I can’t thank Lorren enough—she was absolutely incredible to work with. From the bridesmaids and junior bridesmaids to my own dress, everything was perfect. She truly went above and beyond at every step. I couldn’t recommend The One I Love highly enough.

I honestly don’t know where to begin because my experience with Lorren was exceptional from start to finish. My sister lives in Australia but was coming home to Ireland for her wedding, and everything had to be organised quickly. Lorren didn’t just help she took complete care of us. She ordered the bridesmaid dresses from America, kept me updated on delivery, and made sure the exact style we wanted arrived in plenty of time for the Irish wedding.
I live in Dublin and have a very busy schedule, yet she worked around me with such patience and understanding. I also have a skin condition, and she altered the dress several times to make sure I felt comfortable, confident, and fully myself. She was warm, friendly, and genuinely kind throughout the type of person who instantly puts you at ease.
Then came the moment that really showed how special she is. The day before the wedding, the bridesmaids’ shoes still hadn’t arrived — only one pair had made it. Instead of letting us panic, Lorren took the shoes we did have and added matching bows in the exact colour of the dresses so we would all look coordinated. It was such a thoughtful, creative solution, and it made all the difference. It’s the small details like this the things she notices and fixes without being asked that show how dedicated and talented she truly is.
I usually dread fittings, but Lorren completely changed that for me. She made me feel relaxed, hyped me up, and turned something stressful into something I genuinely enjoyed. She has a gift for making people feel seen, supported, and beautiful.
Lorren goes far beyond the extra mile. She is adaptable, thoughtful, and incredibly skilled at what she does. I’m so grateful for her, and I would recommend The One I Love to absolutely anyone. She deserves every bit of recognition for the heart and care she puts into her work.

I’m the bride’s sister, and I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her in the final days before the wedding. My shoes were supposed to arrive weeks earlier, but because of shipping delays they never turned up. The day before the wedding, I showed up with a pair of burgundy shoes I had bought that morning, feeling completely deflated because they didn’t match anything the bridesmaids were wearing.
When I mentioned it to her, she didn’t even blink. She took leftover fabric from the shoulder pieces she had made for the bridesmaids and created the most beautiful matching bows for my shoes. It was such a small detail in the grand scheme of a wedding, but it meant everything to me. She made sure I felt included and coordinated, and I walked away feeling relieved instead of stressed.
I also had a lot going on personally at the time, which made it really hard for me to stick to normal fitting hours. She still managed to fit me in even when it meant calling out to the house, or welcoming me into the shop at times that worked around my situation. I ended up needing to come in three separate times, and she never once made me feel like I was an inconvenience.
Her patience, her creativity, and her willingness to go the extra mile are something you don’t come across often. She didn’t just look after the bride and bridesmaids she looked after me, too, at a time when I really needed the support.
I would recommend The One I Love to anyone. She’s exceptional at what she does, and she genuinely cares about the people she’s helping.

I found The One I Love while searching for bridesmaid dresses, and I am so glad I did! With five bridesmaids ranging in age from 19 to 34, finding styles that suited everyone's personal taste could easily have been a nightmare. Thanks to their huge selection of made-to-order dresses, we were able to pick one colour and fabric and let each girl choose her own style. We sorted all five dresses in a single appointment, we couldn't believe it!
Lorren was an absolute joy to work with: warm, reassuring, knowledgeable, and brilliant at making the process of dress selection and fittings fun. She went above and beyond, even getting True Bridesmaid to mix the style from one collection with the fabric from another for one dress. She thinks of all the little details, like adding custom buttons to the one dress that came without, so everyone matched seamlessly. She was always so quick to respond to any questions I had, looked after all of the alterations in house and even had all dresses steamed and ready to wear for the wedding day. We literally had nothing to do or worry about aside from choosing styles we liked and showing up to the fittings, and even there Lorren was so helpful by being incredibly accommodating of our work schedules and the difficulty lining up times for six people, some of whom work weekends. I could go on, but suffice to say I couldn’t recommend Lorren and The One I Love more highly! The quality of product and the service were absolutely exceptional and at very reasonable prices. I couldn't ask for more!

