The Connemara Coast hotel was our choice for our wedding and could not recommend more! Apart from the beautiful views, delicious food, they accommodate all of ours requests and made our special day even more special! A special Thank you to all their staff, but most importantly Lara N, the event manager!

We would highly recommend the Connemara Coast hotel as a wedding venue. The whole process was great and Lara and the team were so helpful throughout, from initial visits to tasting menus and everything in between. The day could not have gone better. It is a lovely location for a wedding ceremony and we were so lucky with the weather. All of our guests were well looked after and we received many compliments over the weeks following the wedding.

We knew the minute we walked in the door of the Connemara Coast that it was the hotel for our wedding
Lara our coordinator was calm and detailed. Her experience shone through every interaction and we knew we were in safe hands. Ours was a large wedding and she gave us great advice on how to ensure we didn’t loose time over the course of the day.
We met Matthew the hotels Food & Beverage manager at our viewing- he was brilliant then and brilliant every minute of our wedding day. Our families loved him, you can see his staff think the world of him and we are so grateful for all he did for us.
The hotel itself is beautiful - the ballroom, the rooms, the grounds, the views and the gorgeous food. Every bit of it, but it’s team who really set it apart. All of the people working there are so lovely. They really want you to have the best day and went out of their way for our guests. A special mention to Holly who took care of our top table and to Ann who took care of our room bookings.
Don’t even think twice about booking the Coast for your wedding - we could not recommend it enough.

From the moment we walked into the Connemara Coast Hotel and met Lara, we knew it was the one! The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, with incredible photo opportunities around every corner. One thing I particularly loved was the ballroom. Unlike many other hotel ballrooms, it didn't feel dark or enclosed. The natural light made such a difference, and you never lost track of what time of day it was!
The bridal suite is perfect, especially if you're planning on getting ready at the hotel on the morning of your wedding. There's plenty of space, lots of natural light and such a cosy, relaxed atmosphere. It was everything we could have hoped for!
The food was genuinely the best I've ever had at a wedding. The beef was absolutely incredible, and our guests are still talking about it!
The general manager working that evening was so helpful, and all of the waiting staff were fantastic. Everyone was so attentive and friendly, which really added to the whole experience.
However, as beautiful as the hotel is, with its amazing views and fantastic food, Lara, the wedding coordinator, is what truly sold the Connemara Coast to us. From the very beginning, Lara was so calm, professional and approachable. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the entire planning process, and nothing was ever too much to ask.
On the day itself, we were completely blown away by how Lara handled everything, even when things didn't go entirely to plan (and without going into too much detail, that included an ambulance being called!). My husband even commented that poor Lara seemed to be everywhere at once, sorting out every little thing, and yet somehow nothing was delayed. Her ability to remain so calm, organised and reassuring in such unexpected circumstances was incredible.
We honestly cannot thank Lara enough for everything she did to make our wedding day so special. We will be forever grateful for all of her hard work, care and dedication. She went above and beyond for us, and we couldn't have asked for anyone better to look after our day.
If you're looking for a wedding venue, we couldn't recommend the Connemara Coast Hotel enough. The venue, the food, the staff and, most importantly, Lara, made our wedding day everything we could have wished for and more.
Thank you all so much for everything! ❤️

"One of the best weddings I've ever been to" was a phrase used by us and by many of our guests at our wedding reception last Saturday. Not only did Lara do an amazing job, but she put us at ease every step of the way and her expertise really came through when it came to the smaller details of each part of the reception.
We highly recommend Lara and the Connemara Coast hotel for your venue of choice, especially your wedding!

