Surefire Trio recently played our wedding reception and we could not have been happier with the band! We found the band through online. They responded to our initial email right away and told us of local events we could see them play. We to one of the events and between the music and our conversation during one of their breaks we knew they were the band for us. All through the process they were very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. They communicated directly with our venue to arrange set up which was one less thing for us to organize! We got compliments on the band from so many guests. They played a good mix of music and read the room well. Being a smaller wedding, the dance floor sometimes became a little bare. But when it did Surefire Trio knew just which songs to play to get people up dancing again! If you are planning a wedding we can’t recommend this band enough!!

After weeks and weeks of looking for a wedding band we stumbled across Surefire Trio. We were worried organising an Irish wedding from the UK would be complicated but Roy was an absolute dream to work with, made the whole process so stress free! We opted for the band and DJ for the night, they were perfect and fantastic value for money, our initially reserved crowd were up dancing in no time! They performed an excellent mix of music and played a playlist of music of our choice while the evening buffet was being served, then the DJ kept the music going til the early hours. I had 100% confidence in them as they are true professionals, talented musicians and really know how to read a crowd. I would recommend these guys to get any party going!

We highly recommend the Surefire Trio as they did a tremendous job for us at our wedding recently. We chose the guys after watching their online videos, getting a feel for their style and reading all the glowing reviews of their past events. The band certainly do not disappoint! We opted for the Ukulele duo to give our canape reception a bit of a unique vibe, and everyone loved them! (One of our guests is now planning on buying a Ukulele!). The band then played for the evening reception followed up by their DJ services into the small hours. All our guests commented on how great the guys were and I'm told their is interest from some of our family and friends hiring them for a future date (maybe see you guys again soon!). The mix of music and style was spot on and I cannot thank the guys enough for helping make our day as good as we hoped. On the organisation side of things, Roy made everything super easy - including liaising with the venue manager directly for logistics to make our planning easier. We were kept informed of everything well in advance and nothing was left unanswered. A big thank you from us - all the very best for the future.

Surefire Trio are a great wedding band. Finding the right band is such an important part of a wedding reception and Surefire Trio definitely exceeded any expectations we had. They were varied in their choice of music based on their experience of knowing what gets folk up dancing and the quality of the band was first class too. People were on the dance floor all evening. There were lots of Scottish guests at the wedding and after the band’s set had finished the Surefire DJ accommodated them with some Scottish dance music which went down very well too. Everyone had an amazing evening thanks to Surefire Trio. If you’re looking for a great wedding band we’d recommend them.

We organised our wedding in Dublin from Scotland in less than 6 months and picked this band after watching their YouTube videos and my parents went to see them. I don’t think I could have picked a better band!! Roy was amazing at keeping in contact, answering all my questions and coming to the rescue in regard to the set up of the room and whether or not to have a stage. He sourced a couple of tracks for a Scottish ceilidh and even dealt with a lot of very last minute requests in a very professional manner. I don’t think our wedding would have been half as good without this band - they were amazing and got so many compliments. I can’t recommend them enough!

Sure Fire Trio are a brilliant wedding band and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Played at our wedding in Aug 2018 and they were fantastic. We organised the wedding which was in Athlone from London where we were both based and Roy was a pleasure to deal with. We went for the full package - Ukulele reception, Full Band and the DJ, which we recommend as great value for money. The band accommodated special requests for the first dance and a group dance which really made the night. Great song selection, interaction with the crowd and they kept the dance floor full for the night. A big thank you to the guys and apologies for not posting the review sooner

Wow!!!!! What an incredible band. We were so delighted that we chose Surefire Trio on our Wedding day. On the lead up to the wedding Roy was very professional and ensured he'd have our requested first dance song ready for the day. Many of our guests had such diverse ranges of music tastes and we were worried that we couldn't possibly cater for everyone in the music front. There was no need to worry. The band had such a wide range of songs and EVERYBODY was up dancing! The dance-floor was full for the night. We are so so grateful to Surefire Trio. They ensured that all of our guests had a ball! We highly recommend them and hope that we'll hear them at some friends weddings in the future (Many of our engaged guests were asking about them.) I would recommend going for the DJ option for later in the evening also. :)