I honestly cant recommend lorren enough. I went to her with an idea and I was cutting it fine due to my father sudden passing and things being delayed. She honestly made it all so easy. She done my custom made wedding dress and two different colour bridesmaid dresses they were stunning altogether. I also had an idea of a bouquet ball She made that come to life and even better than I could have imagined. Thank you so much for everything ❤️❤️❤️❤️

A 5 star review will never be enough for this amazing shop or for this spectacular owner, Lorren.
It’s really hard to find the right words for this particular review but I’ll try.
Thank you will never be enough to show Lorren my appreciation for everything she done for me during this exciting chapter. The One I Love was the very first wedding dress shop I went to. I was extremely nervous and really didn’t know what I wanted in a wedding dress. Lorren welcomed me with open arms and made me feel very much at home in her shop. Lorren pulled out a dress and both of us secretly knew that this was my dress. A few weeks went past and my heart was firmly set on this shop and dress she had found for me during my first visit so I went back and I was one of the lucky ones that got to say yes to my dream dress in this gorgeous shop. For the next 12 months Lorren was a dream to work with and she was never more than a phone call or a text away. I had such a lovely experience with Lorren that I just had to let my bridesmaids experience it as well so there was never any question that I’d the bridesmaid dresses there as well. Lorren was never anymore than a phone call or text message away and she was so accommodating went it came to alterations. There was never a time that was too early or too late to meet her. On the day I felt like a million dollars and it was all thanks so Lorren. I feel so lucky to have found my dream dress here and I will always hold The One I Love very close to my heart. Thanks again for everything Lorren.

Lorren is honestly like a fairy godmother. Nothing is ever impossible with her, and nothing ever feels like too much to ask.
She created the most beautiful bespoke bridal morning look for me, putting so much time, care and love into every little detail. She truly went above and beyond, and I know she even lost sleep making sure everything was absolutely perfect. That says so much about how deeply she cares for her brides.
She was also incredible with my bridesmaids, making sure everyone felt comfortable, looked beautiful and was completely looked after. She helped us all feel so confident and special on the morning of my wedding.
The finished look was more beautiful and meaningful than I could ever have imagined, and made me feel amazing on such an important day. Lorren is incredibly talented, but more than that, she is warm, kind and genuinely invested in making everything perfect for you.
I feel so lucky to have had her as part of such a special time in my life. Five stars will never be enough🤍

Would not recommend. I ordered and fully paid for 5 bridesmaids dresses in June, based on being told they would arrive in November. I explained at the time that one bridesmaid lived abroad and timing was crucial for alterations.
Despite multiple follow-ups, I was repeatedly given changing and inaccurate information about delivery. On 27 December, after an hour and a half drive with all bridesmaids for alterations, we arrived to find the dresses were not in the shop. I was then told conflicting stories about where the dresses were (DPD, factory, customs), with no tracking details or reassurance provided. This was 5 weeks out from the wedding and I felt so blindsided that I had not being informed no dresses were in so on the 27th, at this appointment I felt I had no choice but to agree with Lorren that she would come to Castlebar for alterations on the 18th of January for 4 of the girls and the other one would be altered based on pinning in sample dress, Lorren offered to come to Castlebar the night before wedding to fix any dresses ( this was made out to be a favour when in reality this should have never been the situation , as dresses were ordered and paid for well within lead time)
After another week of stress and uncertainty with no tracking details sent on and no definite dates of arrival provided by Loreen after many emails over and back I opted to accept a refund, leaving me just three weeks to source five new dresses and arrange alterations before my wedding. Very disappointing experience and extremely poor communication. I would not wish this for any other bride

