun we had on the dancefloor is memorable. Thank you Sax and the City for an outstanding evening!

What a night... what a band. I would highly recommend Sax & The City from start to finish. They were very professional, they contacted me plenty of times beforehand to discuss what we expected, the switched dates when Covid restrictions hit and they provided the most wonderful entertainment on the night. Sax and the City provided us with band, DJ and saxophone for our wedding day and we absolutely loved them.
Our wedding guests loved them too and they only left the dance floor for a drink.

Sax and the city played at my wedding recently, we also booked them as entertainment for the reception drinks when we were off getting photographs taken. With all the uncertainty around Covid restrictions, the band was extremely flexible to our changing needs and they also worked on the pricing as we couldn't have a DJ with curfew restrictions in place. In the lead up to the wedding Kieran was great in his communication with us. Overall the band put on a great show and were a pleasure to deal with. It was the cherry on the cake that our dancefloor was jammed from start to finish! Would highly recommend.

Sax and the City played at our wedding in September this year (Covid wedding with only 39 guests). They were great and kept the dance floor really busy all night, even with significantly reduced wedding numbers than originally planned. Ciaran and Carla were a pleasure to deal with and very understanding & flexible with ever changing plans. They also were very accommodating with our song requests. We chose the band after seeing them at a friends wedding in December 2019 and knew they were who we wanted for our day, and they didn't disappoint. I would definitely recommend them.

Sax and the city played at our wedding 3/9/2020 , even with reduced numbers the dance floor wasnt empty once all night. Everyone had a ball and we have had so many guests complimenting them and asking who they were

Lets just say picking your band for our wedding was possibly the best decision we ever made. They were absolutely fantastic and we cannot thank Vanessa, Dave, and the other members of the band for simply making our wedding for us in these bizarre times. The amount of people who have enquired from us as to who the band was is unbelievable. Daves interaction with the crowd was incredible and if anything I once again need to apologies for the delay in being able to let them set up as our diner overran considerably.

We received really positive feedback about the band from our guests. Their communication with us, interaction with crowd, sound quality & energy levels were excellent.
The dance floor was never empty and we were really impressed with how they got everyone back up onto the dance floor after the break. Their energy levels were super impressive! The sax with the DJ is also added an extra we had and was well worth it.

Sax and The City performed at our wedding in November in Virginia Park Lodge and we couldn't thank them enough ! We had the full package - reception drinks, band and DJ and they were fantastic ! Ciar?n couldn't have been more helpful and friendly to deal with and the band even accommodated a last minute change to our first dance song a few days before the wedding which was a huge relief as we had learned a routine. Virginia Park Lodge has two set up areas for music and again they were so accommodating in facilitating the set up which wouldn't be the standard norm. Most importantly they had our guests dancing all night ! The dancefloor was packed and they catered to all music tastes and ages of the guests attending our wedding. We particularly loved the conga onto the dancefloor where they dragged all of those seated up for a boogie ! We are so happy we had such a fantastic band for our wedding and would highly recommend them!

Having read lots of 5 star reviews about how amazing Sax and the City were i contacted them last year in regards to our wedding. We were living in Australia at the time and Ciaran got back to us straight away and communication from then on was amazing. When we flew home for Christmas we booked to go to a showcase in the New Year to hear the guys live. Even though the reviews were amazing i was still a bit nervous having booked a wedding band we had only heard online. All i can say is if you are in two minds about booking Sax in the City - go to one of their showcases!! They played for us in a small theatre in Ashbourne in front of about 15 people and we were blown away, we knew straight away we had booked the right band for us. Communication in the run up to the wedding was regular and consistent from Ciaran and we felt totally at ease about the band's set up on the day. The day before the wedding we changed our first song choice, not a problem for them at all!! We did the march on for the entrance and honestly since that first moment, the crowd were blown away and on the dance floor all night long. I know all the reviews say it but it's because its true, everyone was raving about the music the day after! The floor was packed all night and the music played was to suit everyone, the music is brilliant and the vocals are amazing!! Honestly, i cannot recommend them enough!

