Honestly the wedding of our dreams, we couldn’t have dreamt of it going any better than it did! From the planning to the day itself Margaret & Rachel were on hand to answer every question we had & promptly! Nothing was too much for them and they gave honest opinions on what they thought would/ wouldn’t work which was much appreciated!
The day itself flowed perfectly & Cainon was brilliant at keeping things on time and keeping us in the loop.
The food was gorgeous & the service ran so smooth, we were worried about our guests still being hungry & being sat for hours for the service (from previous experiences at other weddings) however everything ran perfectly and there was no long waits. Our guests commented on the food (especially the voulevent)
We can’t fault the Farnham, their staff & the amenities. The grounds are stunning, the spa - WOW! Our guests were so looked after & we were even told (by more than a few) that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. Farnham Estate was the perfect wedding venue in every way. The staff were so accommodating and helpful, in particular our wedding coordinator Margaret. Nothing was too difficult for her to organise for us, and provided lots of helpful advice. All of our guests commented on how lovely the staff were, and really enjoyed all the facilities in the hotel, including the spa. Several of our guests have already booked to visit there again. The food and drinks were amazing, and were highly commended by all our guests. They managed to make everything so seamless on the day. Rachel and Cainon also went the extra mile to ensure everything went smoothly on the day, and we couldn't be more grateful to them. It really is the dream venue.

We had our wedding at Farnham Estate on 16th March 2026 and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The setting itself is stunning — the hotel and grounds are beautifully maintained and made the whole day feel really special without needing to add much at all.

From start to finish, everything was organised so smoothly, which meant we could actually relax and enjoy the day. The food was a real highlight as well — excellent quality, well presented, and something our guests are still talking about.

Shauna and her team were brilliant throughout. Professional, approachable, and always one step ahead, they made sure everything ran exactly as it should. It took all the stress out of the day for us.

We had our Wedding reception at Farnham estate and had the best service! Margaret was fantastic, very responsive and was very experienced, able to give us lots of advice when it came to planning! On the day we were able to trust the team to have everything organised beyond what we could have expected, a special mention needed for Cainon who looked out for our every need and anticipated everything and was so communicative. The whole thing ran so smoothly and couldn't recommend their service enough!

Farnham Estate Cavan, their wedding team and all the staff deserve all the praise in the world. We are so happy we chose Farnham as our wedding venue and there isn't a single thing that we would change about our day.

From the moment we viewed the venue and met with Danielle we knew this was the place for us - Danielle is such a joy to work with and her quick replies to every query and expert advice throughout are invaluable. Every decision we made was made so much easier by Danielle every step of the way. The wedding meal tasting was such a gorgeous experience from start to finish - the food and wine was so delicious and the pre-meal meeting with Danielle put our minds at ease about the big day itself. We also met Rachel - the meeting and events co-ordinator at the tasting and she was so kind and helpful from our first encounter. She was wonderful on the day of the wedding too.

The wedding day itself could not have gone better - everything was perfect from start to finish. All our guests were so impressed by Farnham and their staff - they honestly couldn't have done more for everyone there. The food and service was exceptional.Some of our guests who attended with dietary requirements highly commended the attention to detail they got from the staff. Cainon was the supervisor on the night of the wedding - he did such a fantastic job and checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was going to plan.

The reception room itself is gorgeous and perfect for a wedding. The grounds in Farnham make for the most beautiful photos. It is a sanctuary from the real world. Everyone really enjoyed the spa the next day and the bridal suite and all the rooms were just perfect. The breakfast was divine too.

I don't think words can fully express how grateful we are that we had our wedding here in Farnham Estate. We look forward to returning again on our first wedding anniversary to reminisce on the beautiful day and night we had here. 5 stars and more from us - thank you for everything.

Our coordinator was fantastic. Every single detail was looked after, going above and beyond to ensure we were as stress free as possible. Everything that could have been done and looked after was and then some. I couldn't recommend Farnham Estate and Shauna more. The day could not have been better !

Farnham Estate gave us the most incredible day — everything was perfect from start to finish. The team were so warm, caring, and attentive to every detail, making us feel truly looked after. We’re so grateful to them for making our wedding day more special than we ever imagined.