I was one of the bridesmaids, and because I live in Sligo, work full‑time, and have a little one at home, I knew from the start that I wouldn’t be able to travel for multiple fittings. I could only make it down once, so I had my measurements taken in Sligo instead. Unfortunately, they were completely off, and when my dress arrived it was far too big on me.
I’m only 5’1”, so the fit really mattered, and I was honestly worried it couldn’t be fixed in time. But she was so calm and reassuring from the moment she saw it. In such a short turnaround, she managed to reshape and alter the dress perfectly, making it look like it had been tailored just for me. I couldn’t believe how beautifully it turned out.
She also created a matching shoulder piece for my dress so I would blend in with the rest of the bridal party, even though my situation was a bit more complicated than everyone else’s. It was such a thoughtful touch and made me feel completely included.
What meant the most was how understanding she was about my limited availability. She worked around my schedule without any fuss, even though I could only be there once. Her kindness, patience, and skill made the whole experience so much easier than I ever expected.
I’m genuinely grateful for everything she did. The One I Love is exceptional — not just in her work, but in how she treats people.
If you want, I can create one that’s more emotional, more formal, more chatty, or even one that sounds like someone older or younger.

I attended a wedding recently where The One I Love provided the bridal party dresses, and I feel compelled to share my experience. I wasn’t part of the bridal party just a guest but the kindness and professionalism I received would make you think I was family.
Just as the ceremony was about to begin, my dress ripped at the church. It was every guest’s worst nightmare. I was completely distressed, embarrassed, and convinced I would have to sit through the wedding trying to hide the damage. The bride’s family contacted her, and without a moment’s hesitation and on the 22nd of December, no less she came straight out to the church.
She arrived calm, warm, and reassuring, and within minutes she had my dress perfectly repaired, right there on the spot. Her skill was incredible, but what meant even more was her compassion. She treated me with such dignity and care at a moment when I felt mortified. Thanks to her, I was able to enjoy the ceremony and the entire day without another worry.
I wasn’t even her customer, yet she showed up for me as if I were the bride herself. That level of dedication is rare, and I will never forget it. If this is how she treats a guest in distress, I can only imagine the comfort and confidence she gives to every bride and bridal party she works with.
The One I Love is truly exceptional. I would recommend her to anyone looking for not just beautiful dresses, but a person with a heart of gold behind them.

A Truly Exceptional Experience Went Above and Beyond in Every Way
As the Mother of the Groom, I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible care, professionalism, and genuine kindness we received from The One I Love. Our wedding was planned at very short notice — engaged in late June, and with the big day on the 22 of December 2025 and yet nothing was ever too much trouble.
We had six bridesmaids, and the dresses were ordered barely two months before the wedding, but you would never have known we were working against the clock. Every fitting was handled with calm reassurance, and every alteration was completed with such precision and pride. She even hand‑sewed matching shoulder pieces onto each dress, creating a beautiful, cohesive look that made the girls feel so special.
What stood out most was her unmatched flexibility. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she accommodated fittings at any hour — early mornings, late evenings whatever it took to make sure every bridesmaid felt comfortable and confident. That level of dedication is rare, and we will never forget it.
But the moment that truly showed her heart was on the wedding day itself. A family member’s dress ripped at the church a nightmare scenario for any family. Without hesitation, and on the 22nd of December, she came straight out to the church and repaired the dress on the spot. Her kindness, skill, and willingness to drop everything saved the day and allowed us all to relax and enjoy the ceremony.
The One I Love is more than a bridal shop it is a place of genuine care, craftsmanship, and compassion. We are forever grateful for everything she did to make our day perfect. I would recommend her to any family without a moment’s hesitation.
If you want, I can also create a shorter version, a more emotional version, or one that highlights the bridesmaids more.

