The venue was absolutely stunning, ideal for photos both inside and outside the hotel. The organisation was seamless. The wedding coordinator Lara was extremely friendly and helpful and was easy to get in contact with. The food was amazing. The care they showed to us and our guests was exceptional. We were able to relax and fully enjoy our special day knowing everything was being handled. We could not have asked for a more perfect venue and dedicated team.

We recently celebrated our wedding at The Connemara Coast Hotel. From the moment we spoke to Lara, she and her team made us feel completely at ease. They were so helpful with everything and nothing felt like too much.

The venue itself is stunning. The ceremony space was in the hotel itself and it was perfect for our ceremony. The reception area was beautifully set up, with great attention to detail that made the whole place feel warm and inviting.

Our guests are still talking about the food! Everything was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Especially the beef! The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the whole day ran smoothly thanks to how organised and professional they were.

From day one viewing the Connemara Coast Hotel as our potential wedding venue, we knew right away it was the place for us. The hotel is very charming and peaceful. Lara and her team were extremely welcoming, helpful and put us right at ease with all of our questions and requests.
On our wedding day, the preparation involved was evident. So many guests complimented the food quality, service and comfortable hotel rooms. As did we!
We could not find one fault in our day thanks to Lara, Matthew and Caoimhe. We truly couldn’t be happier and couldn’t recommend the venue/team enough!

We were very lucky that the Connemara Coast Hotel had our date available - we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue. The stunning views of the sea with the Gazebo right in front formed the backdrop of our ceremony which, due to rain on the day, had to be inside, but given that you can oversee the ocean from inside as well, wasn’t any less beautiful. Lara, the wedding coordinator, is absolutely incredible and made all our wishes come true. We had many phone calls and video calls with her before the wedding and she was always so kind and organised, simply exceeded all our expectations. On the day, Caoimhe was also massive help to us and again fulfilled all our wishes. In fact, all staff at the Connemara are so kind and professional and just made us have the best day of our lives. We couldn’t recommend the Connemara Coast Hotel as a wedding venue more, we were delighted with absolutely everything!

When we viewed the Connemara Coast Hotel we were completely blown away by the scenery. It looked and felt like a destination wedding but it was right here on our own shores and a short drive from Galway city. What really sold it though was the staff. From organising it beforehand to the minute-to-minute stuff on the day, the hotel staff were incredible. Knowledgeable, approachable, flexible; they had everything you would want from the staff dealing with your big day. The food was also incredible and something that dozens of our guests raved about to us after the fact.

Another great aspect of the CCH is their vendor list. The vast majority of vendors for our wedding were from the list they sent us and, like the food, they were all highly praised by our guests.

The standard of service and the overall flow of the day was excellent from start to finish. We have been told on multiple occasions how good the food was on the day. Especially how the beef was falling off the bone.
The attention to detail was nothing short of perfection. Nothing was too big of an ask when planning our wedding day and Lara was an absolute superstar, her level of professionalism and welcoming smile always put us at ease when we met. We couldn't recommended the Coast highly enough.

The venue was beautiful. A lovely fancy place but not so fancy that you'd be accused of notions.
The food was great. The execution of the day was flawless.
Most importantly Lara and the team made our day more enjoyable by putting us at ease. They never caused stress. They only reduced our stress. It sounds obvious but Iv been to weddings where the team is bringing you problems and causing stress. Lara and the whole team are so easy going, happy and fun while getting everything done perfectly on the day.

This review is long overdue, but our experience absolutely deserves to be shared. From the very beginning, our wedding coordinator, Lara, made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. She was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and approachable, and she made us feel completely comfortable right from our first meeting.

Lara took the time to go through all the different wedding packages with us, helping us find the one that best suited our vision and budget. She was respectful of our preferences, never pushy, and always offered thoughtful, insightful advice that helped us make the right decisions.

Throughout the planning process, Lara was highly organised — always keeping us updated and communicating clearly through emails. On the big day, she reassured us that everything was under control, and she truly delivered on that promise. The wedding was seamlessly run, perfectly staffed, and everything unfolded beautifully.

We unfortunately had a wedding dress mishap, but Lara went above and beyond to fix the situation. Her quick thinking and effort meant that my dress still looked great for the ceremony and the photos — we were genuinely impressed and so grateful for her dedication.

The reception was outstanding — the food was delicious, the service impeccable, and we received countless compliments from our guests saying it was one of the best weddings they had ever attended.

The hotel itself was absolutely charming and unique, with so much character and warmth. Its location was perfect — set away from the busy city, it felt like a mini vacation surrounded by peace and natural beauty. The gardens and nearby beach offered the perfect spots for quiet walks. And to top it all off, the wedding suite was like a dream — beautifully decorated, spacious, and the perfect place to unwind after such a magical day.

We can’t thank Lara and the entire team enough for making our special day so perfect. Her professionalism, kindness, and genuine care made all the difference. We’ll forever be grateful for everything she did to make our wedding so memorable.

We loved every moment of our wedding at the Connemara Coast Hotel.

We initially contracted with another hotel in Galway that did not work out due to communication and quality concerns. The team at the Connemara Coast met with so much kindness and helped us restart.