We booked our wedding in July with Margaret - for that upcoming December. So a very short space for planning time. From that initial meeting Margaret met us on the phone, over email or face to face to kindness, patience and a calm helpful head always. She always told us that organising a wedding within six months was totally doable - and she was right.
We loved every second of our wedding - and it was made so special by the staff in Farnham- Margaret and Rachel are absolutely superb to deal with and two of the kindest ladies you’ll met ( and they’re also a great laugh). The banqueting staff the night of the wedding were 10/10 also - so so amazing.
We were treated like a queen and king for the days before, the day of and even after the wedding . Anything we needed, was tended to.
Our guests have told us they too had a ball - most also stayed in the venue and really loved the thermal suite facilities and woodland walks available for the free time in the days before and after the wedding. Many told us it was the best wedding they’d been at - and I truly thank Farnham staff for that !! Would absolutely recommend Farnham for your upcoming wedding!

As a couple we have always stayed at Farnham Estate for a retreat, getaway and a break.
2024 where it all began. Farnham Estate Wedding showcase. The Venue from the off felt like it was the right fit. The staff were extremely nice and kind. Farnham had plenty of rooms and houses. Most importantly we knew our guests could be catered for and looked after. The banquet room is absolutely stunning and it's away from the rest of the hotel.

December 2025 weeks leading up the wedding, they pulled out all the stops. The attention to detail was second to none all details were checked over with us to have everything the way we wanted it.
Fast forward to the Special Day. All expectations were met and exceeded.
From early morning to the late hours the next morning we were blown away by how much of a Special place Farnham Estate really is.
Everyone, young and old commented on how good the Farnham venue is.
The food was unbelievable.
To all the staff at Farnham Estate you were a pleasure to talk to and deal with.
We can't thank Farnham Estate enough and for all the memories we made there. We will cherish them forever.

Heartfelt Thank You to Farnham Estate Hotel and the Incredible Wedding Team. From the moment we chose The Farnham Estate Hotel as our wedding venue, we were truly blessed to be paired with Danielle and Margaret as our wedding coordinators. From start to finish, their advice, support, and wealth of knowledge were invaluable. Walking into the process, we really didn’t have a clue where to start, but they guided us every single step of the way — always one step ahead, reminding us of the things we’d never have thought of and gently steering us in the right direction.
With a small child and full-time jobs, life is hectic, and planning a wedding felt like a mountain we’d never climb. But Danielle and Margaret made it all not only manageable, but genuinely enjoyable. They were the ultimate support system. No question was ever too big or too small — they handled everything with patience, kindness, and professionalism. Their recommendations for the day itself were spot-on and made everything run so smoothly. There really was nothing they couldn’t do.
On the day of the wedding, their presence was exactly the right balance — involved where needed, but never intrusive. Leone was like a fifth bridesmaid. She made me feel so comfortable, like I could trust her with anything — and I truly could. Margaret had a way of making everyone — from the smallest children to our older relatives, even our photographer — feel seen, valued, and completely at ease.

There are no words that will describe how unbelievably amazing the Farnham is for your wedding. From the first viewing till the wedding day Danielle and her team were outstanding they couldn’t do enough for us. From start to finish on the day it was absolutely amazing. Everyone could not stop talking about the venue , the staff & the food it was all unreal.

From the moment we met Danielle at the Farnham we knew that was the venue for us! Danielle was amazing to deal with, nothing was an issue and was so accommodating to our requests! The day itself was amazing from start to finish, Rachel and Caolan looked after us and they were absolutely fantastic, running after us while getting our photos took to checking in and making sure everything was ok during the meals, they treated us like royalty and went above and beyond for us! I’m so grateful for the service we received and we are so glad we had our wedding at the Farnham! The grounds and house are the perfect back drop for photo opportunities which meant we could enjoy more time at our drinks reception. We got married on 10 Oct 2025 in the fabulous Farnham estate. From the time we arrived on the Thursday to when we checked out on the Sunday, the staff of Farnham were spectacular. The service, kindness and attentiveness of the staff was fantastic.

