Planning our wedding couldn't have been better, with all the normal upside downs but everything great throughout the planning and the end.

The wedding day was as dreamed and more. Decoration details, the amazing views, gifts, organization...

As the couple, we personally enjoyed it to the fullest, as well as all our guests.

The food was one of the best parts, as it was utterly delicious.

We got married in the new outdoor area of the Bay Hotel in summer of June 2025 and it was the most stunning day. Tee was unbelievably helpful and put us at ease straight away, she came up with ideas we never even thought of which just shows her amazing attention to detail. During the dinner, of the staff were so attentive and couldn’t have been more helpful. The service was so on point and there were no delays, the whole day went off perfectly and all of our guests couldn’t speak highly enough of the staff and service. Truly grateful to Tee and the staff for their part in our special day.

My husband and I got married in the Arklow Bay on October 11th 2024. From start to finish we cannot fault the Arklow bay. We were greeted by the events manager back in October 2022 to discuss the Arklow Bay as a possible venue. All of our questions were answered, we were given a tour of the hotel and shown so many different options for the day. When we saw the decor and set up, we both fell in love with the venue and knew we couldn’t have our dream wedding anywhere else. We worked closely with Tee the wedding Co ordinator and she was amazing. She answered all of our emails and texts in a timely manner, she took all of the stress off us and really presented our day beautifully. All of our guests were very impressed with the hotel, particularly the menu and the service from the staff. Every guests was very well looked after and all of the staff were amazing.

Having Tee as our wedding coordinator made the entire wedding planning process so easy. She is incredible at her job and nothing was too much trouble. The venue was great and the food was fabulous, I’m a vegetarian and I found the food to be absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend The Arklow Bay Hotel.

I personally found the process of planning with the bay very easy, tee was brilliant and so helpful throughout this time. However, as you can imagine a lot of my time and money went into our wedding and I felt that on the day we just did not get the service that we should have.
Service: on the morning of your wedding day you expect to have someone there from early morning who checks in, makes sure the day is running smoothly and just be at hand to the bridal party… I did not have any of that, instead I was running around the morning of my wedding to try help suppliers as there was apparently nobody there. When I tried to discuss my concerns with reception I was told there isn’t going to be anyone in until 10.30 and 12 o clock! That is just not acceptable, there should have been someone there from 8 that morning to assist with the wedding. I was to decide on the morning of the wedding if it was going ahead outdoors or indoors and then they would be back and forth with the decor company….. nobody was there ? After the wedding I was told there actually was a manager there from early morning.. who never once came near the bridal party?
Table planning: went out the window, my tables were completely wrong, I had my family sitting at the back of the room. I spent weeks as every couple nearly does trying to get the tables right, as most weddings your immediate family sits in front of the bridal table…. Mine were at the back of the room. By the time I had noticed when I sat down for dinner it was too late to do anything. I can’t understand why or how this went wrong but this is one thing that did really affect my day… it was a matter of following a plan that was set out and putting a number on a table?
Decor: apparently some of my decor “they couldn’t find” when I went to collect my decor after the wedding I found straight away. I spent a lot of money on having a photo done up of my family, that was to be signed from guests so we could hang it up at home. It was A2 so quite large, apparently couldn’t find it.
I spent money on getting personalised tags done for sparklers for there to be a photo taken with all our guests, with a sign of time it would take place… they couldn’t be found either apparently so iv no sparklers photographed. More money wasted…. But magically they appeared near the end of the night.
As part of our ceremony, our sand kit was misplaced… thankfully found before hand but yet another issue.
Staff service: apart from having no one there the morning of the wedding for the bridal party, there was so many issues that happened on the day.
The electricity they couldn’t get working for our singers so we were lucky enough to get that going before the bridal car arrived for me to walk down the aisle.
The microphone during reception kept going… not one staff member to assist only for our best man to have to get up to try sort.
No one to direct guests to outdoor ceremony which meant I was delayed in going up to the ceremony. I had to ring the front desk at 1.45 to tell them to get the people up to the ceremony… my wedding was to start at 1.30.
Bridal suite… disaster… my wedding was at 1.30… I was let in at 5 past 1 to get into my dress… try get photos an do a reveal with my dad. I was so rushed an panicked.. I actually got upset in this room as to how the morning was going. My photographer was running around trying to find my flowers and any other jobs he could help with.


