my fiancé and I knew we wanted scruffy Duffy for our wedding day from the first minute we spoke to him. He was funny, kind, and very experienced in his whole show. our whole wedding party could not stop talking about how epic our wedding was because we had the best DJ out there.

We had seen Scruffy Duffy at a family wedding in 2020 just before Covid and we honestly thought he was one of the best entertainers we saw at a wedding. Soon after we got engaged when we started the wedding planning we knew we wanted Scruffy at our own wedding. He is so easy to deal with and he had us in stitches on the phone calls leading up to the wedding. He really puts his all in to it and so many of our guests have commented on how there was never any lull during the meal as Scruffy kept the buzz going. We had DJ Scruffy Duffy for my daughter’s World Ball and he honestly made the night. The dancefloor never emptied , he had the crowd going from start to finish with no lull at all. He was amazing to sit down and talk to especiallly going through everything before the wedding. During the wedding meal show, he got all the guests up dancing and having craic. Despite having spoken to you and being given a full run through of the ‘throughout the meal’ show, we weren’t sure if we had made the right decision and nervously waited for the day to come. Scruffy was everything we wanted and more for our entertainment for our big day. From first booking him right through to the day of the wedding he was all energy and so responsive.
The fashion show, mr and Mrs quiz and the sing a longs….many of our guests had never been to a Scruffy wedding. They’ve all been raving about it since saying it just put the icing on the cake for an electric atmosphere

Our guests were just amazed by what Scruffy Duffy did. Our whole room was up dancing from the moment they were seated in the room until the meal was over. We were up on the chairs singing and dancing the whole way through the meal.

Scruffy was our celebrant and MC for the day and we were not disappointed! Scruffy was so easy to deal with especially as we live over seas he made the whole process stress free, we had a circular ceremony and he bought everyone together and then of course there was the entertainment during the meal. He really does what he says he had the place rocking from start to finish, with a lot of guests travelling he got everyone involved! Scruffy Duffy,was absolutely outstanding we got a full wedding package entertained from mealtime till late in the night!! We are still hearing from guests what a brilliant day and guests saying" best wedding they were ever at "and where did we find scruffy !!," They had never experienced a wedding with this kind of entertainment. Watching our wedding video seeing the youngest to the oldest guests up and out of there chairs laughing really enjoying the entertainment and a full dance floor all night gave us great joy to see again !! Martin is the best wedding host you will get and if you don’t get him you’ll regret it!!

From the first moment we spoke to him he sent us examples of his show and how he works the crowd and the videos and pictures do not do him justice! We also had multiple meetings with him prior to our day in relation to how his show will run and exactly the process he goes through and he is very open and flexible to our needs and the needs of our guests.

He was our wedding host from the wedding meal the whole way through to last orders and he had us and our guests on our feet enjoying every second. He is a true master of his craft and knows how to keep a party rocking!

Everyone from the morning after the wedding and beyond have been coming to us in awe of how brilliant he is and how he had everyone enjoying themselves.

We hired Scruffy as MC during our meal for our wedding and to say he had the room buzzing is an understatement. From the get go, he had young and old guests up dancing, signing along and enjoying themselves. We hired Scruffy Duffy to provide entertainment on the day of the wedding and boy did he do just that! Our wedding was rocking with people jiving between the tables before the dessert was even served! In the lead up to the wedding Scruffy was professional and highly organised which was very reassuring. He also was so helpful providing advice when working with other suppliers! WOAW.. what a show! Couldn't recommend this man enough. Professional as they come and my god can he rock a room. Worth every penny and the rest if there 1s thing I would book over and over it would be Scruff. Our whole room was rocking from the minute we entered into it till he left. My guests were left speechless they couldn't get over it. At breakfast all people were talking about even my aunties I'm their 80's were on their feet dancing and singing. Was genuinely a few hours which il cherish forever and moments that myself and my wife will forever be thankful to Scruff for. We had Scruffy Duffy do the entertainment for our wedding in Lough Eske Castle. He was amazing to say the least. He talked us through everything in advance so we knew what to expect on the day. I cannot reccomend Scruffy Duffy enough! We laughed from start to finish, as did our guests, young and old! One month on from our wedding. and people are still talking about the fun ,energy @ crac he provided. From the minute we first phoned scruffy, he made us feel so at ease and even gave tips on other aspects of the wedding. He took care of everything on the day and took everyone into consideration, ie giving my brother and nephews ear defenders for the kids ,and also giving dad helpful tips before his speech! From the moment we met scruffy, he was friendly, chatty and reassuring about what he could provide for us on the day, he did not disappoint, we booked scruffy for MC during the meal and dj following band.

The meal entertainment went beyond our expectations, everyone was on a high from the moment scruffy entered the room, there was speculation and curiosity as to what might happen with signs on each table to bring on competition for the loudest side of the room (bride or groom?!!!)