Our first viewing of the venue was December 2024, we met with Margaret who showed us around and gave us all the detail we needed to make our decision, from then Margaret was a pleasure to deal with. There was never a delay on any queries, we received a warm welcome on any visit between December and Oct. There was never a time when we questioned our decision of the venue.

Our wedding day was nothing short of amazing, we had a civil ceremony in the fantastic Redwood suite, followed by drinks, dinner and a lot of dancing, to say the hotel staff when above and beyond would be an understatement. It was perfect.

The evening staff, Cainon, Alex and everyone else on the wedding night and our day two were also a pleasure to deal with, again pulling out all the stops for us.

We couldn’t have wished for a better weekend, we loved every single second of it and would love to relive it all over again.

We truly had the best day. Everything was absolutely perfect! We were all so impressed with how beautifully everything was done. We had an outdoor ceremony which was just amazing. We had our wedding at Farnham Estate and I genuinely can’t recommend it highly enough. From the planning stages right through to the end of day two, the whole experience was smooth, enjoyable and honestly a bit surreal in how well everything came together.

A massive part of that was down to our wedding coordinator, Margaret McDonald. Margaret handled the organisation in the lead-up and was absolutely outstanding. She was calm, clear, organised and incredibly reassuring throughout the whole process. Any questions we had were answered quickly, nothing ever felt like a problem, and we always felt confident that everything was under control. The amount of work that goes on behind the scenes before the day is huge, and Margaret absolutely nailed it. We’re incredibly grateful for how she guided us through the planning without it ever feeling overwhelming.

On the actual wedding day itself, Rachel, Canon and Paddy were fantastic. They ran everything seamlessly and with total professionalism, while still being friendly, relaxed and approachable. We didn’t have to think about timings, logistics or what was happening next, it just all worked. If anything needed handled, it was done quietly and efficiently in the background. That level of on-the-day support makes a massive difference, especially when you’re trying to enjoy the moment rather than manage it.

The staff across the entire estate were exceptional. Every single person we encountered was friendly, well trained and genuinely happy to help. Nothing ever felt forced or scripted. Guests commented repeatedly on how attentive and accommodating everyone was, and you could tell that people genuinely cared about making the weekend special.

The rentable spaces are also a huge part of what makes Farnham Estate such a great choice. On top of our Saturday wedding, we had our night-before party in the Cellar Bar, which was perfect. Great atmosphere, great service, and a brilliant way to kick off the celebrations without it feeling formal. For day two, the golf club was ideal. It gave everyone something to look forward to after the wedding itself and extended the celebrations in a really easy, enjoyable way. Having those options on site made the whole thing feel joined up rather than rushed.

We’re really glad we chose to have the wedding in a large hotel like Farnham. Having the majority of guests stay in the lovely rooms or decked out lodge houses gave the weekend a festival-like atmosphere. The spa was also a huge hit with guests and as the groom I definitely enjoyed having a dip a few hours before getting married!

We’re eternally grateful to Farnham Estate and everyone who played a part in our wedding We couldn’t have asked for more!

We couldn't fault Farnham Estate. From the service, to the food, to the communication in the lead up, to the friendly staff, to how they catered for myself and my daughter's dietary needs, and how they helped in any way they could with our two daughters (3 months and 2 years old). I highly recommend this place! Our wedding guests said it was the best wedding they had been at. How amazing the food was etc. The outdoor wedding we were lucky to have was exceptional.

There were so many thoughtful little touches that meant a lot, personal notes waiting for us in both the bridal and groom’s rooms, a golf cart ride down to the lakefront, and even the warm welcome from Rachel at breakfast the following mornings. It didn’t just feel like a venue, it felt like we were truly being looked after every step of the way.

The food was fantastic and widely praised by our guests, particularly the breakfast, with many of our guests claiming it to be their favourite hotel breakfast. The accommodation and facilities were top class. The bridal suite was beautiful, and throughout the entire experience we genuinely felt like we were treated like royalty. The pool and spa area were also a huge hit with our guests, and it was the perfect way to relax and unwind after such a busy couple of days.

