Home to the Farnham family for more than 400 years, the elegant 16th Century Farnham Estate is found in the heart of Co. Cavan's enchanting countryside, just 90 minutes drive north-west of Dublin. Today, Farnham is being remodelled into a contemporary country style house, designed to focus on wellbeing and health.
Nature and nurture are key elements of the Farnham philosophy. Farnham Estate features a 158 bedroom Radisson Blu Hotel, state-of-the-art Wellness Centre designed by international wellness visionary Heinz Schletterer and a Jeff Howes designed 18-hole Golf Course. From the first moment we came to Farnham to discuss booking our wedding you have gone above and beyond anything we could have ever expected.
We are so glad we had our wedding at Farnham it was just magical and we know it wouldn't have been possible without the support and hard work of you both!
All of our guests were so complementary of everything the hotel provided for them and all the staff, so it is a credit to you all.
Even the meal arranged the night before our wedding was perfect.
Can you also please send on our big thanks to Rachel and Dovelle for taking care of us also on the day they were fantastic and they accommodated everything so well for us.

From once we viewed Farnham Estate we knew it would be our wedding venue. We had the lovely Shauna looking after us, she was so helpful and so quick to reply to any questions we had. Shauna made the whole planning so easy for us.
We were looked after so well at our menu tasting, we really enjoyed the experience.

Incredible service from the very first moment we met Danielle.
Danielle was so easy to deal with, accomodating and very responsive. She and the team also provided some great advice along the way.

Our day was made special by the outstanding co ordinators at the Farnham. Nothing was too much on the day. They made sure everything went smoothly and always confirmed any possible changes with events throughout the day - speeches, first dance, photographs. I would highly recommend the Farnham Estate to anyone planning their wedding day. All our guests really enjoyed their food and agreed the service was great.

We got married in Farnham Estate in July. The staff exceeded all of out expectations. Their wedding co-ordinator, Danielle was so helpful at all stages of the planning and went above and beyond for us and our guests.

Farnham estate was always our top choice for wedding venue, and they did not disappoint. From first meeting to day of wedding we where looked after to high standards and everything went as it should of on the day.
We had an amazing day and loved every minute of it, received nothing but positive comments from our guest for the weeks after.

Farnham Estate were just amazing, everything from start to finish was excellent. All the staff were amazing and went above and beyond for us and our guest. We had many guest feedback to us just how nice and helpful all staff were over the whole weekend of our wedding. The food was amazing and everything was timed so well, meaning that we could start the night party on time. The wedding team were brilliant too, Shauna looked after us during the planning stages and helped us organize everything and then on the day and day after we had a great team of people that were so helpful and really made us feel special. We cannot thank all the staff at Farnham enough for making our day so special.

Farnham estate is the most fabulous wedding venue with the best team behind it all. From the moment we first inquired we knew that it was our wedding venue. All of the wedding team are so professional and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy with every detail. They were also so accommodating to our requests and we had the best day in September . The venue itself looked beautiful. The food and wine was Devine. Everyone is still complimenting the day. From the beginning Danielle was absolutely brilliant. She made the whole day go smoothly and put our minds at ease, nothing was a hassle and every little touch we wanted they were so helpful with - the day of the wedding went without a hitch and all of the restaurant staff were fantastic aswell (we got so many compliments on the food). Delighted with our choice of venue, our guests loved having the pool the next day to knock off the hangover and then the golf club was set up beautifully for the day 2 bbq.

Amazing day, great venue and location. The wedding reception area is separate from the main hotel- so there is ultimate privacy of wedding guests only. There is a bar in the reception area. Lovely and spacious we had enough room for a 4 piece Irish band whilst comfortable accommodating guests aswell. We loved the function room, it is not overwhelming- a lovely size, there is a bar present in the function room which was a massive plus for us. Overall great location, for guests to make a weekend of your day as the hotel has a lot to offer guests. Food was also amazing- everyone complimented this. Would definitely recommend this venue.

Farnham is the most stunning venue for a wedding. The wedding pavilion is separate to the main hotel which we loved as it had some privacy. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous with a mix of modern and vintage decor. I liked that they kept the estate house with its vintage feel but is surrounded by modern. The grounds for photos are outstanding our wedding photos are beautiful! The food was absolutely fantastic everyone was raving about it. The hotel rooms were huge, clean and relaxing, beds are extremely comfortable. The staff here are absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond for us we couldn?t have been happier with our wedding day here and would recommend it to absolutely anyone.

We got engaged in the Farnham Estate so always wanted to be married here! From the first day we viewed the hotel and met with Danielle we knew it would be perfect for our wedding. Nothing was too much to ask! Danielle and her team couldn't have done enough for us. Everything from planning, to communication, to service, menu and the beautiful hotel itself was absolutely amazing. We couldn't have asked for better! We would 100% recommend the Farnham Estate to anyone getting married and we cannot wait to return for a visit!

From the minute we walked into the Farnham Estate we were blown away with the service, venue and staff. We were delighted with the food, service and our guests had a great time. The venue is stunning and even now to visit after getting married at Farnham Estate is a special experience. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough about farnham estate, absolutly incredible venue, amazing and very professional staff, our wedding co ordininaters ciara and Danielle pulled out all the stops when it came to re arranging our wedding due to covid! The quality of the food was outstanding, there was no stone left unturned, we love Farnham, we visit every year but now we have a special reason to return every year! Everyone of our guests remarked on how beautiful the grounds were and how stunning the hotel and ballroom is, we would highly recommend Farnham Estate for your wedding

We had an absolutely amazing experience with the farnham estate from the minute we reached out to arrange a viewing. Ciara their coordinator is at the top of her game and her experience and personal touch shines through. On the day the manager was extremely helpful and so organised and efficient. There aren't enough words to describe how happy we were with our day all thanks to all the staff, the coordinator, receptionists, managers, waiters, chefs, cleaners and beyond are all an asset to the company.

We were the first wedding after the covid restrictions were lifted.. Before they were brought in again ???? the help the Farnham gave us was next to none in the most scary of times. They were excellent and if I could I would do it all over again. Thank you to Danielle Ciara and all the team

We had our wedding on the 17th of August 2019 in Farnham Estate and we definitely had the best day of our lives. We organised our big day from oversea and the staff at Farnham were amazing from day one. Danielle was our wedding coordinator, she was extremely helpful and very responsive to our emails and any questions we had. Colm was looking after us on the big day. He made sure everything went to plan and ensured the day we very smoothly. The food was exceptional throughout the day and our guest were very happy. The ballroom and reception area were beautifully decorated. We couldn't recommend Farnham Estate highly enough. It was amazing and we wouldn't have changed a thing.

What can we say from the first email to the wedding day Farnham estate was amazing! Planing our wedding from the UK everyone made us feel like we were there and they replied to us quickly. The venue is absolutely perfect and I wouldn't change a thing! Food on the day was 100%, sat down on time, enough space between each course so we and our guests had time to enjoy each course. I could go on and on I just can not thank Tracey Stephen and the team enough x