The list really goes on.

All in all, myself, husband and guests had a ball and although I knew of all these issues my guests didn’t (thankfully).
I felt let down, money time and effort was wasted and to be honest if I was to be able to go back and change my the location for my wedding I would… which is upsetting. We had all of our wedding paid for well in time, we expected the service we paid for… to which we did not get.

Craig and myself got married here in August. We had the most amazing day from start to finsh. We cannot thank the staff enough. Tee was absolutely fantastic. The day ran so smoothly and all our guest raved about the food atmosphere everything thank you all very much for making our dream wedding day a success

We got married 5th July and we were absolutely astounded at the quality and service the Arklow Bay provided. Tee the wedding co ordinator was extremely professional and the team on the day looked after us so well. Photos taken within the beautiful surroundings. We would highly recommend the Arklow Bay to all potential wedded couples.

This hotel was phenomenal. Tee our wedding coordinator was highly responsive and nothing was too much hassle.

From day one we were relaxed and calm about the day itself because of the professionalism shown.

We got married in the hotel suite and had the reception in the hotel downstairs. Both rooms were stunning and could not fault. The ceremony room had a recent renovation.

Food at the dinner was prompt and absolutely delicious and the portions were huge.

The honeymoon suite was amazing and the little small add ins were gratefully appreciated. The hotel supplied us with champagne in our room with chocolates and 2 personalised champagne glasses. A really nice touch.

Colm had the run of the reception and was brilliant and his staff were amazing.

If you are picking somewhere in Wicklow for your wedding then this is the place to go.

We recently got married in the Arklow Bay hotel and we couldn't of asked for a better venue.

The staff were all amazing and accommodating.

Tee our wedding coordinator was amazing we told her exactly what we wanted and she delivered on it.

All our guest were raving about the food especially the risotto.

The special touches and the way all the rooms were decorated I couldn't of imagined anything better and the kids had an area for themselves and loved it.

I wanted a stress free day where I didn't have to worry about a thing and that is what I got, once I handed everything over I knew it was in good hands.

We recently had our wedding at the Arklow Bay and we had an amazing day, everything from the start to finish was absolutely brilliant.
The staff were just out of this world and the little touches added made the day extra special.

The day flew by and everyone at the wedding were raving about how unbelievable the staff were.
Just to name a few but Dick, Sue, Colm, Scott & Shauna and the food by Aine were just out of this world.

The coordinators were just incredible. Dante kept in contact for the whole year running up to the wedding. Any changes were zero issue and she handled everything with upmost professionalism. We even had an issue with a supplier and Dante saved the day for us and found a new supplier last minute. The service was amazing on the day. The food was amazing all piping hot and our guests raved about the quality of the food. The bar staff were fun and super friendly ! Overall they made our day so perfect I just couldn't have wished for better! Dante truly is a credit to the Bay Hotel.

We got married in the Arklow Bay in November 22 and had the best day of our lives. The hotel went above and beyond for us and we are forever grateful. I would highly recommend this venue to anybody considering having their wedding in the Arklow Bay.

Everything was amazing. I stayed the night before which meant the morning was so relaxed. The gm checked in with my during breakfast as we hoping for an outdoor ceremony but the weather didn't play ball. Other than that the day ran so smoothly, the guests were very impressed by the food and how relaxed we were. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy at all times throughout the day. Would highly recommend the Arklow Bay Hotel and would easily do it all again

We had our wedding in the Arklow Bay Hotel on 18th February 2022 after postponing from August due to covid.
I could not rate the hotel highly enough. The day was everything I dreamed it would be and it was down to a wonderful team in the hotel!
The wedding coordinator Dant? is an absolute dream, anything I asked was never too much trouble, any worries I had she put my mind at ease every time! The day was seamless, the service was spectacular and the food was outstanding as always!
The room was just stunningly decorated down the finest detail, everything was perfect!
The manager Dick, Dant? and Colm and all the team at the Bay were on hand all day to make sure everything we needed was taken care of! There were no food delays, the bar staff also were exceptional at keeping everyone topped up with drinks all day and night! Our drinks reception was upstairs and it was stunning, everyone was talking about how great it was, it was like a little pre wedding arrival area for us all!

