Your Special Happening

An Italian friend from business school recommended Mascia and her team at ?Your Special Happening? to help us organize our wedding after choosing Tuscany as our wedding destination. He and his wife used Mascia to help plan their wedding two years prior and said we could not go wrong working with them. Mascia and Cassandra were absolutely one of the best parts of planning our special weekend at Borgo Stomennano in Monteriggioni, Italy ? I can?t say enough AMAZING things about both of them and the team of vendors they recommended.

First off it is never easy to plan a large international 180 person wedding from across the globe, but with the help of Your Special Happening we were able to throw what I think was one of the most personal, fun and beautiful weddings. Mascia started working with us 15 months in advance of the wedding and guided us every step of the way from picking a unique and gorgeous wedding venue, selecting 5 different accommodation locations for our family and guests and finally supporting us in all the preparation leading up to the wedding. We planned five separate events ranging from the Palio horse race in Siena, a 160 person welcome cocktail and sit down dinner, a church service and elaborate reception/party, an all day brunch party, and a 50 person family/wedding party dinner on Sunday evening to end the celebrations.

My favorite part of working with Mascia is that she truly listened and understood the vision we had for our wedding weekend. We are very organized and Type A people and she truly delivered on exactly what we asked for down to the smallest details. My husband and I also completely trusted Mascia?s fantastic recommendations throughout the process and our guests commented that the food and wedding logistics were some of the best they had ever experienced. Mascia has excellent relationships with all the vendors she works with and as a result we had a great time working with the caterer, the hair/makeup team, the florist, the transportation provider, the priest, and the DJ/ live musicians. Mascia also worked with us to allocate our budget to the things we cared about the most. The actual wedding weekend (July 4th, 2015) went off without a hitch because Mascia and Cassandra were there the entire time to orchestrate everything and attend to anything that came up so we were completely worry free.

Beyond always being there for us, Mascia and Cassandra helped all our guests organize travel and enjoy their trips to Tuscany for the wedding. All of our guests raved about Mascia and Cassandra and a few engaged friends are considering using their services to plan their own weddings. We are so grateful for our wonderful wedding planning process and weekend celebration and cannot thank Mascia and Cassandra enough!!
