Beautiful venue with amazing food. Overall an extremely positive experience. Flexible to deal with and very responsive. Easy to organise a wedding from abroad. Unfortunately the venue is a bit limited in where it can accommodate guests due to noise restrictions (neighbours known to complain). This was a shame for us as it was a very hot weekend so the doors to the ballroom couldn't be opened at night time and the room got too warm with all the dancing. We had a few small hiccups on the weekend with practical things (i.e. not enough chairs at the ceremony, florist's delivery misplaced, some wrong beers in beer bath) that we felt more hands-on management on the day could have prevented. We also had a disagreement about menu items - we had been told we would have sustainable line caught fish but had farmed fish on the day. Again, we were extremely happy overall and any negatives were minor.

Amazing, beautiful, unique venue and team of people to deal with. My only wish is that I get to be a guest at a wedding here in the future. Food was fantastic. Nothing negative. We had the best day of our lives with all our family and friends. Thanks to Julie and team at Cloughjordan House

It was literally a dream come true. The venue was absolutely amazing and so accommodating. Lesley was awesome to work with. It was everything we wanted and more. Far exceeded expectations. Oh and can’t forget to mention the food. The food was SOOO GOOD

We had the best outdoor wedding at the most amazing venue in Cloughjordan House. It was like a mini holiday for all the guests as we a had a 3 day wedding. Guests still rave about how amazing the wedding was. Highly recommend for anyone that wants a unique experience for their wedding.

There aren't enough words to describe how perfect CJH is for your wedding. We had the most incredible two day wedding there that exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked through the gates on our first viewing we knew it was the place for us. The food, the grounds and the best staff any business could wish for really makes for the ideal day. The support throughout our numerous date changes and constant uncertainty was incredible. All our guests commented not just on the venue and food but how amazing Julie and everyone working there was. We cannot recommend them more.

We booked Cloughjordan having not visited it but, based on word of mouth and social media. Eventually got to meet Julie & team and see the place 4 weeks before the wedding. It was better than we expected. Julie was very professional and extremely helpful at each step, which helped take pressure of us for a lot of things on the day. For our wedding weekend we a had meal the night before with our 30 guests which was delicious, the location is incredible and the staff are excellent, as was the accommodation (in the main house and “cow shed”) and the food. Especially breakfast. Will definitely be going back for a staycation sometime and would highly recommend Cloughjordan as a wedding venue.

We had the most fabulous experience with Cloughjordan House for our wedding day. There was absolutely nothing about the service, setting, food, accommodation or planning that I could fault. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. Julie our wedding coordinator was absolutely fabulous, so amenable and responsive to all my questions and emails on the lead up to the day. On the day all our guests were blown away with the gorgeous setting and we were so lucky to have great weather to enjoy the lawns and gardens. The dogs were a big hit with everyone and gave a real homely sense to the surroundings. Staff were so attentive but not in your face which was so lovely and everyone felt so welcome. The food was excellent as we knew it would be. Honestly we would recommend this venue to any couple.

We had our wedding at Cloughjordan house on the 21.02.2020. Jessica made all the planning incredibly seamless. Peter, Sarah and all the staff are absolutely fantastic and we could not of dreamed of a more perfect wedding weekend. We would highly recommend this venue to any couple.

We held our wedding reception in Cloughjordan House in January and what can we say... WOW! The whole experience was fantastic. From our first meeting with wedding coordinator Jessica, we were blown away. CJH is the most beautiful venue, with so many different elements that make it so unique. We are total foodies, our whole family is and we have nothing but fantastic compliments about the meal. Our guests were blown away by the standard and quality of the venue, the staff and especially the food. The beauty of having an exclusive venue is that you have the freedom to enjoy the whole setting without worrying about disturbing other guests. The whole weekend felt like a holiday for our whole family.