We couldn’t recommend this venue more. Lara and Matthew were so incredibly helpful, organised and professional. The whole service team were outstanding and our friends and family have not stopped talking about how amazing our wedding was from start to finish. The venue and scenery are breathtaking, the rooms are beautiful and the place is absolutely spotless, it’s so well maintained and makes for stunning photos. We got married at Connemara Coast Hotel in May 2026 and would highly recommend it as a wedding venue. Lara and Cillian were lovely to deal with throughout the entire wedding planning process and ensured everything ran smoothly on the day. Matthew & Caoimhe along with all of the other hotel staff also did a great job of going above and beyond to look after our guests all weekend 😊 The food was amazing and everyone was so impressed with the guests room and hotel facilities too. It’s a perfect place to get married 🤍

We recently celebrated our wedding at the Connemara Coast Hotel and it truly exceeded every expectation we had. The food, drinks and staff were exceptional from start to finish. We had a few additional requests to help blend two cultures into our day and the hotel absolutely surpassed themselves. Every detail was handled with such care and we felt incredibly well looked after throughout.
On the day itself, Lara and her team were phenomenal. Their attentiveness, professionalism and warmth made everything flow so naturally. We genuinely had the best day of our lives and so much of that is thanks to how seamless the service was.
In the lead-up to the wedding, communication was a little slow at times, but in the final couple of weeks the team pulled out all the stops for us. We felt fully supported and reassured as the big day approached.
Although we aren’t from the area, the Connemara Coast Hotel has been a special place for myself and my family for over 20 years and travelling there for our wedding felt completely right. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and said they plan to return soon — a testament to the hotel’s charm and hospitality.
We genuinely believe the Connemara Coast Hotel is one of the top wedding venues in Ireland and we would strongly recommend it to any couple looking for a stunning setting, exceptional service and a team who truly care.

It was an absolute pleasure to host your wedding here at the Connemara Coast Hotel, especially knowing the long-standing connection you and your family have with the hotel. That made it all the more special for our team as well. We’re delighted to hear that your day exceeded expectations and that the food, service, and overall experience lived up to what you had hoped for.
Hearing that your guests enjoyed their time and are already planning a return visit is the kind of compliment you can’t buy. It speaks volumes.

We recently celebrated our wedding at The Connemara Coast Hotel. From the moment we spoke to Lara, she and her team made us feel completely at ease. They were so helpful with everything and nothing felt like too much.
The venue itself is stunning. The ceremony space was in the hotel itself and it was perfect for our ceremony. The reception area was beautifully set up, with great attention to detail that made the whole place feel warm and inviting.
Our guests are still talking about the food! Everything was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Especially the beef! The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the whole day ran smoothly thanks to how organised and professional they were.

From day one viewing the Connemara Coast Hotel as our potential wedding venue, we knew right away it was the place for us. The hotel is very charming and peaceful. Lara and her team were extremely welcoming, helpful and put us right at ease with all of our questions and requests.
On our wedding day, the preparation involved was evident. So many guests complimented the food quality, service and comfortable hotel rooms. As did we!
We could not find one fault in our day thanks to Lara, Matthew and Caoimhe. We truly couldn’t be happier and couldn’t recommend the venue/team enough!

We were very lucky that the Connemara Coast Hotel had our date available - we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue. The stunning views of the sea with the Gazebo right in front formed the backdrop of our ceremony which, due to rain on the day, had to be inside, but given that you can oversee the ocean from inside as well, wasn’t any less beautiful. Lara, the wedding coordinator, is absolutely incredible and made all our wishes come true. We had many phone calls and video calls with her before the wedding and she was always so kind and organised, simply exceeded all our expectations. On the day, Caoimhe was also massive help to us and again fulfilled all our wishes. In fact, all staff at the Connemara are so kind and professional and just made us have the best day of our lives. We couldn’t recommend the Connemara Coast Hotel as a wedding venue more, we were delighted with absolutely everything!

