The Strobes are a 5-piece band from the South East of Ireland. The band are the ultimate function act with some of the region’s most in demand and experienced musicians, coming together to provide an elite live music experience unlike anything else out there.
The Strobes will take you on a journey through several years of the very best musical hits, from Rock n Roll and Golden Oldies, Disco classics from the 70’s, Pop Music from the 80’s and 90’s right up to modern contemporary pop and dance acts from the charts. We had The Strobes play at our wedding on september 5th 2025 and I can honestly say they made the reception. There wasn't a moment where the dance floor wasn't full.
They cater for every age and they were just amazing. Everyone commented on how fantastic they were. I couldn't recommend them enough. If your struggling to chose a wedding band The Strobes are the band for you.

The strobes played at our dream wedding and my god, the voice of their lead singer and the vibe were brilliant! She blew me away with her voice and the musical professionalism of the band was just absolutely amazing. They even let me join in because I had always wanted to sing at my own wedding and made me feel so comfortable. It really was an amazing party because of them

I knew when I got engaged I wanted the strobes to be our wedding band so my delight that they were actually available for our date was the start of what was to be the best night of my life. The dance floor was full all night, the mix of songs was just brilliant and Cathy's voice to top it would give you goosebumps!
The majority of day 2 was spent answering the question of who were the band and where can they see them, it's been nearly 2 weeks, still not over it. Absolute 10/10

Do not hesitate to chose the strobes for your event. The Mixture of music throughout their playlist is amazing 👏
And Cathy's voice is just unbelievable 😍

It was hard to find a band that suited our tastes. The wedding market is full of cookie-cutter outfits all playing the same set of Ed Sheeran or Coronas songs, which is fine if that's what you're into - but we aren't.
We finally found the Strobes and booked them after watching a handful of videos online. We were sold on the setlist, a fantastic mixture of 70s-90s rockers and soulful numbers. And then there was the talent - it's one thing having a great roster of songs, but they have the means of delivering them too.
Suffice to say we were absolutely delighted. What looked good on screen sounded 100 times better in person. We had people at our wedding from all over the world, and with ages spanning nine decades - and everyone, but everyone, loved this performance.
The dancefloor was heaving from the first note 'til the last, and we all had the time of our lives. The band learned our first dance (You Make Loving Fun by Fleetwood Mac) and incorporated it seamlessly into their magnificent set.
We will cherish the memories forever. Thank you, The Strobes, for coming all the way to the northern tip of Fermanagh!

These guys were absolutely incredible! From the moment we inquired about availability to the moment they finished playing at our wedding everything was absolutely amazing. Cathy has a voice like nothing I’ve heard before and she absolutely crushed every single song. The band has a list of first dance songs and ours was not on the list, but they performed our first dance song with no questions asked and absolutely nailed it. All of our guests had an absolute blast out in the dance floor the entire time and they had nothing but great things to say the day after. I would definitely recommend the strobes if you want your guests to have the best night out on the dance floor.

The Strobes were amazing at our wedding, absolutely crushed their set. They had the dance floor full and hopping all evening. So many guests commented that the band was incredible, Sarah especially loved their rendition of Dreams as our first dance and Zombie (which they closed with). Thank you to the band for bringing so much talent, fun and energy to our big day.

The Strobes were absolutely amazing and kept the dancefloor full for the entire night. They work off a brilliant set list and also included a couple of special requests from ourselves. We received so many compliments from our guests on the music and even requests for their details to book for their own weddings. Highly recommend if you're looking for talented musicians and if you're not into the standard wedding band sound but still want to have the dancefloor hopping!

I contacted The Strobes and could not believe just how quick they were to come back to me. Thankfully they were free for my chosen dates but there was no anxious wait for the reply!! They kept in constant contact to make sure any requests I had got fulfilled. On the day itself I swear they were like ninjas setting up, I didnt even notice them and they were ready to play at the exact time I requested. Sure, from the min they started everyone was on the floor and shouting for more when they were finishing up. They accomodated a special surprise I had for my groom too. An absolute class act, extremely professional and just damn good musicians - everything you need in the ideal wedding band!! Cannot recommend highly enough!

The Strobes were simply amazing! They were the perfect wedding band for us. They packed the dance floor and catered for everyone. We can't thank you enough your cool & eclictic set list provided the perfect soundtrack to our perfect day. Mossy & Cal x