Everyone cheered as the groomsmen entered together followed by the bridesmaids with music to bring on the moves as they made their way to the top table.

Everyone was laughing, cheering as we made our entrance. The top table was on their feet, signs in the air, laughter, singing which encourages the guests to keep the atmosphere going. We chose 4 lads to take part in the surprise fashion show, the surprise did not make them hesitate, they put on a great show, it was absolutely hilarious with tears of laughter filling the room, the MOH and best man did a karaoke sing off and everyone joined in.

It was the best decision we ever made booking scruffy, it removed the dullness between courses when people begin to lack in conversation and focus on how full they are getting, the guests did not get a moment to stop and think and they were absorbed in the whole show which also led them nicely to the dance floor when the band began as they were on a high, the floor was never empty and as the night went on, the wildness continued with scruffy ending the night as dj.

Our guests are still talking about it, everyone from young to old are still laughing at moments from the show, couples due to get married are getting scruffy for their wedding, they never seen anything like it.

I cannot recommend Scruffy Duffy enough. He was a pleasure to deal with from the second we met him. Our wedding ceremony was very relaxed but also had a little humour in there too. Cyril is quiet shy and doesnt like alot attention focused on him and Scruffy dealt with this perfectly. Our reception was brilliant fun throughout. I am from the west of Ireland and living in the Midlands, so I had all my family and friends travel for the wedding, all the guest are still talking about how all of our guests mingled amongst one another which was exactly what we wanted and that is all down to Scruffy. Nothing is too big or small a request. Please believe me when I say we had the best day, people will speak of your wedding for years to come with Scruffy Duffy. He is an absolute gentleman and an absolute pro at what he does.

DJ Scruffy Duffy the wedding show was outstanding , and having a DJ was just perfect for a small intimate crowd of people ..you lit up the room and were just the most positive burst of energy , so much positive feedback from guests.

We had Scruffy as our entertainment at our wedding recently and what a day it was. From contacting him originally before we had to postpone, he was nothing but helpful and very quick to respond to any questions we had at a time that suited us. The crack, laughing and dancing made our day and our guests day. The room was electric and stayed that way for the rest of the night because of this. We had DJ Scruffy Duffy entertain us and our guests at our wedding in the Radisson Sligo two weeks ago and what can I say boy did he entertain... From the very first meeting with "Scruffy" we both could feel the confidence oozing from the guy and we knew we were going to have a wedding like no other. His attention to detail and in depth knowledge of how such an occasion will pan out was top class.. To bring a room full of people who I suppose were just expecting to have dinner....on to their feet from the very start right till the last song of the night.. We had a bride and groom quiz show, we had a mid course fashion show we had a best man Freddie mercury tribute and Chief bridesmaid Tina Turner dance off all the while guests some of whom on standing on their chairs at this stage singing along to songs you would normally find yourself singing at 3am after a few too many shandy's!!! To hear our name Mr. And Mrs Butler echo out over and over on the microphone by Scruffy really made it... it really is a special day for a couple and to hear applause every time your name and your wife's new name and it just hit home how monumental the day is... We can't recommend Scruffy enough and on behalf of myself and my wife would like to thank DJ Scruffy Duffy for exceeding our expectations and making our big day one that we and our guests will and have been talking about for quite some time...

We had Scruffy's full wedding show including the ceremony at Kilronan Castle. What a brilliant day & night it turned out to be. We were a little anxious leading up to the day about how our guest would interact, we had nothing at all to worry about, what a show Scruffy put on from the ceremony being intimate & inclusive but not to formal, which lead on to the madness. Nobody was expecting what was to follow. Half our guests were dancing on the chairs before the 2nd course was served. Even the older guests gave it large, a sight to seen. We had a dance off, a lip sink battle & all sorts of madness. Scruffy puts everything into entertaining the crowd & took all the pressure off us from the day we signed up with him.
We spoke to the majority of our guests over the following days/weeks & everyone said it was the best wedding they attended & If they knew about Scruffy Duffy, they would have loved to have their own wedding just like that. Some planning their big day said they will most definitely hire DJ Scruffy.

If there's one thing you want for your wedding day, it's to have a day that everyone will remember! DJ Scruffy Duffy is by far the best entertainment around! We had 80 year olds standing on chairs, we had children laughing at all of the adults in costumes and myself and my husband had prime position watching the Guests in the catwalk, and the dance off competitions! We were worried it wouldn't be for everyone but we couldn't have been more wrong. He sets the pace for young and old and works the room to suit every age and personality of your guests! From the minute you enter the room, the atmosphere is electric! The music was fab, the commentary was so funny and the way he works the room is truly unforgettable. I have been lucky enough to be a guest at two of his weddings also and honestly a normal wedding will never be the same now! Book him don't even think about it just book him!!!

It is hard to put into words how good this man is, simply because there are no words that can do him justice. He is out on his own in relation to entertainment, professionalism, liveliness and having the craic.