After some research and getting quotes from various wedding bands we decided to go with Surefire Trio. Basically they offered a complete package for a lot less than others and we assumed that one wedding band is as good as another so price was the deciding factor. But we were very wrong....Surefire Trio showed us that a band can make or break a wedding reception. Roy and the boys got the room bang on right with their selections! But more than that the quality of their performance was top class! Our guests were singing their praises on the night and even the next day! We would not hesitate to highly recommend them to anyone for their event's entertainment. Thank you boys for a night of great dancing.

Sure Fire Trio played at our wedding reception and they were fantastic! We told Roy the kind of music we liked as we were going for a rock vibe and the guys totally delivered. The guests loved them and lots of people were asking about them during the evening :) Also, right after the first dance finished the guys kicked things off with Everybody Needs Somebody to Love from the Blues Brothers which is Liam's favourite movie which was an awesome surprise and set the tone for the rest of the night. Roy was a pleasure to deal with and set out the details of everything at the beginning and was always quick to respond to any queries I had. We had a blast and we're so glad that ye were there to help us celebrate :)

Surefire Trio played at our wedding in Moyvalley two weeks ago and were absolutely amazing. Roy was so professional to deal with and made everything so easy. The dance floor was full all night and guests are still coming up to us to say how amazing they were. They played a great mix of songs and were so lively and energetic. I would highly recommend them and could not praise them enough. A super band!

We couldn't recommend Surefire Trio highly enough, they were an outstanding addition to the evening! Roy was an absolute dream to work with from the get go- always quick to respond and really flexible to any ideas we had. They were the best value for money of any of the wedding bands I researched (and I spent an entire week googling every wedding band in Ireland!). Their set list was fantastic and they kept the dancefloor full all night- even the smokers stayed put! Their DJ set afterwards was equally good craic. All the lads were a pleasure to have there on the night, and everyone had a great time

They were so friendly and helpful in their communications, and helped include all our thoughts and ideas for our big day. Roy and the lads were true professionals from start to finish. They listened to our requests and were always at the end of the phone/email for advice or questions. On the night itself they had the wedding guests up dancing all night and we all had a great time. A sounder group of musicians you would be hard to find. Ten out of ten. Would highly recommend and they are priced very competitively too. Really genuinely lovely & personable people who were easy to work with. Thanks so much Roy.

Sure Fire Trio are a fantastic wedding band they had the dance floor rocking for the entire night. Even though they had a set list for the night they made it clear to all guests that they had no problem taking requests. Roy is very easy to deal with and responds almost immediately to all queries. Couldn't have asked for a better band. They made the whole band booking process very easy. We would highly recommend them.

Thank you so much Roy and the band for making the wedding amazing. I didn't leave the dance floor the whole night just at the break. Everybody kept dancing through the night and the dance floor had people the whole night. Thank you so much for doing our medley first dance, which I know was a challenge but you guys didn't to perfection. I couldn't fault your service at all. You were able to help us and allowed us to see you guys play before the wedding. You played music that only me and husband liked but also music that everybody enjoyed. We met Roy and the lads of Sure-fire Trio for the first time in November 2015 at Duffys in Malahide. We were so taken with their enthusiasm and their energy. Their ability to tackle any music genre, impressed us immediately. We decided there and then that they were the band for our wedding. We met Roy and the lads at a couple of gigs and each time we found them very friendly and accommodating. In own preparation for our wedding Roy was always very accessible to us in discussion about songs for the day. He also came up with some good ideas and had a good understanding of what we need for our wedding, given the different age groups. Roy and the lads also learned a first song we had chosen that was not in their original repertoire. For our wedding in Rosscarbery, West Cork, on the 10th of September 2016, the band had no hesitation in travelling the distance to join us. The lads were neatly dressed in waistcoats and shirts and were very professional on the day, arriving before time to talk with us and our bridal party. They created a great atmosphere of fun for the whole night. Roy also played DJ later in the evening and left no song we requested out. He finished the night with a resounding version of Riverdance and The Langer song, which we down fantastic with our guests. We have no hesitation in recommending Surefire Trip for you wedding or party night. Rock on lads……