We are so extremely grateful to everyone for making our day so so special and couldn't thank everybody enough for their hard work and commitment to making sure we had the wedding of our dreams!

We had the most amazing wedding day in the Arklow Bay on 23rd September 21. Eimear was our wedding organiser and from the very get go she was so so amazing, I didn't have to worry about a thing and she had everything planned to perfection . We had planned a church wedding however last minute we decided on civil ceremony in the Arklow Bay and they were so accommodating and made it all just so easy! They arranged all the decorations for ceremony room and it was genuinely beautiful. We were also lucky with weather and had an outside reception and it was gorgeous. Every member of staff were good fun and very helpful. Couldn't recommend the venue enough, anything we asked was no problem and they go above and beyond.

From start to finish myself and James had the best day we could imagine and it wouldn't be possible without you and your team.

The location, food, drinks, staff and atmosphere was amazing.

All my family and friends couldn't complement the hotel enough, some saying best food they ever had at a wedding and complementing staff that they went above and beyond.

My cousin who had canceled her wedding during Covid said it made her want to rebook her day. But honestly it was out of this world, any thing we asked for we got without a problem and you gave us the most amazing day we could imagine.

Can't thank you and the team enough I'll be recommending anyone I know getting married to consider the Arklow Bay, you know your business and you do it so well. The only down side of the 2 days was it went so fast and we wish we could do it all over again.

Not one person had more than 2 photos so just goes to show how much people were enjoying themselves that they hadn't got their phones in their hands. I myself haven't go one photo lol

The Arklow Bay Hotel- the perfect wedding venue. We had our wedding here& I can honestly say, it was the perfect venue. From the first viewing, we felt so welcome& comfortable& knew straight away this was our perfect wedding venue. The hotel is simply stunning& so are the surrounding areas. The gardens, the lake& the sea make for breathtaking photo backgrounds. The graffiti area& the industrial background provide a more alternative atmosphere, which was perfect for us. The staff in the Arklow Bay Hotel were always so friendly, helpful& could not have been nicer. Everybody made sure we had the best weekend ever. Eimear, the hotel's wedding coordinator was such a pleasure to deal with& having around on the wedding day. She answered all of our questions& was as accommodating as possible with any requests. Eimear listened to all of our ideas& showed a genuine interest in what we wanted which translated to the perfect d?cor& atmosphere on the day. Thanks to Eimear we had the most magical day. All I can say about the food is that everything was amazing. The portions were generous& every single guest was full& more than happy, what more could you asked for. We couldn't have picked a better venue for our ceremony& can't wait to come back for our wedding party in the Arklow Bay Hotel next year. Thanks so much

Amazing Venue, amazing staff absolutely perfect for us. The staff could not do more for us and it's the same everytime we have been down since. The food is amazing. We had the best day of our lives. Fantastic spot for anyone getting married great places for photos around the grounds and function room is gorgeous with chandeliers and lighting. I would recommend to anyone to get married here.

Getting married, as everybody knows, involves a lot of planning and preparation. Organising a wedding mid ? pandemic added much uncertainty and nervousness too. But for Andrew and I, choosing the Arklow Bay Hotel for our reception was the best decision. From our first encounter with the wedding co ? ordinator, Eimear, and her team, we were made to feel at ease straight away. They listened to all our ideas and accommodated everything we asked for. We had the complete wedding experience, from start to finish, despite the restrictions. The surroundings are just beautiful too and this made for some fabulous photos. The day passed without a hitch and that was all down to Eimear and the team. We were treated like a King and Queen for the day. We would highly recommend the Arklow Bay Hotel for fabulous service, food and an unforgettable wedding experience.

