We can't fault The Castle Hotel, from getting in touch to book our wedding to the little touches along the way to an amazing day. We would highly recommend it to any couple for their wedding. Our guests are still talking about it how friendly all the staff are and how they will definitely go back again for a weekend away or similar.
The Castle was everything we wanted and more for our wedding! From the moment we went in to make an enquiry to our wedding day they really looked after us in every way! Kay the wedding co-ordinarie helped us so much and made the whole organising so easy for us! All our guests really enjoyed the day! Thank you to all in the Castle Hotel for making our wedding such an enjoyable stress free day!
We are from Sligo and chosen Gougane Barra as our location for our wedding. We got in touch with Castle Hotel in Macroom. We spoke to the wedding coordinator Kay over the phone and penciled in the date. We had a night down in Macroom a month later to meet with Kay and discuss our plans for our day. Kay when through everything even down to getting a bus for our guest to get out to Gougane Barra. Since we were having a 4pm wedding we wanted everyone to have a nice relaxing day as well since they traveled down for our special day. There were alot of emails back and fort from Kay in the months up to our wedding.
We arrived down a few days before our wedding. Kay went through everything with us. We were so happy with the service we received and our families from all the staff at the Castle Hotel.
Our Wedding day was so relaxed and that's Thanks to the Castle Hotel. They thought of everything and we didn't have to worry. It was the best day of our life celebrated with family and the Castle Hotel family.