Lorren – The One I Love
As mother of the bride, I can say with complete honesty that Lorren at The One I Love was like my guardian angel throughout our entire wedding journey — from the first planning stages, through the full run-up to the wedding, and right into the wedding morning itself. While my daughter Michela, the bride, was living in Australia, Lorren became my backbone, guiding me through every detail of organising all the wedding outfits with endless care, patience, and reassurance.
Lorren communicated constantly with both Michela the Bride and myself, always keeping us informed, supported, and calm. Even with distance and time differences, she made the whole process feel totally stress-free. Her organisation, reliability, and attention to detail meant nothing was ever overlooked, and everything felt safely in hand.
When Michela arrived home to Ireland, Lorren welcomed her with open arms, embracing the bride, bridesmaids, and myself as mother of the bride. In the days leading up to the wedding and on the morning of the wedding, Lorren was there again — calm, caring, and quietly making sure everything ran smoothly, exactly when we needed her most.
What truly sets Lorren apart is her heart. She treats every bride and family as if they were her own. She brings warmth, trust, consistency, and genuine kindness to everything she does. She doesn’t just help choose dresses — she supports people, eases nerves, and creates a beautiful experience that stays with you long after the wedding day.
To me, Lorren was more than a bridal consultant — she was my guardian angel, and I will be forever grateful for her support. She truly deserves recognition for the love, dedication, and care she gives to every bride and family she works with. We as family 100% Reccomend Lorren -The One I Love

It was the best decision I made for my wedding getting my dress made with Lorren. Lorren is a true treasure and so talented at what she does. I had a vision in my head of the wedding dress I dreamed of for years. I visited over 10 bridal shops and they had nothing close to what I wanted. I felt like nobody truly got what I wanted. I wanted a royal or regal look with lace. Lorren was the first person to actually listen to what I wanted and brought the dress from my head to reality. I had the ideas and she had the talent! I was really indecisive but she worked with me every step of the way and through the process, I felt comfortable making the final decisions (as she had the patience to try and test a couple of different options- without any judgement) I trusted her completely! She is a beautiful soul that makes you feel so at ease, whilst still guiding you with her professional judgement and experience. She honestly went above and beyond for me and she did it with such heart, kindness, passion and true talent. I knew she genuinely was making a dress that worked for me, my body shape, my height etc. She was so knowledgable on things I never even knew existed. I had so many compliments on my dress that it was so striking and perfect for me. People who knew me the best said it was a ‘Katie’ dress. The dress was literally made for me! I absolutely loved it. The quality of the material and sewing was phenomenal. Getting your dress made is a nerve wrecking process as you don’t know what the final product will be like, but you are in safe hands with Lorren and I knew that from the moment I met her. She also made my hen dress and altered my wedding PJS and had them steamed for me when I collected my wedding dress!! Thanks so much to Lorren, the absolute best (&more) in the business 🤍

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing bridesmaid dresses from the One I Love - Dream Dresses. From my first contact with Lorren to the last fitting, everything was just perfect. Lorren’s responsiveness to my numerous messages was outstanding! No ask was ever too much and my questions never went unanswered. Lorren’s stock of dresses is incredible - there’s something to suit everyone. The customer service we received was excellent, and I will forever be grateful to Lorren for her friendship and support throughout the process.

Lorren, at The One I Love, made the whole process of finding my wedding dress, bridemaids dresses and flower girl dress so special! There is an amazing selection of dresses to choose from and I had no trouble finding my dream wedding dress! Lorren's kindness, friendliness and relaxed approach made it stress free, especially as someone who struggles with self confidence, and I can honestly say it felt like visiting a friend any time we went to Lorren's beautiful bridal shop! Lorren also did all the alterations which was brilliant cause she really knows what she's doing! I could put my absolute trust in her and nothing was too much trouble! Each dress was perfect on the day! Lorren really goes above and beyond for her clients and I would highly recommend The One I Love to any bride looking for her dream dress!

With 6 weeks to go to my best friends wedding, my bridesmaid dress was too small, I had ordered it before I was pregnant. The bride ordered the dresses in her home town and the shop there could not accommodate a change in size before the wedding… it was looking pretty hopeless until
My sister told me about Lorren and her shop, The One I Love and to say I’m glad is an understatement!! Normally it would take much longer to get an alternative dress but she worked her magic and sourced the exact dress to fit me and my 8 month bump!
Forever grateful, thank you. 100% recommend The One I Love.