Farnham Estate and it's staff didn’t just host our wedding, they made our perfect day a reality and for this we couldn’t recommend it highly enough. We cannot wait to come back and visit which we are sure we will do many times over the coming years!

We absolutely loved the venue also, especially the beautiful drinks reception area and the new windows which fill the ballroom with so much light and allow for fabulous views out over the lawn. We loved the fact that there were so many options both inside and outside for photos also and just knew it was the perfect venue for us.

Throughout the planning process we worked closely with Danielle who was always on hand to answer any queries we had and sort them out quickly and smoothly. We also had some communication with Margaret who was brilliant also. We met Colm and Rachel a couple of days before the wedding and they couldn’t have done enough for us and put us at so much ease.

On the day itself we were so fortunate to have Colm, Danielle, Rachel and Cainon present who ensured the smooth running of the entire day. All of them and their teams worked tirelessly to ensure everything went 100% to plan and ensured it was stress free and perfect for us and our guests. The food was delicious and we were absolutely delighted with the service on the day. A massive thank you to all of them and their teams!

The fact that there was ample accommodation available between bedrooms and resort houses was also important to us as we knew we would have a lot of guests staying. The spa and forest walks were a huge hit the day after the wedding with many guests enjoying the facilities before our day two celebrations began. We had our day two celebrations on site also and opted for the barbecue menu. The space was set up perfectly for our guests to enjoy their food and there was an abundance of tasty food available for all.

Our guests had so many lovely compliments about the staff, the venue and the food which we were so delighted to hear. If you are at the wedding planning stage we cannot recommend Farnham Estate highly enough. If we could do it all again we would choose Farnham Estate in a heartbeat. Every member of staff we encountered could not do enough for us and our guests. Farnham Estate will forever hold a special place in our hearts. I find it hard to put into words how incredible our wedding day was, Farnham Estate has such a massive part to play in that. The venue and the grounds are absolutely breathtaking.

Danielle played such a massive part in our special day. From the first email we sent back in 2022 right up to walking out of the venue a married couple. Danielle helped us bring it all together. No question was ever to big, to silly or unanswerable. Her patience, kindness, professionalism and expertise will never go unappreciated by us. We met Rachel closer to our wedding day, what a duo herself and Danielle are! Rachel made our day run so smoothly. She is nothing short of incredible at what she does! Rachel, the waitressing staff and bar staff were amazing on the day. Everything ran so efficiently.

Patrick from the bar looked after us so well from breakfast, to lunch, to our evening drinks after day two, he constantly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and more.

We absolutely loved every single minute of our wedding day and our day 2. From the moment we spoke to Danielle at our initial consultation, we knew we wanted to get married there. Danielle was so so helpful, and answered all our questions very promptly. There was no stress when it came to our wedding as Danielle had everything taken care of. Every single member of staff that we dealt with throughout was so polite and helpful, if we could do it all again tomorrow we would. The night before the wedding worked out perfectly. Both wedding parties had their own accommodation spaces, giving us plenty of room to relax and prepare, but also allowing us to meet up with our guests for drinks in the evening. The accommodation itself was incredible – spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. On the morning of the wedding, there was more than enough room for everyone to get ready without feeling cramped. The hotel went above and beyond, sending champagne to us and thoughtful gifts to our parents, which was such a lovely touch.


A huge thank you to Margaret, our wonderful wedding coordinator. When you’re booking a wedding, you’re not just choosing a venue – you’re putting your trust in the person who will guide you through the process. Margaret was absolutely exceptional. She was always responsive, calm, and reassuring – even as my emails became a little more frantic closer to the date! Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she made sure everything was under control at all times. She also made me feel like I was the only bride she was looking after – even though Farnham is such a popular wedding venue, it never once felt that way.

We also want to thank Rachael, the ops Manager, along with Cainon and Colm, who were so professional and made us feel in the very best of hands. Their organisation, attention to detail, and calm approach helped everything run smoothly behind the scenes – we couldn’t have asked for a better team.

We had a menu tasting ahead of the big day and were able to give our feedback, which the team took on board perfectly. Our guests have not stopped talking about how amazing the food was. At a wedding, the two things people always remember are the food and the entertainment – and Farnham delivered on both in spades.