A wedding venue beyond compare.
We had a family wedding at the Connemara Coast Hotel last weekend. My son and his fiancée chose it for the location and the attention shown by Lara the wedding coordinator when the enquiry was first made last year. They couldn't have chosen better. From the moment we walked in the service was excellent. Reception sorted out rooms immediately, the rehearsal dinner was fabulous. Ronait and Holly's attention to us all was amazing, nothing was too much. Lara was there on the morning setting everything up and took all the pressure off of us. She helped with the organisation of the bridal party and made great suggestions for things that we hadn't even thought of. The wedding was spectacular. We had such a great time. Caoimhe ran the show during dinner and had everything totally under control. The staff faultlessly served everyone with no delays. Holly was working the top table and you couldn't find a nicer more helpful and attentive person. Bar staff were great and were very friendly and cheerful. Ronait was on again the following morning at breakfast and enquired straight away as to whether we'd had a good day. Everything was run in such a personal way yet so professionally too with fantastic attention to detail. Definitely a 10/10.

When we viewed the Connemara Coast Hotel we were completely blown away by the scenery. It looked and felt like a destination wedding but it was right here on our own shores and a short drive from Galway city. What really sold it though was the staff. From organising it beforehand to the minute-to-minute stuff on the day, the hotel staff were incredible. Knowledgeable, approachable, flexible; they had everything you would want from the staff dealing with your big day. The food was also incredible and something that dozens of our guests raved about to us after the fact.
Another great aspect of the CCH is their vendor list. The vast majority of vendors for our wedding were from the list they sent us and, like the food, they were all highly praised by our guests.

We had the most perfect day for our wedding at the Connemara Coast Hotel. Everything was simply flawless! The staff couldn’t have done enough for us—right from booking the venue through to the big day itself, the entire experience was made so easy and enjoyable.
Lara and the team were an absolute dream to work with. They were easygoing, cooperative, and incredibly attentive. Every request we made was taken on board and carried out beautifully. Their professionalism and warm approach truly made the planning process stress-free.
The scenery was the perfect backdrop—shining through the windows during our ceremony and dinner reception. It was utterly breathtaking and added so much to the atmosphere and relaxed feel of the day. Our guests were blown away, and so were we.

We had the most magical day celebrating our Wedding at the Connemara Coast.
Lara and all the staff went above and beyond with every single request we had.
The standard of service and the overall flow of the day was excellent from start to finish. We have been told on multiple occasions how good the food was on the day. Especially how the beef was falling off the bone.
The attention to detail was nothing short of perfection. Nothing was too big of an ask when planning our wedding day and Lara was an absolute superstar, her level of professionalism and welcoming smile always put us at ease when we met. We couldn't recommended the Coast highly enough.

Myself and Gavin got married at the Connemara Coast Hotel in July 2025 and it was honestly the best experience of our entire lives. From the moment we booked, right through to the last minute of our wedding day, everything was perfection.
A special shoutout to Lara, our wedding coordinator – she was absolutely incredible. So responsive, so organised, and genuinely caring. Nothing was ever too big or too small. She guided us through every step, answered every question instantly, and on the day she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We truly couldn’t have done it without her.
The hotel, the views, the atmosphere… everything was magical. Our day ran flawlessly because of the amazing team behind the scenes.
I would 100% recommend the Connemara Coast Hotel to any future bride and groom. It was the wedding of our dreams, and we’ll be forever grateful. 💍✨

The venue was beautiful. A lovely fancy place but not so fancy that you'd be accused of notions.
The food was great. The execution of the day was flawless.
Most importantly Lara and the team made our day more enjoyable by putting us at ease. They never caused stress. They only reduced our stress. It sounds obvious but Iv been to weddings where the team is bringing you problems and causing stress. Lara and the whole team are so easy going, happy and fun while getting everything done perfectly on the day.

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding hotel experience. From start to finish, everything was brilliant. The team were incredibly accommodating, the food was excellent, and the venue itself is absolutely stunning. Every single person we met was so helpful and welcoming. A special mention to our venue coordinators, Lara and Brian, who were exceptional — their communication was brilliant and their responses were always so fast and I definitely asked over a million questions throughout the process!. They made the whole process feel effortless. Lara went above and beyond on the day for me also! We’d highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding.