She helped me get colours that weren't in store, and she also swapped sizes to help a last minute panic. I highly recommend. I can't wait to see the girls in their dresses next week!

Lorren listened to every anxious thought I had and helped me decide on what i needed and even suggested things I would never have thought of but were such a good idea at the end of the day. My daughter went to Lorren for her wedding dress and while there I told Lorren that I couldn’t find anything for myself but explained what I was looking for. The next time we came back Lorren had a dress in mind which she then designed with bespoke features that were like nothing I have ever seen. It was the most beautiful dress I have ever worn. Lorren just seems to know what works with people and has a great eye for designing. I will be back again. Thank you so much Lorren, you are incredible at what you do and such a nice person along with that which makes it all such a wonderful experience with no stress or hassle.

She is an incredible and uniquely talented lady with a very patient and kind attitude which makes you feel right at home from the minute you meet her. From the moment we stepped into the store it was the most relaxing and easy part of the entire wedding prep. I cannot recommend Lorren at The One I Love highly enough! I recently attended a family wedding while 9 months pregnant, and the thought of finding a dress that made me feel both comfortable and beautiful felt daunting until I met Lorren.
From the moment I walked into the shop, she made me feel completely at ease. Lorren listened carefully to my concerns and preferences and used her incredible eye for style and fit to help me find the perfect dress. Her warmth, patience, and expertise made the entire experience an absolute joy.
The dress she chose was stunning, flattering, and, most importantly, so comfortable. I felt like the best version of myself on such an important day for my family, and I received so many compliments. Lorren’s care and attention to detail went above and beyond I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
If you’re looking for someone who truly understands how to make you feel confident and special, no matter the occasion or challenge, Lorren is the one you need to see. Thank you, Lorren, for helping me shine!

I traveled to Lorren to get a dress for my brothers wedding as I'd seen such great reviews, im a plus size girl and was dreading the thought of what I was going to wear and how I would look in the photos.
The minute I walked into the shop Lorren put me at ease, I was encouraged by the selection of styles available to me, something any plus size person will know is the toughest part of shopping for occasion wear.
Lorren brought me lots of different styles and colours to help us find the most flattering for my shape and she was very knowledgeable and honest about what suited and what didn't, ive had issues in other places where I have been told something looks great only to hate it in photos and realise I looked awful, this was never going to happen with Lorren, she was as invested as I was that I looked great on the day no matter how many dresses I had to try on.
To my surprise, Lorren chose a style for me that I never would have thought I could pull off, but I had to admit I loved how I felt in it and could move easily for dancing (always a bonus), it fit perfectly and flattered and made the most of my shape.
I will 100% be going to Lorren for any other occasions with absolute confidence that I will look great in whatever I get
Best service from start to finish, a real personal touch and genuine care in what she does.

Where do i start. I stumbled across the one I love in ballinlough in co roscommon online. I decided to go for a little visit for my bridesmaid dresses and fell in love with them. Loreen was amazing to deal with, and anytime worked for an appointment which was brilliant. So flexible. She also made my little girls amazing junior bridesmaid dress to match the bridesmaid dresses and she looked and felt a million dollars. That wasnt the end tho for me as when i got my wedding dress in a different shop as i didnt know at the time loreen did brides dresses it was a disaster. It was ordered in the wrong size and didnt fit. with little time left i mentioned it to loreen and asked if she could help. Well without a doubt she did with 2 dresses and loreen help i had my dream dress. She is amazing. This spot is a little gem.

Lorren left me with an unfinished and poorly made wedding dress a day and a half before my wedding. It was truly awful and on bringing it to my own dressmaker (2.5hrs away from where I live) to try and salvage it I was told I should not have taken it from her and it was the worst dress she ever seen made. I ended up having to buy a sample dress elsewhere the day before my wedding and because of the timing no alterations could have been carried out to it. As a plus size my options were limited and only one dress was available, which was very fitted, strappy and low cut, on top of being embellished and laced from top to toe. Completely opposite to anything I would ever wear and what I had asked Lorren to make. The stress and disappointment caused by this person still angers me and I would hate for any bride to ever have to go through that. I'm leaving the review here only as Weddings Online awarded her "Designer of the Year 2023" during the months I was having my dress made... The design I came to Lorren with was so basic. No detail, no train, just a simple no fuss dress. It should have been the easiest dress made. Loreen apologised for the ordeal and refunded the cost of the dress, but no excuse is good enough for someone who is meant to be an award winning dressmaker and it will never make up for the stress caused in the days prior to the wedding and how upset, dejected, and self conscious I was made feel on my wedding day. Avoid this person for custom design wedding dresses.