On the day itself, everything ran smoothly from start to finish. I had been very conscious of timings, especially with mealtime entertainment, a room turnaround, and a band setup in the evening – but the team got dinner served in record time, keeping everything on track. It was flawless.

Our guests absolutely loved the venue. Many stayed for two nights to enjoy the facilities, the beautiful walks, and the relaxing spa – making it not just a wedding, but a mini holiday for everyone.

We were married at Farnham Estate on 7th July 2025, and it is hard to put into words just how exceptional our experience was. From the moment we arrived to the very end of the night, the entire day ran perfectly and completely exceeded all of our expectations.

A huge part of this was down to our incredible wedding co-ordinator, Danielle. As we live abroad, clear and timely communication was so important to us, and Danielle was exceptional in this regard. Every email was answered promptly, thoroughly and with such reassurance, which made the entire planning process completely stress-free. On the day itself, Danielle was brilliantly supported by Rachel, who played a vital role in ensuring everything ran smoothly. Their teamwork, attention to detail and calm confidence meant we were able to relax completely and truly enjoy every moment of our day, knowing we were in the safest possible hands.

The level of organisation across the entire venue was outstanding. Everything flowed beautifully, which so many of our guests commented on, and the atmosphere throughout the day felt warm, welcoming and relaxed. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and widely praised by our guests, many of whom said it was some of the best wedding food they had ever had.

Farnham Estate itself is a truly stunning venue. The grounds, the hotel and the overall setting made the day feel even more special, and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful it was. In fact, several guests loved it so much that they decided to extend their stay and book additional nights, as they simply did not want to leave.

We always loved staying at Farnham but when we viewed it for our potential wedding venue, we fell in love with it. We had Margaret McDonald as our wedding co-ordinator and she was just amazing. She made planning a wedding stress free and enjoyable. Margaret and her team were so professional and had everything prefect for our wedding. The room was fab and the food was amazing. What stood most for us was how much the team took over in organising and co-ordinating everything when we arrived at Farnham the day before. It was a great stress relief (mainly for me rather than Eoin) when we were able to meet with Tracey the afternoon before, handover everything, and talk it all through one last time. Rachael the banquette co-ordinator was fantastic on the wedding day and at the BBQ, she regularly checked in with us to make sure everything was going well. The wedding day and BBQ all went very smoothly because of them. The team were also great at putting us at ease after there had been a few issues with the dinner the evening before the wedding, they did their best to help rectify them and ensure it didn’t happen again. The wedding team did a great job helping the vendors to the set up, the grounds looked beautiful and the dining room was stunning. The food both for the wedding meal and the BBQ was great! The BBQ definitely exceeded our expectations. My family were also really grateful for Rachael’s help in getting my elderly Nanny back to the car as easily as possible. The breakfast to each house the morning of the wedding was great! There was definitely too much food! The resort houses are perfectly suited to getting ready in with plenty of space, it was also really lovely having the outdoor space. I would highly recommend getting married at Farnham to anyone! I know Eoin and I are both looking forward to coming back and staying again.

From the first moment of looking at Farnham Estate as a venue for our big day we knew it was always going to be the place for us. The staff we're incredible, helping us with every single detail no matter how big or small, last minute changes we're never an issue, and there was always someone on hand whenever we needed them. Small details like the kitchen staff knowing we we're getting married that weekend meant a huge deal to us, we had never met them before but they knew, which is a real touch of class. We wanted a venue where all of our guests did not have to think about anything for 2 days. Once the car was parked, they had everything they needed on-site to keep them occupied and entertained before they left. Some booked spa treatments, others booked golf, others just spent time on a walk or relaxing in the hotel itself. The entire process throughout was seamless and Danielle and her team went over and above for us, which again we didn't expect, but was very much appreciated.

From the moment we stepped onto the grounds of Farnham Estate we knew it was the one. It had the perfect combination of natural beauty, charm, and elegance that matched exactly what we envisioned for our wedding day. The unique features – breathtaking garden, lake views and historic architecture instantly captured our hearts.