We had our wedding in October 2020 in the Arklow Bay Hotel. Eimear and Shauna could not have been more helpful to us throughout the planning stages and on our special day. The meal was fantastic and the venue looked amazing. The staff were so helpful and the service was impeccable. We were so happy we had our wedding with them. We would highly recommend the Arklow Bay Hotel and thank them for contributing to our special day.

We had settled on settling our date for our wedding the 22nd of July 2021 after putting it off for years, so let's go hunting for a venue.

We had viewed about 6 different venues before we went to visit the Arklow bay hotel, upon arrival we both met Dick the General manager who made us both feel welcomed and brought us into the wedding show case, it was very well layed out. The wedding coordinator Eimear was talking with another couple when we arrived so Dick proceeded to talk with us about themes and colours for our big day, dates etc even went as far as to change the lighting in the room to Teal which is and was Elizabeth's ideal wedding colour.

He brought us around the hotel and showed us the bridal suite, indoor and outdoor venue, for where the weddings are held if the weather allows for it which we had planned for being the 22nd of July 2021.

Dick showed us the wedding menu's available to us and the packages on offer, we wanted as little hassle as possible and the more we could deligate the better, we have 2 young kids and I'm a chef so the less we have to do the better, We went for the top package (I think) ????. Basically all we had to do was source dresses, suits and rings everything else was looked after by Eimear and the crew from the Arklow Bay.

So we booked the date and started the journey to the wedding we wanted and had planned in our head for years.

We had continued contact the whole way through the process and then boom Global pandemic, Covid-19 landed in Ireland late January and grew to be a bride and grooms worst nightmare, we were hearing of weddings having to be cancelled and postponed until further notice and we had started to panic then.

Around the middle of May we had Contin plated postponing the wedding as the Covid-19 cases where growing too fast that it looked as if we wouldn't get our big day on our 7th year anniversary of going out together.

Eimear was fantastic at first we taught we could get away with reducing the numbers to 50 instead of 100 guests and we hoped it would be enough that if restrictions we're still in place we could proceed but, that was not the case we there was a full level 5 restriction in affect, so we had to postpone until 22nd of July 2022.


In the end we were lucky enough that restrictions started to lift early June as cases dropped and the race was back on, after postponing the wedding by a year we got back in contact with Eimear to try go for our original date of the 22nd of July 2021, with 5 weeks to go to the big day it was going to be a push.

Eimear and the crew got everything back on track to go ahead with 2021 and we where laughing we could have 50 guest but we only ended up have 37 in total which was fantastic everything on the day in the hotel went off without a single problem.

We had originally planned on a outdoor wedding and the forecast was set to look good and in traditional Irish style the morning of the big day it rained ????, so we where forced to move it indoors which wasn't a problem at all the Staff got it all sorted in a matter of a few hours.

Our Room was beautifully decorated and very well Laid out that all the guests could be in full view of the top table and in turn we could see everyone of our guests, we obviously hoped we could have had more guests but unfortunately with the pandemic it just wasn't an option, we had friends and family stuck in Australia and China that couldn't get home for the big day unfortunately.


The food was fabulous, we had been very fussy about other venue's s due to the menus and food choices on offer as I am a chef and I also had a few chef friends on the guest lists, after our event in the hotel they gave us permission to sit out in the garden after the wedding and we light candles and about 15 of us sat there until early hours of the next morning, if ever there was a mental picture of a relaxed and comfortable wedding this was it and all thanks to Eimear, Dick and the rest of the Staff at the Arklow bay, Without them we would not of had the day we did.