Our wedding at the Connemara Coast Hotel in May was perfection from start to finish. The service was unbelievable and so many of our guests are still talking about the food. The views speak for themselves, they made the whole day feel magical.
A special mention has to go to Lara and Brian, they were an incredible team, absolutely 5 star in what they do. So kind, easy to deal with and genuinely knew exactly what we needed before we even asked. Their calm, friendly approach made the whole planning process an absolute joy. We couldn’t have asked for better people to guide us through such an important day. Also a special mention to Caoimhe who later in the evening was an incredible support also.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stunning venue with exceptional staff. Five stars without hesitation.

This review is long overdue, but our experience absolutely deserves to be shared. From the very beginning, our wedding coordinator, Lara, made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. She was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and approachable, and she made us feel completely comfortable right from our first meeting.
Lara took the time to go through all the different wedding packages with us, helping us find the one that best suited our vision and budget. She was respectful of our preferences, never pushy, and always offered thoughtful, insightful advice that helped us make the right decisions.
Throughout the planning process, Lara was highly organised — always keeping us updated and communicating clearly through emails. On the big day, she reassured us that everything was under control, and she truly delivered on that promise. The wedding was seamlessly run, perfectly staffed, and everything unfolded beautifully.
We unfortunately had a wedding dress mishap, but Lara went above and beyond to fix the situation. Her quick thinking and effort meant that my dress still looked great for the ceremony and the photos — we were genuinely impressed and so grateful for her dedication.
The reception was outstanding — the food was delicious, the service impeccable, and we received countless compliments from our guests saying it was one of the best weddings they had ever attended.
The hotel itself was absolutely charming and unique, with so much character and warmth. Its location was perfect — set away from the busy city, it felt like a mini vacation surrounded by peace and natural beauty. The gardens and nearby beach offered the perfect spots for quiet walks. And to top it all off, the wedding suite was like a dream — beautifully decorated, spacious, and the perfect place to unwind after such a magical day.
We can’t thank Lara and the entire team enough for making our special day so perfect. Her professionalism, kindness, and genuine care made all the difference. We’ll forever be grateful for everything she did to make our wedding so memorable.
Highly recommended!

From the very beginning of planning our wedding to the day itself, the Connemara Coast Hotel exceeded every expectation. Lara, the wedding coordinator, was simply outstanding. She made the entire process seamless and stress-free. Her eye for detail and thoughtful advice helped us structure the day perfectly, from managing suppliers to sequencing events. She even took care of elements we assumed we’d need to arrange separately, which was such a welcome surprise.
No request was ever too much for the hotel team. Whether it was accommodating complex dietary requirements, arranging unusual table sizes, or navigating a yellow weather warning, the staff were always on hand to help and coordinate. Their calm attitude gave us complete peace of mind.
On the wedding day itself, everything ran like clockwork. From the ceremony through to the meal, we felt so well looked after. The food was great, our guests are still talking about the beef short rib and the wines were highly praised by family and friends alike.
We are so glad we chose the Connemara Coast Hotel for our wedding. The entire team, and especially Lara, played such a vital role in making our day unforgettable. We couldn’t have done it without them.

We loved every moment of our wedding at the Connemara Coast Hotel.
We initially contracted with another hotel in Galway that did not work out due to communication and quality concerns. The team at the Connemara Coast met with so much kindness and helped us restart.
As an American couple, we were able to meet virtually and pay for things online with great ease; Lara and her team were always responsive and the time difference was never an issue.
As two women, we were met with the same treatment any man and woman would have received. The entire staff was affirming, inclusive, and just as excited for our wedding as we were.
We brought about 50 guests over from the US for the ceremony, and many stayed an extended period at the hotel. Everyone raved about their stay — you truly cannot surpass the location and service from all staff at the hotel. It is such a fantastic experience. The venue space itself is gorgeous, the hotel in full is an oasis.
Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, with every detail thought out and us feeling absolutely spoiled. Food was incredible, our vendors were taken care of, and the service was just top tier. We truly believe Lara willed an outdoor ceremony into existence for us ;)