I couldn't recommend Lorren enough from the very first phone call to wedding morning her warm and friendly manner had us all at ease . She has a fabulous selection of both wedding and bridesmaids dresses but what really made our decision when choosing a bridal shop was that she would do all the alterations. I was 5 months pregnant when choosing a dress so i wasn't her easiest bride I'm sure . Everyone was so thrilled with how our dresses turned out . The happiest of all was my 9 year old junior bridesmaid who Lorren made laces for her white runners with the bridesmaid material. Nothing was ever an issue and always done with perfection thanks so much.

?The One I Love? shop Ballinlough is a really amazing shop.
I feel that it is a real hidden gem in the west of Ireland.
They stock a huge selection of both bridesmaids and wedding dresses.
From the first appointment I had there Lorren the owner was great, she really made me feel at ease and was never pushy which I really appreciated.
I purchased my four Dessy bridesmaid's dresses and my second Wedding dress from "The One I love" and I also purchased my beautiful ?G westerleigh? wedding shoes.
Lorren also designed and made my mothers "mother of the bride" dress.
Again she was super accommodating and understanding of my Mothers needs.
She accommodated appointment times that suited us both and always made us feel welcome.
Lorren also did all the alterations required for my bridesmaid's dresses and they turned out absolutely beautiful. She is a very talented seamstress, all dresses fitted flawlessly .
I would recommend Lorren and ?The One I love? to any future brides, and I'm so glad I chose them to be part of my wedding

Lorren was in charge of my alterations as I got my dress in another shop. Lorren was great and very easy to talk to when it came to different fittings. She made sure I was comfortable and happy with everything. She let me try on different veils, hair pieces etc. She had to do a lot of work with the top part of the dress which is greatly appreciated and was perfect on the day. Lorren was flexible with appointments and even helped with the veil when I decided to wear my moms in the end so it would match better. I highly recommend Lorren to everyone and the dressses she has in stock are stunning. She even dropped the dress up to the house personally (5 mins away) and showed the family how to do the bustle which was a great learning experience for them all.

Lorren is just fabulous. The One I Love is totally worth the drive to find any colour or style bridesmaid dress. I had a blush colour theme in mind and wanted my bridesmaids to be comfortable. They chose a dress and Lorren matched the colour. The dress they chose was from her TrueBride collection. Lorren added buttons to the back of the dress as well as a cowl to make it just fabulous. Her patience and expertise made me feel so at ease. She also was happy doing last minute alterations as one of my bridesmaids lived abroad. Everything was perfect. Thank you for your patience and service Lorren, I cannot recommend you enough.

I purchased my bridesmaids dresses from Lorren, and I can honestly say the level of service we received was second to none. From start to finish, Lorren was an absolute dream to work with. I had 5 girls, one being heavily pregnant & the other a junior bridesmaid. They were beyond delighted with their dresses, and felt absolutely amazing on the day. I have, and will continue to recommend Lorren to any future brides I know.
Response from The One I Love
Laura- you really had the dream bride squad- fittings were so much fun and so easy. We had so much fun at fittings- it never felt like work. Hope to see you again someday!

There are no words that could possibly describe how amazing Lorren is at the one I love dream dresses. Not only did she supply me with the most amazing dresses during the Rose of Tralee festival. She gifted me a beautiful white dress that I wore for night two after our wedding day. She made sure each dress fitted and if not she would make sure it was altered to perfection. Lorren you are such an amazing person and I am so happy I got to meet and work alongside with you ???? you deserve this award because you would go above and beyond for anyone, a heart of gold ?? I can't wait to visit your shop soon and definitely one I love dream dresses deserves so many votes ????