I had you pestered in the last 2 weeks and you just took it all on and were amazing. The morning of the wedding everyone was good with Brian, again nothing was too much trouble. We couldn't recommend Eimear and the team highly enough.. from start to finish we felt as if our wedding was their priority. No request was too much and all of our personal touches were encouraged and met. Our wedding day was amazing. We felt so relaxed and enjoyed every minute ourselves. No words are enough to describe our wedding at the Arklow Bay Hotel and we are so happy that we chose here as our venue. We can't thank the wonderful staff and Eimear enough for everything!! Its such a lovely hotel, the food, the rooms, the staff everything about it is just so lovely and so welcoming . From the get go nothing was ever too much trouble, anything we wanted or needed for our big day was never a problem. Eimear our wedding Coordinator was just brilliant, always on hand for whatever our needs and really went above and beyond for us! The food at our meal was second to none and everyone commented on how nice it was. We were lucky to be able to use there fabulous new refurbished ballroom, so we were delighted with that. I suppose the icing on the cake for us was being able to have our ceremony outdoors on the beautiful grounds of the Arklow Bay overlooking the lake, we really could of been anywhere in the world with the weather and sunshine we got, for September it was just amazing and the whole set up outside for the ceremony was just beautiful. Jim and I had our wedding in the Asgard Suite at the Arklow Bay on Aug 15th 2019. We live in London so the fact that we had Eimear on the end of the phone or email made everything so much easier for us in the planning stages. Our thoughts and ideas were listened to and taken on board but more importantly stuff we did not even think about was presented to us in a friendly and thoughtful manner. On the day itself everything was perfect. Our guests were blown away by the friendliness of all the hotel staff and by the quality of service particularly in the serving of the meal. The food was stunning and many of our guests do not live in Ireland so they were amazed at how much food there was! it was truly a perfect day due to the experience and dedication of all at the Arklow Bay.

On the 10th of August this year.Myself and my husband had our wedding reception in the arklow bay hotel.From the day we booked our wedding the staff could not have been more helpful and accomadating to our every need .Eimear in particular was amazing to deal with.On our big day everything was exactly as we wanted,all the staff at the arklow bay could not have done any more for ourselves and all of our guests.The food in particular was beautiful and is still been spoken about among our family and friends.We would highly recommend the hotel to anyone planning their big day,everyone knows how stressful planning a wedding can be but all the staff made it much less stressfull.We regularly stay in the hotel and will continue to do so .

From our first visit to the arklow bay we fell in love with it, to the food, the views, the lake and most importantly the staff we knew we would not want to get married anywhere else.

We booked our wedding 18 months before the wedding day and as any couple planning a wedding you want to be in contact with them, which was never an issue, no question was ever to big or small, the staff at the arklow bay always wanted to help any way they can.

Like any wedding guests at a wedding the main things they will always remember is the food and music and craic
The food was amazing, I still have guests 3 weeks later saying it to me about cleaning off their plates,

If you are lucky enough to have good weather get married at the lake, you will not regret it, an amazing experience it's truly beautiful down there the way the wedding is set up, how often can you get married outside in Ireland, the room in the hotel that ceremony would be in is also beautiful lit up with candles and flowers

The bay suite has been fully renovated this year and it's a gorgeous room for the reception,

All in all I would recommend the arklow bay for anyone getting married it truly is an amazing hotel, from Eimear, Musa, Shauna and Dean and all the staff in the arklow bay we couldn't be more grateful for all they did to make our day one to remember.

Well what can I say about The Arklow Bay Hotel. We had our wedding there on the 6th of July 2019. Eimear and Shauna they both work so hard and all the staff where amazing. They kept everything going so smoothly and down to the last detail. We are so happy that we got to have our wedding at The Arklow Bay Hotel from Jen and Des Coughlan .