It's another five star review and deservedly so. We had a similar experience to most on here in that when we found them online and made contact, they responded almost immediately and provided dates of gigs they were playing where we could see them live. Unfortunately we were not able to see them before our wedding but the videos on social media gave a lot of comfort. We were asked for a sample of songs that we would like played. All were incorporated and further, whilst our first dance song was not in their library, they learned it for us and tailored it to make it very personal. I can't thank them enough for that. A great band and a strong DJ set from Roy kept the dancefloor busy at all times. A very professional outfit. Couldn't recommend them more.

What an amazing band - It took us ages to find the right band after so much procrastinating. The guys were very flexible, professional and accommodated all of our requirements. On the day they just got on with the setup, nothing was too much. The floor was packed all night, amazing job guys. You made the evening, thanks a million.

Great band, they were true professionals, trustworthy and good fun!! Their epic version of our first dance song - Frank Sinatra's Fly me to the moon was out of this world. These guys kept all our guests dancing all night long & could adapt the flow of music according to the crowd ripping up the dance floor. Thanks Roy for being our DJ, we know you would of played all night if we asked you too. We would most definitely recommend Surefire Trio!!!

We had the guys playing at our wedding last saturday,we loved them and so did the crowd everyone was asking who ye where and where were ye from they never heard a band like it and loved that ye were a bit different then your "typical" wedding band!! We had the lads at our wedding in November and we have nothing but great praise for all that they did, every song was fab, even the waltse songs were great, which I wasn't sure I wanted at first but decided to take Roy's advice and consider our older guests! We had a packed dancefloor from the start of our night right to the end and the guys were brill at pushing everyone to sing along with them! Surefire trio were one of, if not, the best choice we made, we don't truly believe our night would not have been so good without them! They're three lovely lads, very friendly and easy going and they couldn't do enough for us, I've honestly never seen someone sweat as much as Roy and their drummer did, you could really tell how much they enjoy what they do and how hard they were working the whole time! We booked these guys on the spot at their show case as they played 'our' song, With or Without You by U2 second song in - their version was amazing and we could feel how 'into' the music they were! From day one, Roy was lovely to work with and he put us in the know about a lot of things we definitely would have missed, probably never have thought of, like the secret to a full dance floor ;) They played songs to suit all the different age groups we had celebrating with us and at one stage or another, everyone was up dancing with me and Colm. My cousin is an amateur musician - mad into his music and bands! - and he was bowled over by the talent of the guys, We strong suggest that you hire Surefire Trio if you are getting married, we would hire them all over again if we could! SurefireTrio exceeded our expectations on our big day. We choose a band that played music we liked to listen to rather than your standard wedding playlist. They were very flexible on the type of music they could play and willing to learn new songs if required. We didn't have a huge budget for music and were a little worried we wouldn't find a band and dj in budget but we did. Roy and the band played a great mix of songs that ensured people were dancing all through the night. They not only performed our first Dance but also our last dance song which we only gave them two weeks notice to learn both songs. My husband was delighted that the band were able to play his favourite song. I even managed to keep it a secret from him, and he was ecstatic when he heard the band start to play his favourite song. It topped off our special day perfectly. I hope we get to hear them play again soon.