There is no words that could possibly describe how amazing Lorren is at the one I love dream dresses. My wedding dress I had bought did not fit me 6 weeks before my wedding and she got in touch as she wanted to help me. I'm so thankful she did, one cold wet Monday I was exhausted from trying on so many dresses and eventually was going to give up for the day and was half dressed when a dress fell off the hanger in the changing room and she went to see if it was upstairs in my size turned out the exact one that fell was my size and I put it on and I was so overwhelmed with emotion I just cried. It was perfect. Personally I feel this was my late Granny (who only passed 5 months ago) telling me just try this last one for me. It is a day I will never forget for as long as I live to have felt her presence there with me that day because my dear I missed her so much that day. Lorren deserves this award simply because of how much of an amazing, outstanding person she is. Not only is she amazing at what she does but she has the biggest heart I have ever come into contact with. PLEASE vote for the one I love dream dresses!

I can not recommend Lorren @ The One I Love highly enough!!
All the dresses were absolutely stunning, my own dress was altered to perfection. Thanks to a recommendation from Lorren did 2 of the bridesmaids find their ideal dresses.
Lorren was so helpful and accommodating with everyone in the bridal party, including groom and MOB with last minute alterations. She is a very calming and caring presence to be around on the run up to the wedding.
The One I Love should be top on the list to visit for brides, their bridesmaids and flower girls.

I had the pleasure of getting a custom made dress made for me by the lovely talented Lorren. After having a bad experience in a previous bridal shop I was at abit of a loss and then I heard about The One I Love Bridal shop in Ballinlough. I contacted Lorren to arrange an appointment to go and see her. From the second I met Lorren I could tell how passionate she was about what she does. Not just passionate but very professional too. She has a gorgeous range of dresses to suit all shapes and sizes in store but after trying on a few I decided to go for a custom made dress. I had fittings every so often and my dream dress came to life that bit more each time. Lorren is extremely attentive and worked the fittings around days and times that suited me. On the day of our wedding I had so many compliments about the lace detail on my dress. I really did feel like a princess and Lorren was to thank for that. I would highly recommend her.

Lorren is absolutely amazing! I wasn't sure what type of dress I wanted at all as we were having a very small wedding and I didn't want a white dress, but still wanted "bridal". I went in to see Lorren and she asked me some questions about my ideas and pulled out several beautiful dresses for me to try on. I loved different aspects of each and Lorren then designed me my own completely unique dress! She carefully brought together the different aspects I loved to create the dress of my dreams. I had a few fittings while the dress was being created and in each booking Lorren made sure I was happy with everything and suggested tweaks here and there to make it even better. Even on the last fitting she asked if I wanted any final little changes but it was perfect.
On the day of the wedding the dress was easy to put on by myself and was comfortable to wear all day.
Nothing was too much effort, she really went above and beyond and I can't recommend The One I Love highly enough! Totally incredible for friendly service, value and quality.

This is a hidden gem in Ballinlough. Lorren was so pleasant to deal with and nothing was too much trouble for her. She gave great advice on sizing and ordering in the dresses on time. She also did the alternations on my hen dress (a fully sequin dress) which were perfect. Despite having a very busy schedule she was very responsive and attentive. Her main aim was to make sure the dresses were comfortable and fitted perfectly. My bridesmaids looked stunning on the day. We would highly recommend The One I Love Dresses!!