Thank you so much for making our day so special and unforgettable. Your staff really went above and beyond to make sure we all had a brilliant day, and we really did! We especially want to thank your amazing sous chef Aine who created the perfect vegan menu for us. Everyone was raving about it, including all the meat eaters there (who didn't ?chicken? out)!
Another special thanks has to go to our wedding coordinator Eimear who was with us every step of the way, ensuring everything was planned perfectly. We barely had to think of anything; we just enjoyed every minute of the day.
We have gotten nothing but good feedback from our guests about your lovely staff who provided amazing service all day. Yet another special thanks has to go to your night porter who went so far as to drop some guests home in the early hours of the morning when they couldn't get a taxi.
There's nothing bad we can say about The Arklow Bay Hotel. The service we received was as good as any 5 star hotel. We would recommend The Arklow Bay to anyone, especially any vegan couples out there. You?ll be sure to have one of the best days of your life for a fantastic price!

We had our beautiful wedding reception in The Arklow Bay Hotel in May 2019, what a magical experience it was. Every detail better than the last. To say the team was helpful is an understatement, Eimear our wedding coordinator pulled out all the stops nothing was too big or too small from changing function rooms to helping choose the centre pieces, Eimear truly took the stress away from the planning. On arrival we were made feel the top priority of the from the time we drove up to the door both Eimear and Dick were there to welcome us, Dick couldn't have been more helpful from carrying bouquets and making sure my dress didn't drag on the ground, a true gentleman. The food was second to none, every course better than the last nothing was too big of an ask. We truly were made feel like royalty during our time at the hotel. I couldn't recommend The Arklow Bay enough to anyone thinking of getting married there from the scenery to the food but especially the staff who are so professional, helpful and most of all kind and mannerly. Our experience for our wedding was truly magical, I wish we would do it all over again.

We had our big day on the 11th of May. Couldnt thank the team enough. From early talks with eimear and her continuous help during what can be a very stressful journey, she was an absolute dream. To shauna and the team for the service that we received. Marguerite and Zara in the bay beauty rooms pulled out all the stops for my bridal party. We had the best day, as did our friends & family. We would highly recommend for future brides and grooms.

Our Wedding Coordinator Eimear O' Brien and her team was OUTSTANDING. From our early preparations and planning they were 100% behind us all the way.
The Hotel itself its beautiful surroundings and the friendly staff made Our day more Special. The food was delicious. Every one that attended Our Wedding enjoyed the day. We would highly recommend this Hotel for that Very Special Day.

We got married in Arklow Bay hotel in April. We chose this hotel as we found it to be excellent value and the staff were so lovely when we went to their open day. Leading up to the big day our wedding coordinator Eimear couldn't have been nicer and made everything stress free for us. As we got married in the hotel itself, we didn't even need to worry about flowers or church decorations etc as the hotel organised all of this for us as part of our package. We were able to have our drinks reception outside which our guests loved as the hotel has beautiful grounds and is only a stone's throw from the beach. The actual reception itself was wonderful. The room was stunning and all of our guests raved about the food and how friendly the staff were. I would highly recommend Arklow Bay to any couple looking for a wedding venue...Thanks so much to all the staff who went out of their way to make our day so special it was greatly appreciated!!

I would highly recommend this hotel. Orla and the staff are fantastic. They were so friendly, informative and extremely helpful. From the moment we met Orla we knew we were in good hands, she's simply amazing at her job. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful, the majority of our guests commented on the polite friendly staff. The food was to die for, again all guests were raving about how good the food was, some guests said they?re were so happy that every course came out hot and not just warm. The hotel and grounds are fab also, some beautiful picturesque photo opportunities on the grounds. Guests even commented on how efficient the staff were at check in with so many arriving at the same time. We had platters of food the next day and they were fab also. I honestly could not fault anything here, it was just perfect. Well done to this hotel on having such a fabulous team of staff there.

Wonderful service from start to finish, Orla our coordinator was brilliant and Marguerite from the Bay Beauty rooms was amazing. The couldn't do enough for us.

We can not fault this hotel. We had an amazing wedding, they were very accommodating and very helpful. Orla, the wedding coordinator went above and beyond. The reception staff were amazing help the morning of, when a couple of things went wrong they assured me it would all work out and helped in fixing it. The bar staff and waiters were amazing and not one issue arose. Very professional and very nice. It was brilliant. Great quality and the food was gorgeous.
