Hello, I’m Sharon, a professional makeup artist based in Sligo with over 17 years’ experience in the makeup industry.
Bridal makeup has always been a huge part of my work and is still one of the things I love most about my job. I’ve worked with hundreds of brides, and no two are ever the same. Some want a very natural look, while others prefer a little more glamour, but for me the most important thing is that you still feel like yourself.
I’m based in Sligo and travel to wedding venues and homes throughout Sligo and the Northwest, including Markree Castle and many of the beautiful wedding venues across the region. On the morning of your wedding, I come to you and look after makeup for you and your bridal party, so you can relax and enjoy getting ready.
A bridal trial can be arranged before the wedding, giving us time to chat through your ideas, your usual makeup, your dress and the overall look you’d like to create. You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what you want - that’s what the trial is for.
Over the past 17 years, I’ve worked across bridal, fashion, editorial, TV and film, and I also teach Makeup Artistry. That experience has given me a strong understanding of skin, products and photography, as well as how to create makeup that looks beautiful in person and on camera and lasts throughout your wedding day.

I can't recommend Sharon highly enough. In my 40s I'd started to feel that make-up just wasn't working for me anymore, but Sharon showed me it absolutely still could. The look she created suited me perfectly. It wasn't too much, it felt like me, and it lasted beautifully all day. More than that, within minutes of meeting her it felt like chatting with an old friend. On the morning of the wedding she was such a calm, reassuring presence and took all the stress out of getting ready. Thank you, Sharon, for helping me look and feel my best on such a special day.

I was initially hesitant about getting my makeup done professionally, as I don’t usually wear much and worried about looking caked on my wedding day. I had originally planned to do my own makeup as I was so worried about not looking like or feeling like myself on the day. However, after a trial with Sharon, my hesitations disappeared. She genuinely listened to my concerns and addressed them with such care—I knew right away she was the perfect person for the job.
Looking back, I can’t believe I ever hesitated about having my makeup done professionally. Sharon created a look more natural than I could ever achieve on my own. I honestly couldn’t recommend Sharon enough. She did my makeup for my wedding and l still remember when I saw the result that morning how lucky I was to have her.

Sharon knocked it out of the park with my bridal makeup! I do not wear makeup often and was worried about not looking like myself, but as soon as I spoke with Sharon I knew I would be in safe hands. The makeup look she created for me was beautifully natural and stayed on all night. I felt so comfortable on the day because of her! Her professionalism and patience did not go unnoticed. Sharon is the perfect wedding artist, and was able to cater to individual tastes for the bride, four bridesmaids and two mothers. The make up stayed on all day, and still managed to look natural. From start to finish Sharon was both professional and a pleasure to deal with. Sharon managed to work around me as I was organising all my wedding planning from England. On the day she did an amazing job and really listened to myself and my bridesmaid and tailored our make-up to our own individual preferences. Everyone commenting on how beautiful I looked, it was all thanks to Sharon's talents. Through the whole day the make-up never felt heavy or clunky but natural and at points I forgot I had make-up. Sharon kept all communication easy and accessible, which was great help especially being in England. Sharon even managed to get my mum to wear make-up (she hasn't worn any in the last 30 years) and my mums face said it all, she was delighted and kept looking at herself, so, thank you so much Sharon for amazing talent and helping myself and my bridal party look absoultley stunning for the most important day of my life!

I highly recommend Sharon for any bride looking for a make up artist. Sharon is excellent at what she does and is friendly, warm and kind hearted. Getting my make up done by Sharon was one of my favourite and most relaxing part of my day. Sharon created such a beautiful look for myself, my sister and my Mum and took care with my sister and Mum as I had explained they don't wear a lot of make up. We were so lucky to have Sharon apply make up to me and my bridal party for my wedding. She is an incredibly talented make-up artist, very professional and made the whole experience very enjoyable. Sharon did my bridal makeup in September 2018 and was a dream to deal with - I could not recommend her highly enough. I had been somewhat apprehensive about my wedding makeup, because I was worried that a makeup look that would need to last a whole day would look too heavy and that I wouldn't feel like myself. At my trial, Sharon alleviated all of my concerns! She really listened to what I wanted (and what I really didn't want) and I was so thrilled with the result, which lasted well into the wee hours! She made my fabulous bridesmaids look even more fabulous, and did a beautiful job with my mother and sister in law's makeup also. Sharon did my makeup for my wedding in July and I was absolutely thrilled. Sharon took her time to listen to exactly what I didn't like at my makeup trial and from that she was able to create a look that I loved. My two bridesmaids and my mum were thrilled with theirs. Sharon is calm and relaxed and puts everyone at ease which is exactly what you need on the morning of the wedding. The makeup stayed flawless all day and night and didn't require any touch ups. Sharon did mine, my four bridesmaids' and my auntie's makeup for my wedding. I was really impressed with Sharon's work from start to finish. I was organising my wedding from the UK and Sharon was completely flexible in times for my trial. At the trial she listened to my preferences and gave me lots of great ideas for what my makeup could be like on the day. She also provided me with a list of the products she intended to use well in advance in case I wanted any for myself for the day and she also offered to get them for me. However, I really didn't need to top up anything other than lip gloss the whole day. The products she uses are all of really high quality and this was important to me as I have particularly sensitive skin.