As an American couple, we were able to meet virtually and pay for things online with great ease; Lara and her team were always responsive and the time difference was never an issue.

As two women, we were met with the same treatment any man and woman would have received. The entire staff was affirming, inclusive, and just as excited for our wedding as we were.

We brought about 50 guests over from the US for the ceremony, and many stayed an extended period at the hotel. Everyone raved about their stay — you truly cannot surpass the location and service from all staff at the hotel. It is such a fantastic experience. The venue space itself is gorgeous, the hotel in full is an oasis.

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, with every detail thought out and us feeling absolutely spoiled. Food was incredible, our vendors were taken care of, and the service was just top tier. We truly believe Lara willed an outdoor ceremony into existence for us ;)

I just wanted to say a huge massive thank you to Lara and her staff. We honestly had the most incredible wedding day, the hotel is incredible and we’ve had nothing but good things said from all our guests about the food, staff, service and overall atmosphere. Lara is so professional and amazing at what you do, I knew the wedding would be a hit and all was in safe hands as soon as we spoke to her.

Our wedding at the Connemara Coast was the most amazing day! We felt so at ease with Lara and her team they did everything to the highest standard and all our requests were made. Kieran and I got married on the 17th of May where we had both our wedding ceremony and our wedding reception in the Connemara Coast Hotel. From the very first time we met the wedding co-ordinators Brian and Lara we had such a positive experience. They always made us feel at ease and were very helpful throughout the entire planning process. The views and surroundings of the hotel are breathtaking, making it the perfect setting for a wedding or any special occasion. The photos we have in and around the hotel are really amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful adding to the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. On the day, the sun was shining and our guests got to enjoy the reception drinks on the beautiful, spacious terrace at the back of the hotel with stunning views of the sea and the Burren. The food on the day went down a treat - one of our main choices was the Irish Braised Short Rib Beef which was absolutely delicious with many of our guests still talking about how good it was! For any brides to be, the bridal suite is perfect for morning preparations with plenty of space for hair & make up - it has great lighting with a sliding door onto a balcony area. We couldnt have been happier with our venue choice. Thanks to all the hotel staff who made our wedding day so special.

Ciara and I married on Friday. We had both our ceremony and wedding breakfast in the hotel and it was absolutely fabulous!!! Plentiful food, beautiful ambiance and loads of craic. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, welcoming and helpful. The food and wine was plentiful and delicious and our friends commented on both the unusual quality of the wine and food for a wedding. The whole day was a dream come true for my lovely new wife and her being so happy made me equally so.
A particular thanks is due to Lara and Brian ably assisted by Nia, Andrew and Evan.
What a wonderful experience for us on what is one of the more important days of our lives.

We got married there new years eve just gone what a venue it is. We fell in love with it the first time we visited. All the staff are wonderful. Just a few to mention was Lara a tressure to the hotel and every so helpful. Lara has a wonderful manner with couples and puts them at ease with a can do attitude and nothing is a problem, and will go out of here way to help. A great asset to the Connemara Coast Hotel. We both love Christmas and the hotel was nicely decorated.
Evan is brilliant any time we were there he was every so helpful and willing to help no matter what. We never had a empty hand all weekend if we wanted anything he was on it straight away. Evan was cracking jokes all weekend and put everyone at ease and made it a very relaxed atmosphere a great attitude. He even dressed up for us as santa to ring in the new year outside with sparklers.
Brian was great with any questions I had they were answered swiftly. Both Brian & Lara were there the day of wedding and had umbrellas on hand when we arrived and welcomed the guests.
Andrew was on hand when items were delivered to hotel and helped with some diy. Great attitude and ever so helpful.
By the end of the few days we're all friends and can't wait to go back.
Function room have amazing views with plenty room for everyone .
Bedrooms have views looking over Galway Bay just breath taking you could get lost in nature. The bridal suite is fabulous and so chilled to take time to yourself. A extremely clean hotel which can be seen when you first enter it. Bathrooms are well maintained throughout.
The food was unreal especially the lamb so many people complimented it. A wide menu to choose from in all courses. Which is quite difficult to narrow down. All courses were presented fantastic on the day. We spent three days here and not a bad dish. Second day we went with a buffet style and went down a treat.
All staff in reception were amazing and ever so friendly to guests which the complimented. Ann was fantastic with bookings all the way through and made the process so easy. Any questions I had were answered swiftly.
You could see over the few days the staff are happy in the hotel.

I highly recommend the connemara coast hotel 5star all the way with no hesitation. If I had to do all over again I wouldn't change it.

We will be back at the Connemara Coast Hotel very soon for a night and meet everyone again.

We had our wedding here recently and I can't speak highly enough of the staff, particularly Brian who took extra special care of us and made sure our event was flawless. We had both our ceremony and reception at the hotel and every detail was taken care of. Our guests were blown away by the venue, the food, the service and everyone is still commenting on what a great day they had.