We had the most incredible experience at the Connemara Coast Hotel! Planning a wedding from the US could have been stressful, but thanks to Lara and the amazing team, I was the least stressed bride ever. Lara was incredibly responsive and organized, making sure we got everything we wanted. The rest of the team was equally fantastic—respectful, efficient, and so kind.
Everything ran flawlessly, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. The venue itself is stunning, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our guests are still talking about how much they loved it! If you're thinking about where to get married, look no further—this place is simply perfect!

We got married at the beautiful Connemara Coast Hotel in Sept. Words cannot describe how perfect our day was. The staff were absolutely brilliant from start to finish.
Our wedding coordinator Lara is just the best! From the first email until the wedding day Lara was there for us 24/7! Nothing was too big or too much trouble.
Big mention to all the staff on the day, especially Matthew & Andrew who looked after us extremely well all day and night!
The Hotel is beautiful, with amazing views over looking Galway Bay.
Thank you to all the team at the Connemara Coast for making our big day extra special. We can't thank you enough!

We had the most incredible experience having our wedding reception at the Connemara Coast Hotel in Galway. From start to finish, Lara, Nya, and Brian were absolutely amazing to work with—nothing was too big or small for them to handle. From our very first planning meeting, we knew we were in safe hands. Their professionalism and attention to detail put us instantly at ease, and it made all the difference on the big day.
The day itself went off without a hitch, thanks to their exceptional coordination. When the cars I'd booked for myself and the bridesmaids didn’t turn up, Lara went above and beyond, personally ferrying my bridesmaids to the church, ensuring everything stayed on track without a single hitch. They handled everything seamlessly, and it allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment of our special day.
Our guests are still raving about how incredible the venue was, from the breathtaking views to the delicious food. Every detail was perfect, and the team at Connemara Coast made sure it all ran smoothly. If you’re a couple looking for a wedding venue with stunning views, exceptional service, and a team that goes the extra mile, we can’t recommend the Connemara Coast Hotel highly enough. It truly was a dream come true!

We fell in love with Connemara Coast Hotel when we first walked in the door.
The beautiful reception was so warm and welcoming. We met with the wedding co-ordinator, Lara who showed us around the venue.
We were absolutely stunned by the views on the terrace which can seen as your seated in the function room. These views provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos. The gazebo is a gorgeous feature which can be used in so many ways on your big day. It featured on our save the dates, wedding invitations and menus. You don't actually need to leave the grounds for photos as the venue is abundant with photo opportunities inside aswell as outside.
The function room itself is to die for. It's very bright, pretty and classy.
Lara will make sure everything is just as it's supposed to be on your big day. I cannot say enough good words about her. She is on top of EVERYTHING!! She went above and beyond for us in the lead up and made us feel at ease on our special day.
Our guests are still raving about the venue, friendly staff, gorgeous location, top quality food, fabulous accommodation and the amazing Lara.
If we were to do it all again, we would choose Connemara Coast Hotel in a heartbeat!

Kieran and I got married on the 17th of May where we had both our wedding ceremony and our wedding reception in the Connemara Coast Hotel. From the very first time we met the wedding co-ordinators Brian and Lara we had such a positive experience. They always made us feel at ease and were very helpful throughout the entire planning process. The views and surroundings of the hotel are breathtaking, making it the perfect setting for a wedding or any special occasion. The photos we have in and around the hotel are really amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful adding to the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. On the day, the sun was shining and our guests got to enjoy the reception drinks on the beautiful, spacious terrace at the back of the hotel with stunning views of the sea and the Burren. The food on the day went down a treat - one of our main choices was the Irish Braised Short Rib Beef which was absolutely delicious with many of our guests still talking about how good it was! For any brides to be, the bridal suite is perfect for morning preparations with plenty of space for hair & make up - it has great lighting with a sliding door onto a balcony area. We couldnt have been happier with our venue choice. Thanks to all the hotel staff who made our wedding day so special.