We have only good things to say about Surefire Trio wedding band as they were so great at ours this August. They sang a lot of different styles of music and really did a great job at keeping everyone interested. Their version of our first dance, With Or Without You by U2 was absolutely stunning!! Roy worked very hard our whole night at getting everyone singing and dancing along and he had great advice for us to help keep our floor full beforehand!! One of our favourite parts was when they played all the old Elvis stuff and everyone was up jiving with us :) All 'round the lads were timely, very professional, easy going and of course, fantastic musicians... whole-heartedly recommend Surefire Trio!!

Roy and his band were great to deal with from start to finish. They really put a lot of energy into their set. The wedding guests are still talking about them. I asked them to play all upbeat rock and they are so suited to that genre. Our first dance was the Proclaimers- 500 Miles and they rocked it out. They were friendly, professional and excellent value. We would highly recommend them to anybody looking for an upbeat fun vibe.

Surefire Trio were fab at my wedding this year, they created a beautiful one off version of our first dance which nearly had us crying and then had us all up dancing our entire night! We found Roy to be heads above our other suppliers when it came to advice on how to get the best out of our wedding and generally being helpful and giving of his time. They seemed to play a song for everyone as there were nothing but compliments to us about them all evening, which we didn't think was possible!! Their waltz section was great for our older guests and they seemed to fit a lot of waltzes into a short period of time. We'd like to suggest to anyone in search of a great wedding band for their big day to go and see these guys live, you won't regret it!

Five stars is not enough for this fantastic trio!!! Roy and the lads played an absolute stormer for us on our wedding night - every song was spot on, full of energy from beginning to end and in particular, our first dance, the lads own version of "Stand By Me" was fabulous and also very, very easy to dance to! - thanks for the advice Roy :) Before we found the guys, Surefire Trio were one of the only bands that we contacted that said they welcomed guests up on stage to sing with them, this was very important to us... and my niece was thrilled to be on stage and singing with a 'real band' for the first time in her life!! We also had Roy DJ for us, directly after the guys finished playing and once again we were so happy to hear all the songs that we love so much! Myself and Joseph highly recommend Surefire Trio as a brilliant wedding band for all couples getting married. We had them at our wedding and they were excellent! Their price is very reasonable compared to other bands that emailed us and some of those bands didn't seem to even be enjoying playing for us at their showcases. The lads in Surefire Trio ended up playing way longer than we expected on our wedding night because they were enjoying themselves so much. The one thing we didn't want was a band looking bored at our hotel so we were chuffed when we found the lads. I felt the band did ever thing for us to make our day special. The singer was out of this world. My dancefloor was packed the whole night, which was the only thing I really wanted for my wedding and everyone of my friends came up to me to compliment me on the music. Roy is lovely to deal with and chat on the phone and out of all the bands we talked to, he took the most time with us and explained everything very well, we didnt know anything about bands! We just wanted to say a quick thank you so much, you guys were amazing!! We cant recommend the surefire trio lads highly enough, they really put there hearts in to it and we could tell they love what they do. These lads were the perfect pick for my wedding, would definitely recommend them, really friendly and excellent musicians, every song was spot on and they really got everyone going. Roy was great at getting us all singing along and up on the floor and compared to other bands, they were nearly 50% less expensive but worth so much more! Can’t thank them enough for the fun they brought to my night x Anna

Fantastic band and really great guys! Roy was incredibly helpful and always available to take our calls, he made our decision very easy compared to our experiences with a handful of other wedding bands. They kept all of our guests happy the night through and even played an extra half hour upon my request without batting an eyelid! We have and would wholeheartedly recommend them again and again to anyone looking for a no nonsense, down to earth, great band

Absolute gents and mad as hatters! The Surefire Trio were the best wedding band we found online and they didn't disappoint at my wedding. Would recommend them to anybody getting married who want a professional but fun bunch of fantastic musicians. Thanks again guys!

When we spoke in the build up to the wedding, I mentioned that our guests had a wide range of musical taste but you guys were brilliant and the toughest critic of all (our 6yr old) loved every minute.