The team at Cloughjordan House made our dream come true. From start to finish, the planning and execution of our big day was perfect. Jessica is a calmest, most patient and thorough event planner we have ever worked with. Cloughjordan House is the perfect canvas, being a beautifully decorated venue even before you add any personal touches. The house itself is a striking backdrop. The options for structuring the day were clearly laid out, allowing us to create the day we wanted. The accommodation is superb and so unique. Our guests remarked on the quirkiness and attention to detail of the accommodation. They may have taken more photos of the stunning rooms than they did of other aspects of the wedding! We got married onsite and stayed the night before. The food on the day was of the highest quality and our guests were blown away by the standard. No one had ever had a wedding meal quite like it. We would recommend the venue to any couple looking for a relaxed atmosphere, beautiful photo opportunities, options in relation to the structure of the day and the most remarkable food.

My husband and I were married in Cloughjordan House last December and cannot recommend it enough as a wedding venue. Absolutely everything about CJH is so special and we had the most amazing wedding weekend with them. The venue itself is so unique and manages to be laidback, stylish, cool, rustic and glamorous all at the same time! It really is a magical place. The woodshed, marquee, 17th century ballroom and asado are stunning. The accommodation is quirky and cool but so comfortable, with unique and thoughtful touches. There are so many places in CJH and its grounds that are perfect for photographs, even in the depths of winter. Every single person who works in CJH is professional, attentive, easygoing, helpful and so friendly. We felt like CJH was our home for the weekend and every thing we needed was catered for. Jessica our wedding co-ordinator is fantastic- warm and unflappable, attentive and understanding. The owners Sarah and Peter are fabulous hosts and so down to earth. All of the staff are superb and really looked after us with great humour. You can really tell that they love working at CJH and they create the lovely personal atmosphere we enjoyed during our stay. They were all so lovely and thoughtful. The food was just sublime too- all our guests raved about it with many saying that it was the best food they had ever eaten at a wedding. We really love the CJH ethos with its food grown onsite or locally sourced. Their breakfast is to die for- perfect for the sore heads the day after the wedding. And the food we had in the asado the night before and after the wedding was so delicious too- I really can't rave about it enough. I really cannot explain what a wonderfully special place Cloughjordan House is. Every single one of our guests commented on what a unique, superb venue it is and they all absolutely loved it! We love it so much that we visited it again last weekend for their Italian Feast and intend to go back as often as we can. CJH is a place that you will become so attached to and will never want to leave. They made sure that our wedding day was the most wonderful day of our lives and we will truly treasure the memories we made at this remarkable wedding venue. Make sure to put Cloughjordan House top of your list of venues to visit- you really will fall in love with it!

We had our absolute dream wedding day in Cloughjordan House. The staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend this wedding venue to any couple looking for somewhere special, relaxed and unique for their wedding day.

We had the most enjoyable time at Cloughjordan house for our Wedding in September. The venue was amazing, with a lovely chilled out atmosphere. The food and staff were second to none & everyone really went out of their way to make our guests feel right at home. We stayed for 2 days, it was brilliant. I would love to do it all again.

The dust has settled after returning from Cloughjordan for our wedding celebrations. As a hotelier I was extremely picky in my venue selection and wanted something that strayed away from the typical wedding setting. In chosing Cloughjordan I certainly achieved this and so much more. The celebrations began with a BBQ in the asado the night before the main event. I was keen for our guests to mingle the day before and be on site the morning of to enjoy the grounds. So many people commented on the atmosphere this created and added to a relaxed day. I would highly highly recommend a day before gathering for this reason. I was aware cloughjordan is a venue that puts a lot of emphasis on food so it didn't surprise me that everything that touched our lips was exquisite throughtout our few days there. However I was so pleased countless numbers of our guests were in awe at the quality of the food, flavours, presentation and variety (particularly at the breakfast buffet). I have never been to a wedding where people mention the owners names so much. Upon discussing the wedding with friends and family afterwards, the names Sarah and Peter came up regularly in conversation as if they too were guests at our ours. It appeared they spoke to every guest attending the day. Again as a hotelier I could not believe how accessible they were thoughout the few days. Be it Peter taking my uncle off to show him the vegetable area or Sarah sitting down having a cup of tea at breakfast with my friend discussing their favourite restaurant in London (which my friend has now booked for us to go sample). Both Sarah and Peter have a fantastic skill for remembering names and made an impression on so many of our guests. Their incredible hospitality extends to their staff members as well - the wedding co ordinator Jessica was always quick to respond to my many email queries with precision and efficiency. On the wedding day she was always discreetly in the background without interfering but if I ever wanted a cup of tea (I drink a lot of tea) there was a fresh pot put in front before I had even the chance to ask. I cannot thank the venue enough for everything they have done for both of us and my expectations were truly exceeded.