Ciara and I married on Friday. We had both our ceremony and wedding breakfast in the hotel and it was absolutely fabulous!!! Plentiful food, beautiful ambiance and loads of craic. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, welcoming and helpful. The food and wine was plentiful and delicious and our friends commented on both the unusual quality of the wine and food for a wedding. The whole day was a dream come true for my lovely new wife and her being so happy made me equally so.
A particular thanks is due to Lara and Brian ably assisted by Nia, Andrew and Evan.
What a wonderful experience for us on what is one of the more important days of our lives.
Thank you
P.S. Go for the lamb and Chilean wine 😉

We got married there new years eve just gone what a venue it is. We fell in love with it the first time we visited. All the staff are wonderful. Just a few to mention was Lara a tressure to the hotel and every so helpful. Lara has a wonderful manner with couples and puts them at ease with a can do attitude and nothing is a problem, and will go out of here way to help. A great asset to the Connemara Coast Hotel. We both love Christmas and the hotel was nicely decorated.
Evan is brilliant any time we were there he was every so helpful and willing to help no matter what. We never had a empty hand all weekend if we wanted anything he was on it straight away. Evan was cracking jokes all weekend and put everyone at ease and made it a very relaxed atmosphere a great attitude. He even dressed up for us as santa to ring in the new year outside with sparklers.
Brian was great with any questions I had they were answered swiftly. Both Brian & Lara were there the day of wedding and had umbrellas on hand when we arrived and welcomed the guests.
Andrew was on hand when items were delivered to hotel and helped with some diy. Great attitude and ever so helpful.
By the end of the few days we're all friends and can't wait to go back.
Function room have amazing views with plenty room for everyone .
Bedrooms have views looking over Galway Bay just breath taking you could get lost in nature. The bridal suite is fabulous and so chilled to take time to yourself. A extremely clean hotel which can be seen when you first enter it. Bathrooms are well maintained throughout.
The food was unreal especially the lamb so many people complimented it. A wide menu to choose from in all courses. Which is quite difficult to narrow down. All courses were presented fantastic on the day. We spent three days here and not a bad dish. Second day we went with a buffet style and went down a treat.
All staff in reception were amazing and ever so friendly to guests which the complimented. Ann was fantastic with bookings all the way through and made the process so easy. Any questions I had were answered swiftly.
You could see over the few days the staff are happy in the hotel.
I highly recommend the connemara coast hotel 5star all the way with no hesitation. If I had to do all over again I wouldn't change it.
We will be back at the Connemara Coast Hotel very soon for a night and meet everyone again.

Attended a family wedding here at the weekend.
The location, scenery and facilities were all excellent. The rooms, drinks reception and food was all fantastic.
My issue was with the 2 young security guards on duty the night of the wedding. They continuously looked for issues however small. Their aggressive behaviour towards guests was unacceptable. I have never seen or heard of security at a wedding before. They continuously prowled through the guests throughout the night making everyone very anxious and uncomfortable.
There seemed to be a lack of management after the meal finished. Nobody seemed to be in charge or took responsibility for anything. These 2 young security guards seemed to be running the show and calling all of the shots. They were very aggressive and on a power trip.
What started as a wonderful day turned into a nightmare.
I will never set foot in this hotel again