Well what can we say!!!! WOW WOW WOW!!! we had Sax & the city play at our wedding last friday 20/09/19
We didn't think the day could get any better! From the moment we woke 2 the amazing sunshine to the wedding band matching us to the dancefloor our first dance with our little girl and then the DJ! The floor was full all night long! Thank you Ciaran/Ronan /Vanessa & gang ue made our night one 2 remember! So many guests asking who where the band???? Omg that girl can sing! So once again Thank you! 5 stars arent enough..

A massive thank you from myself and my husband Philip for absolutely blowing us away with the music for our wedding, in Mount Wolseley on 14th Sept. You guys were absolutely amazing. From our 1st dance to the last song of the night, the dancefloor was full and all of our guests are still commenting on how much fun they had and how amazing the band were. Nothing was a problem for you guys and you had the crowd judged to perfection with regards to the choice of playlist. Absolutely amazing, from my first phone call with Ciaran he is absolutely brilliant helping us to prepare for our big day. He made the whole process so easy and they are such lovely professional people who you feel as though you know all your life. The evening of the wedding where the band marched us out in front of all our guests was magical and the atmosphere the whole night through was electric there wasn't one person sitting down the whole night. Even now 8 weeks later sax and the city are all that the guests talk about and guys those vocals amazing. Vanessa was outstanding as were the rest of the band. I am absolutely delighted I had these guys for my wedding and I can't thank you enough ye really made the day more memorable.

A massive thank you to Se?n on the sax that played at our wedding, we only booked him three days before & if it wasn't for Ciar?n's prompt response & professionalism we never would of got Se?n, it was the cherry on top of an amazing day & could not recommend Sax And The City enough.. thank you again lads!

Sax and the City were absolutely amazing from the moment they marched us out onto the dancefloor to the last song by the dj at the end! The dance floor stayed full all night and all of our guests were up to dance, as there was something for everyone. Everybody wanted to know who the band were at the end of the night, including the venue who said they were one of the best bands they'd ever had. Ciaran was a pleasure to deal with on the organising front which was great too. We danced all night long and couldn't have asked for a better band, atmosphere or night!

We had Sax and the City as our wedding band in August 2019.
Simply we can not recommend them enough from booking to the wedding day itself.
The guys were so good that our guests were up dancing before they even started, they had to tell the guests they were only warming up.
They were honestly one of the best parts of the day.
Sax and the city knew instinctively what the crowd wanted and provided it effortlessly.
Real value for money and the lads and Vanessa were lovely to deal with .
Take it from us you won't regret booking these fun talented people for your wedding day

Not sure where to start, what a brilliant band, from the first time we met them, they were so professional and fun, we knew we'd have the craic with them!! They knew how to work the crowd and get people up out of their seats,they sang any song we had asked for! Nothing was too much trouble! Ive seen a conga line at a wedding before, which was brilliant, but I never thought I'd be doing the limbo in my wedding dress!!!! Couldn't have asked for more on the night, my only complaint is that it had to end!! You know you've picked well when your 80+ year old uncle is rocking out to an amazing rendition of highway to hell!!! Thanks to you all for an amazing night and making our wedding so memorable, people are still talking about the band!!

Sax in the city provided a whole day and night of top entertainment for our wedding from reception drinks to live band followed by live sax and DJ until the early hours. We booked our wedding from Sydney and never had the chance to see the band beforehand. We were not disappointed, the videos on YouTube do not do them justice. Ronan was very easy to deal with, agreed to learn 2 new songs before the wedding, incorporated my wife's 8 year old nephew into the set playing guitar with the band for a song. Got a groomsman involved for another hit and incorporated a last minute request as a special thanks to our flower girls. It doesn't stop there either. Our venue was amazing consisting of a number of rooms. The band marched through the rooms playing and collecting guest to bring them together on the dance floor at key points in the evening-this was loved by all the guests and really got the party going! Thanks Sax in the City!