What can I say?! Connemara Coast Hotel is just brilliant! There was a change of wedding co-ordinator there between booking and the actual wedding that caused a little concern but once Saoirse took up post it was AMAZING!! She is so fantastic at her job, responsive, calm, approachable and just brilliant! She was even responsive on her days off - which is totally unnecessary but didn't go unnoticed. We were there for our wedding for 3 days in total, and all the staff were fantastic. They really looked after everyone so well. My niece who's 3 was sick and spent a lot of time in their room with her mum. Saoirse made sure they got their dinner on the day of the wedding and on the following day staff were so good to them providing them with towels and food etc. The staff spoke to everyone during our stay and no ask was an issue. There really wasn't anyone we met that wasn't great when we were there for the 3 days and on visits prior to our wedding. The hotel is in a great location, near enough to the city and right on the coast. We got married at Christmas time and the hotel was decorated beautifully which made our photos inside lovely and Chrissmassy. Our photos outside were fantastic too. The grounds are gorgeous and really well kept. It's right on the sea which made for some great photos - even in December! What was particularly great is that everything was on the ground floor so was easily accessible for our family and other guests in attendance. We had a humanist ceremony and our reception there with only 48 guests - perfect for us but you could see how they could easily facilitate much bigger weddings than ours. We had a great time there and have some great memories that we'll cherish forever. If you're considering Connemara Coast - Do it, you won't regret it!!

We can't speak highly enough of our wedding day at the Connemara Coast. Guests were raving about the setting, the food and the service. We have to give a special mention to Brian and the team who were legends on the morning of the wedding, agreeing to move our ceremony outside to the beautiful gazebo when the sun came out with just one-hour left before the ceremony! It was the best decision we ever made, the backdrop by the sea was just spectacular and it made the day even more special for us. Brian was so calm and helpful and flexible, a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend this as a wedding venue - so convenient to Galway city but feels like you?re abroad if you?re lucky enough to have the sun shine :)

I couldn't recommend the Connemara Coast Hotel highly enough. Catherine, Micheal and the team were so helpful and couldn't do enough for us. From the very first visit to the end. The quality of the food was second to none, the portions were amazing and they were so generous with the second helpings and wine top ups. The rooms were fabulous each room looks out on to the sea. All of our guests had such a wonderful time out there from the minute they arrived until they left the next day. Nothing was a problem to the team here, they were so personable the whole way through and got the job done all in the background! It was such a fabulous day! I?d do it all over again!

We were well impressed with the Connemara Coast from day one. Darius and John were always available to answer our questions and always helpful and friendly. We felt they could never do enough for us. They suggested things we never even thought of. They took a lot of the possible stress out of planning our wedding day for which we are grateful.

The food on the day was excellent and the amount was plentiful. Every one of our guests commented on it. The venue itself was beautiful and provided many wonderful photo opportunities. The bridge at the back in particular was a big hit with amateur and professional photographers.

This hotel provided an excellent service from the booking to the wedding day. They were very responsive, flexible and easy to deal with. Guests remarked at how attentive the staff were on the day and that the food was of a very high standard. The scenery around the venue is stunning. All the staff made our day very special and we cannot recommend them enough.

We had our wedding in the Connemara Coast last April and it was totally amazing!!! the staff went above and beyond at every stage of the planning. Darius was so helpful and so enthusiastic about our big day. He thought of all the finer details that made our day so special. We had over 20 children at the wedding and 280 adults and the venue was perfect for it. They had the perfect play area for the kids so all the adults could enjoy dinner and dancing. The food was absolutely amazing, we went for a meal in the restaurant before we decided on the venue and even at such a big wedding the food was the exact same perfect quality on the night of the wedding as it was the night we ate in the restaurant.

On the day Darius managed to keep everything running on time while still ensuring we had an unrushed stress free day, he made us feel like the most important couple in the world!! The venue was so amazing for photos and all of the staff in the hotel were so helpful and friendly throughout the whole weekend. The treatment was beyond 5 star and I recommend they without any hesitation, many of our wedding guests ended up staying an extra night because they loved the hotel so much!

We recently got married and had our reception at the Connemara Coast Hotel. Not only did we have a great wedding reception but also the staff were outstanding as they looked after our guests, both those who stayed in the hotel and those who attended the reception.

The staff, led by the two Ann's and Catherine, couldn't do enough for us and we were delighted to hear such positive feedback from our family and friends about the experience they had.

The views of the wild Atlantic ocean were breath taking, the facilities at the hotel which included the scenic reception room, the cosy bar, the play room for kids, the health centre, the library mezzanine and the fantastic restaurant, were all beyond our expectations.

Whether it's to host a wedding or for a weekend stay, we could not recommend this hotel highly enough.

The hotel was amazing from start to finish . We live abroad and they corresponded to us through email very readily . They were so accommodating with all our requests . The staff were all very helpful . Our day was perfect . Food at this hotel is top notch . We have no complaints whatsoever !

The ceremony room was made up exactly as we?d discussed and I was touched that Cathy had gone to the trouble of sourcing the exact flowers to match the wedding party. The room worked really well as a civil ceremony room with the beautiful views of the bay behind us.

We have never have we met staff which are willing to go the extra mile as much as this bunch.