I am generally nervous of getting my make up done as I don't like to look overly made up, but Sharon was brilliant from start to finish. The makeup she did for us was AMAZING - she made my bridesmaids look like supermodels, and I was delighted with my makeup too! Sharon is so natural at her job, she does make up like it's second nature to her. I found her professional so knowledgeable and trustworthy. Sharon did my make up for my Wedding in December. Having had a very smooth make-up trial in advance of the Wedding, I was in no doubt that Sharon would have me looking fabulous for my big day! During the trial she spent alot of time determining the style I was going for. On the day of my wedding Sharon was nothing short of brilliant. She
worked her magic on myself and my 3 bridesmaids. She had us all
looking flawless. She was professional, creative and only for her
ideas i would have went with my usual safe option on the day! I had so

ideas i would have went with my usual safe option on the day! I had so
much confidence in her that i was super relaxed the whole morning and

When i look back on my photographs i'm so thrilled with how we all

I cannot thank Sharon enough for the brilliant job she did getting us all ready on the morning of my wedding, she was so professional & had a great calming effect on what I expected to be a panic filled morning, but she arrived bright & early leaving more than enough time to make sure we all were looking fabulous with plenty of time for a glass of champagne & lots of pictures to be taken before leaving the house. All us ladies had different make up styles & needs, from more funky to classical as we ranged in age from being in our twenties, thirties, forties & fifties & everyone was so happy with their make-up. I myself was a bit worried as I have a touch of rosacea but my make-up lasted all day & I received so many compliments specifically about my make-up. I couldn't recommend Sharon enough, she is a very talented make-up artist & is such a warm lovely person too, it was a joy to have her in our home the morning of my wedding.

Sharon was recently the make up artist for my wedding. She managed to make seven of us look beautiful without even breaking a sweat! Our make up was beautifully applied and lasted the entire day. She was lovely to have in the house on the morning of the wedding, fun and extremely professional at the same time. I would highly recommend her and will be using her services again.

I got married in July, I spent the year previous researching every detail as all you brides to be would know. I had a very clear vision on how the day would be from Decor to flowers, bridesmaid dress to make up. I just needed to find the people who could see the vision as I did. When it came to the make up, this needed to be perfect (as I would be very handy with an eye shadow brush myself) Sharon came to my house for a trial, I explained my idea for me and my bridesmaids and away she went. The trial went brilliant, it was such a weight off my mind, as you can imagine there was so much more I needed to get off my list. The day of the wedding sharon came to the house and got straight into it, she really is a true professional very focused and detailed. I can say hand on heart the make up was perfect, not one touch up all day. I was extremely emotional on the day crying every other minute and the first thing I'd say to my chief was "fix my make up" and every
time she said it's perfect!!. When I cry there is no hiding it, my eyes, nose and cheeks go red. But looking at the pictures you would never know I shed a tear. Sharon is an amazing make-up artist and i was so glad that she was available to do my make up for my wedding in June, i think i got one of her last available bookings for 2011. My make-up, my mums and my bridesmaids make-up was perfect and lasted well into the wee hours of the morning. (She also fitted in my Aunt who was not originally booked in with no problem at all). I was so happy to get my wedding photos back and see how well we all looked. Sharon is a fab and friendly person and made us all feel relaxed on the morning and stayed with us

Sharon is a truly professional, creative make up artist. She listened to exactly what I wanted on my trial and it turned out as amazing on the day. She was great on the morning of the wedding while all hell broke loose around her. The make up lasted as she promised for the whole day with only lip gloss touch up required!