I cannot recommend Lorren highly enough. 'The One I Love' is a special find and Lorren is a gem herself! I had 4 bridesmaids, 2 overseas and one living in Dublin so I was worried how I was going to co-ordinate things. Lorren made the whole process stress-free and made sure the girls were comfortable in their dresses and of course that the dresses arrived on time. She also did the alterations which was great. Lorren really went above and way beyond her duty to make sure the dresses were perfect - thank you! She is such a pleasure to work with and is so responsive to any queries. Thanks again, Deirdre & Juliyan

From the moment myself and my bridesmaids entered Lorren's fab store in Ballinlough, we were made feel so welcome, relaxed and at home. There was never any hard sell, and Lorren's only priority was ensuring that each member of my bridal party would feel comfortable, confident and stunning in their dresses. Lorren felt much more like an old friend than a supplier, and she went above and beyond in so many ways to make sure everything was perfect. Ordering my bridesmaids dresses from The One I Love was one of the best decisions I made throughout the whole of the wedding planning process, and the service from Lorren was simply amazing.

What can I say, Lorren and her team at The One I Love are absolutely amazing at what they do. Lorren designed and made the perfect princess wedding dress for me. Her attention to detail was absolutely amazing. She also supplied me with gorgeous bridal shoes that she designed herself, the perfect shoe for my perfect dress. Not only did she make my dress but she also made my daughters flower girl dress, a mini me of my wedding dress. We were two princesses on their wedding day xx She also made my bridesmaid dress, in hot pink with fabulous embellishment, the perfect fit and looked gorgeous on her. All I can say is a big thank you, you made us all look beautiful, without doubt I would recommend The One I Love xx

I had the most amazing experience with Lauren during the preparation for our wedding. From a mere conversation about what my vision was for our two junior bridesmaids, she created the most beautiful dresses I have ever seen in a wedding party, each dress was made to perfection and each one was slightly different to suit the age and style of the girls. They absolutely stole the show! Nothing was a problem for Lauren,no matter how last minute any idea was,she just pulled everything together and given we all came down with covid 2 weeks before the wedding she pulled out ALL the stops to make us feel amazing on the day and indeed the lead up to it.The One I Love is an fantastic local business, the attention to detail is superb and I have already booked Lauren for my bridesmaid dress for a friends wedding in Toronto this Autumn!

Lorren was an absolute dream to work with. She was patient, kind, creative, insightful, professional and genuinely caring. I had only a rough idea of what I wanted when I first spoke to Lorren and she helped me narrow down options and find my perfect dress. Her work is flawless and she was so accommodating with fittings and viewings. We planned and had our wedding in the height of the pandemic and working with Lorren was seamless and easy, she sent regular pictures and video updates of the dress and different laces she was adding. She added details I requested without hesitation, she even had each of my bridesmaids and my mother sew a piece of lace onto my dress and took pictures of the process. It's a beautiful memory I'll treasure forever and I really appreciate her suggesting we do it. I couldn't have been happier with my dress, it was perfect and I couldn't recommend Lorren and The One I Love enough.
Response from The One I Love
Thank you so much Lynsey for your trust and your kindness. Such a beautiful bride, inside and out

My sister got married in November 2020, and I went to The One I Love (during lockdown, by appointment) for advice about shoes. I don't wear high heels very often and neither does my sister, and we were both concerned about looking good but also feeling comfortable! Lorren recommended some beautiful jewel encrusted black heels for the bridesmaids, with a hidden front platform, and they were very comfortable for the duration of the wedding. My sister settled for a pair of white lace runners for after the photos, and they were a saviour on the day! Lorren also made my sisters incredible custom-made wedding dress using so many layers of lace, but still managing to make the dress look light and flattering. She was stunning and felt so pretty and confident in the dress. The little customised details which were my mam's idea, were able to be added in very easily. My sister wanted a dress that she could move easily in, as she has a toddler and she wanted to be able to dance and run around after her daughter on the day.
I can't recommend Lorren and The One I Love as a shop enough, as a service and as an experience it is the best you can get. I've never been in any other shop that made me feel so special, accommodated our needs, matched our budgets, and exceeded all our expectations. I can't wait for Lorren to make my own wedding dress someday!
Even as a bridesmaid, I found Lorren so helpful with ideas and suggestions. She gives all of her customers such a lovely experience that people return to her again and again, knowing that they will be valued, and accommodated to the highest standards, and with a lovely smile too!