What can I say?! Connemara Coast Hotel is just brilliant! There was a change of wedding co-ordinator there between booking and the actual wedding that caused a little concern but once Saoirse took up post it was AMAZING!! She is so fantastic at her job, responsive, calm, approachable and just brilliant! She was even responsive on her days off - which is totally unnecessary but didn't go unnoticed. We were there for our wedding for 3 days in total, and all the staff were fantastic. They really looked after everyone so well. My niece who's 3 was sick and spent a lot of time in their room with her mum. Saoirse made sure they got their dinner on the day of the wedding and on the following day staff were so good to them providing them with towels and food etc. The staff spoke to everyone during our stay and no ask was an issue. There really wasn't anyone we met that wasn't great when we were there for the 3 days and on visits prior to our wedding. The hotel is in a great location, near enough to the city and right on the coast. We got married at Christmas time and the hotel was decorated beautifully which made our photos inside lovely and Chrissmassy. Our photos outside were fantastic too. The grounds are gorgeous and really well kept. It's right on the sea which made for some great photos - even in December! What was particularly great is that everything was on the ground floor so was easily accessible for our family and other guests in attendance. We had a humanist ceremony and our reception there with only 48 guests - perfect for us but you could see how they could easily facilitate much bigger weddings than ours. We had a great time there and have some great memories that we'll cherish forever. If you're considering Connemara Coast - Do it, you won't regret it!!

The Connemara Coast was just fantastic to deal with from initial introductions, throughout the lead up and the day itself just went off without a hitch. The feedback from the guests mostly consisted of how excellent the food was on the day- the high standard far exceeded what you would usually expect from a venue catering to 125+ people. They had plenty of bar staff on the day which was really important as many establishments these days just unfortunately do not have the staff to cater such events. The whole team played a vital role on the day and honestly couldnt have done more. We also held our day two celebrations there in the bar and again nothing was too much trouble. We've since been back to celebrate my mother's surprise 60th and we very much look forward to making the trip away to celebrate our one year anniversary.

We can't speak highly enough of our wedding day at the Connemara Coast. Guests were raving about the setting, the food and the service. We have to give a special mention to Brian and the team who were legends on the morning of the wedding, agreeing to move our ceremony outside to the beautiful gazebo when the sun came out with just one-hour left before the ceremony! It was the best decision we ever made, the backdrop by the sea was just spectacular and it made the day even more special for us. Brian was so calm and helpful and flexible, a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend this as a wedding venue - so convenient to Galway city but feels like you?re abroad if you?re lucky enough to have the sun shine :)

From the minute we met Brian at their wedding show we knew the Connemara Coast was the hotel for us. Between the breathtaking views and setting right on the sea, the friendly and professional staff, the incredible food and service, we actually had our dream wedding. We couldn't ask for more. Our family and friends are still raving about this hotel 2 months on, many of whom came over from the USA and are planning their trips back to stay here already. I wouldn't hesitate recommending the Connemara Coast to anyone for a truly special day. It is so close to Galway city but has the feeling of being away.

I couldn't recommend the Connemara Coast Hotel highly enough. Catherine, Micheal and the team were so helpful and couldn't do enough for us. From the very first visit to the end. The quality of the food was second to none, the portions were amazing and they were so generous with the second helpings and wine top ups. The rooms were fabulous each room looks out on to the sea. All of our guests had such a wonderful time out there from the minute they arrived until they left the next day. Nothing was a problem to the team here, they were so personable the whole way through and got the job done all in the background! It was such a fabulous day! I?d do it all over again!

We were well impressed with the Connemara Coast from day one. Darius and John were always available to answer our questions and always helpful and friendly. We felt they could never do enough for us. They suggested things we never even thought of. They took a lot of the possible stress out of planning our wedding day for which we are grateful.
The food on the day was excellent and the amount was plentiful. Every one of our guests commented on it. The venue itself was beautiful and provided many wonderful photo opportunities. The bridge at the back in particular was a big hit with amateur and professional photographers.
We would like to thank sincerely everyone in the Connemara Coast for helping make our day one of the best days of our lives and one which we will never forget. We genuinely don't think there is a better place for a wedding.