Woww what can I say about Sax And The City only that they are true professionals and a spectacular band. They played during our wedding celebration party and they made our party such a fun one. In the planning and lead up to our party we liaised with Ronan who was so helpful in answering all our questions and helping us decide on our choice of songs for the evening. As a band they really gauged the crowd well to play songs that everyone would enjoy. The conga line and limbo were absolute hits with everyone. I saw friends and family members dancing that night who normally never dance!!The singer and band all complement each other so well and you can see how much they enjoy doing what they do and this added a great vibe to our party. Thank you Sax And The City for making our celebration party a very special one.

Sax and the City are a top class band!! They play a massive range of songs which kept our guests - young and old happy! Our dance floor was packed all night and the Dj played some unreal songs!! They have so many unique touches as a band, from parading us into the room for our first dance, a congo led by the saxophone player and a bit of limbo thrown in for the craic of it! Their interaction with the crowd is brilliant and they know the best songs to play and exactly when to play them!
Choosing Sax and the City was the easiest and best decision we made for our wedding! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Sax and the city are a fantastic and talented band! Ciaran and all the gang are so professional and friendly. We had a great night at our wedding party and the band did everything to get the guests up on the dancefloor! We particularly enjoyed the Congo line! My legs are only coming around now from all the dancing! A fantastic array of songs were played to suit everyone! The Sax DJ then picked up the pace for the 2nd half of the night! They played lots of songs I requested and they could read the crowd so well and played lots of old school tunes which everyone is still talking about! Thanks for everything guys!

Absolutely fantastic band. Dance floor was buzzing all night. Vanessa was brilliant in helping me with my dress too when I got a little stuck with hooking it up. Highly highly recommend these guys. Truly brings something different to the day

Wow, what can I say? The band were amazing. The suggested we do a walk in entrance with them on their instruments and it was great, worked really well. It was great have male and female vocals as all the songs sounded authentic and what great singers they are too! the brass section made it all so much fun and the band really got involved with the crowd, which could sound cringy but it totally wasn't, they knew when to just play and when to vamp it up a bit. dancefloor was packed all night, I was so tired from dancing by the time they finished!If you want a fun filled wedding with a packed dancefloor, book Sax & the City.

Honestly don't know where to start. We organised our wedding from the UK and from the first email these guys were so helpful it really put our mind at ease. We had two of the lads playing our drinks reception and then the full band for the evening. Everything was perfect. We did the wedding march and so many of our guests commented on it how it was such a different and fun way to enter for the first dance. We had a small crowd but they kept the dance floor full the whole night. The conga line was genius and we went around the whole hotel again a highlight for us and our guests. Honestly that memory will bring me smiles forever. One of my friends is a singer and they even let her do a song which was so personal and so appreciated the band really went out of their way to make sure we had the party we wanted. If you are considering booking these guys don't hesitate I'd book them a million times over. Just wish we could do it all again. Thanks soooo much x

Sax and the city played at our wedding on the 17th of May 2019 and were out of this world. From the first time I was in contact with the band to meeting them in person, they were so helpful and professional and it felt like I knew them for years. They suggested we march in with the instruments playing which was fantastic fun on the night. The music was great and everyone filled the dance floor and danced the night away. I can't thank them enough for making our special day even more special. If you?re looking for a wedding band then look no further!

Amazing band! Really knew how to play the crowd! So much energy and they come down onto the dancefloor which was so much fun for everyone! Really great musicians too! So lovely to deal with as well! Would highly recommend!

We had an excellent wedding thanks to Sax and the City. I had my reservations initially because I had never heard of the band but Ciaran and the guys were brilliant from start to finish and especially Vanessa who is a wonderful vocalist. No ask of them was too big during planning, including our personalized playlist, and the incredibly talented band played everything our guests requested. If you want a diverse band that can cater for a full range of needs then look no further than Sax and the City.