Saturday went off with the only hitch it should have, and it was utterly fantastic! We can’t thank Jessica enough for all of her help and coordination, and endless patience. Emma, Sarah and Peter, the kitchen and serving staff, barbecuers and literally every member of staff we met over the weekend looked after us and our guests so attentively, it is an incredible team. Our friends and families can’t stop talking about the venue, the food, and the weekend as a whole. Every detail was well thought through. P.S. We so appreciated that you sought us out during our photos to make sure we got some of the canapés! The food was delicious from start to end, and blew people away!

We got married at Cloughjordan House in August 2019 and we couldn't express in words how amazing it was! From our wedding coordinator Jessica, to the incredible staff and the stunning house and venue itself,the food & wine was incredible! every one of our guests were blown away!They even want to go back and do it all again! From the moment we emailed to set up a viewing we were welcomed with the most amazing kindness and hospitality. So professional and so kind! Everything you need when planning one of the biggest days of your life!We are forever grateful to all the staff at CJH for helping make our wedding day so special!

CJH was the first venue we looked at when we were looking for a wedding venue - and we booked it on the spot. We wanted a relaxed, cosy alternative to the usual hotel wedding venue and we certainly found it at CJH. Having been to countless weddings over the years, I knew instinctively that CJH was something different. If you want to offer your guests a real luxury experience, with amazing food and wine - this is the place for you. Peter and Sarah (the owners), Jessica (the wedding coordinator) and all the staff could not do enough for us. We even returned 2 weeks ago for their Italian foodie night and cannot wait to go back there again. If you are getting married and want to impress your guests, then look no further. Best decision we made!

My husband and I had our wedding at Cloughjordsn House on July 26th. We opted to also stay the night before and have a meal with close family and friends and could not have been happier with our decision. The whole two days were just perfect. The food was outstanding and so many of our guests said it was the best they've ever had at a wedding. Jessica, the wedding planner, was so helpful and navigated the whole thing with professionalism and ease which made for the most relaxed and chilled out wedding...which was exactly what we wanted! We really wanted something a little different for our wedding, and that's exactly what we got at CJH. The grounds and house are beautiful, the rooms are unique and top quality, the food is out of this world, the atmosphere is magical and the service is second to none. If you're looking for a little bit of a twist on the traditional wedding, something a little special with personality and individuality.....then look no further than Cloughjordan House. The most important thing to us was for our guests to have the best food, drinks and laughs and to feel at ease, and that's exactly what we got. Thanks to the team for the best wedding weekend!

Everyone at CJH were so amazing and accommodating in the lead up and on our wedding day. We held our festivities over 2 days over a weekend, and every single one of our guests, young and old, Irish and from overseas couldn't say enough good things about CJH. The food was divine and the location is incredible. Couldn't have wished for a better place to have gotten married. This place is just made for making happy memories!

Cloughjordan House is absolutely outstanding in every way. We got married there last week. Our ceremony was in the beautiful woodshed. The venue, staff, food and accommodation are all equally fantastic. Jessica is the most memorable person I have had the pleasure to deal with professionally and also on a personal level. All the staff were brilliant, attentive and most importantly genuine. The food was simply the best! Sarah and Peter were so welcoming. Our wedding was incredibly special and celebrating it in Cloughjordan House with the wonderful staff and fantastic food made the day absolutely perfect.

My partner and I got married in Cloughjordan House this spring. It is an absolutely fantastic venue. The food was beautiful and the entire team couldn't have been more helpful or friendly from the first moment we met them.