We would like to say a huge thank you to John , Darius and all the staff for our amazing wedding weekend. From start to finish our guests were looked after to the highest standard. No request was to big and the hotel even sourced a small boat for the reception to hold the beers. All our suppliers also commented on how accommodating the hotel were. We could not but highly recommend this hotel for any couple who wants that extra special touch, from the quality customer service, outstanding food and drink to a unique venue with some of the most amazing views.

We had our wedding in the Connemara Coast last April and it was totally amazing!!! the staff went above and beyond at every stage of the planning. Darius was so helpful and so enthusiastic about our big day. He thought of all the finer details that made our day so special. We had over 20 children at the wedding and 280 adults and the venue was perfect for it. They had the perfect play area for the kids so all the adults could enjoy dinner and dancing. The food was absolutely amazing, we went for a meal in the restaurant before we decided on the venue and even at such a big wedding the food was the exact same perfect quality on the night of the wedding as it was the night we ate in the restaurant.
On the day Darius managed to keep everything running on time while still ensuring we had an unrushed stress free day, he made us feel like the most important couple in the world!! The venue was so amazing for photos and all of the staff in the hotel were so helpful and friendly throughout the whole weekend. The treatment was beyond 5 star and I recommend they without any hesitation, many of our wedding guests ended up staying an extra night because they loved the hotel so much!

Quite simply, great facilities and staff who go beyond the call of duty.
We recently got married and had our reception at the Connemara Coast Hotel. Not only did we have a great wedding reception but also the staff were outstanding as they looked after our guests, both those who stayed in the hotel and those who attended the reception.
The staff, led by the two Ann's and Catherine, couldn't do enough for us and we were delighted to hear such positive feedback from our family and friends about the experience they had.
The views of the wild Atlantic ocean were breath taking, the facilities at the hotel which included the scenic reception room, the cosy bar, the play room for kids, the health centre, the library mezzanine and the fantastic restaurant, were all beyond our expectations.
Whether it's to host a wedding or for a weekend stay, we could not recommend this hotel highly enough.

The ceremony room was made up exactly as we?d discussed and I was touched that Cathy had gone to the trouble of sourcing the exact flowers to match the wedding party. The room worked really well as a civil ceremony room with the beautiful views of the bay behind us.

On behalf of myself and Conor I want to formally and sincerely thank you for everything you
did to make our day so very special. Right from the start Ann Downey and then yourself did
absolutely everything possible to make the entire occasion as stress and hassle free as possible.
Every single time I have contacted you or stayed in the hotel I have been treated extremely well.
Nothing was ever too much trouble and it did not go unnoticed. ?The feedback from our guests was absolutely phenomenal, everyone raved about the food and
the service and the location and views!

Just a quick mail to thank you so much for everything over the weekend and over the last few
months as well. You made the whole thing so easy for us. ?
Everyone enjoyed the day thoroughly and all the guests were full of praise for the food, all your
lovely staff, the rooms and just what a great time they had overall in the Connemara Coast. Even
though it was wet outside the sun was definitely shining inside for us! The room was so well laid
out, the flower arrangements and chair sashes were just perfect. We felt really relaxed from the
minute we arrived and I knew everything would be fine - just a really lovely atmosphere.

We have never have we met staff which are willing to go the extra mile as much as this bunch.
Special mention to Cathy the wedding coordinator, Anne the manager and Carolina our Polish waitress
who were all superb.?
?
It's the small things that got us excited in a hotel and by goodness Connemara Coast comes up trumps
in this department.?
?
The food was excellent from breakfast to lunch to dinner and especially our wedding meal, everyone
complimented us on how wonderful everything tasted.?
?
We would highly recommend getting married here because we're positive there is no place that will beat
it for all of the above!?
There is a feeling in the Connemara Coast that engulfs you the moment you walk through the door. This
feeling of "homeliness" - A home away from home as such! We can't wait to return and we know that
forever more the Connemara Coast will be a very special place to us!!