We were also impressed by how organized and accommodating the venue team was. They were genuinely invested in making our day special, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing we were in good hands.

What truly sealed the deal was the atmosphere — it just felt right. It was romantic, warm, and inviting, and we could instantly picture ourselves saying “I do” there, surrounded by our family and friends.

Choosing Farnham was one of the best decisions we made — it gave us a beautiful backdrop for unforgettable memories.

A special mention to Shauna who was with us from the very beginning, she always kept our minds at ease and nothing was ever too much hassle. From the moment we arrived we were blown away by how kind and helpful the staff were they couldn’t have done enough from us, even during our busy wedding ceremony. We were kept at ease by the wedding team the whole day and our wedding day schedule all went to plan, we were so grateful as were our suppliers and we got to enjoy every minute of our day right up to 2am lol. The wedding room was just stunning as is the whole venue our guests were blown away with the beautiful views and the overall atmosphere of the venue. We had our wedding reception in Farnham Estate in October. This was the first venue we viewed back in July 23 and we both fell in love with the hotel and surrounding grounds straight away and no where else compared to it after that.
Such a classy decor, friendly staff and just a relaxing and welcoming ambience in general.
Our point of contact throughout the whole planning stage was Danielle. She is a true professional, so experienced, a great sound board and offered us lots of advice.
Danielle was so helpful and so informative, answered all of our concerns, queries, questions with no hesitation, so we put our trust in her and she did not disappoint. The day and night itself was just the best. Everything was as we had planned, food, drinks, service, staff, five stars. All of our guests were so impressed with the venue and it's facilities. I would highly recommend this hotel as a wedding venue.

Incredible from start to finish, through the process of planning and the weekend of our wedding, everybody attending our wedding made a point of complementing the venue, service & quality of food! So excited to be back to celebrate our anniversary over the years! Thanks again to all the team!

All the bar staff were excellent at their job and so so lovely to deal with, especially want to thank Patrick, Killian, Canion, Gabija, Ed and Ronan in the bar both for wedding and the day after.
Even the breakfast staff Doville, Laura and Mary were so pleasant and accommodating putting us sitting together and ensuring we had a lovely breakfast experience over the few days, excellent at their jobs.

And finally GM Michael Weston who even with his demanding job took the time to come and personally congratulate us on our special day, and what a team of staff you have.
The food all weekend was out of this world so beautiful and guests are still talking about how tasty it was so thank you to the head chef all in the kitchen. We had our day 2 in the Clubhouse and it was also a dream. Food was amazing and we again were treated so well and everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
I wish we could do it all again it was everything we dreamt of and more and that really is down to the amazing staff at Farnham Estate. Cannot wait to come back for an overnight visit and would highly recommend Farnham Estate for your wedding venue.

We had the most amazing day from start to finish.
We are both so glad we picked Farnham estate as our wedding venue. We luckily got a beautiful day which made our day even better as the outdoor ceremony facilities are stunning.
Our wedding coordinator Margaret McDonald was a great help in the lead up to the wedding and made sure everything was perfect on the day. We couldn’t recommend her enough.
The food and service couldn’t be faulted on the day, all our guests were talking about how quickly the food was served and how nice it was. It tasted just like the food served at the wedding tasting.
Rachel went above and beyond to ensure everyone was happy with everything.
We wish we could do it all over again!

Myself and my wife got married in Farnham Estate in September 2024 and we were blown away with the service and professionalism that the team brought to the table. From day 1 upon viewing the venue, not only were we treated like a king and queen all our silly initial questions were answered with the upmost respect by the lovely Shauna. She was so flexible with our requests and offered amazing advice throughout that meeting that we had to book the wedding at the venue straight away! All through the run up to the wedding Shauna was super responsive to all our emails and mad questions but treated us like it was the only wedding they were having that year - we felt so special. The day before the wedding and the wedding day couldn't have gone better us and our guests were looked after so well. The lovely Rachel was to look after us and our guests on the wedding day and my did she do a fantastic job, she was so easy to work with, so responsive, proactive and got stuff done! Nothing was to big for Rachel! She checked in with us at regular intervals throughout the day and the announcement she made to our guests as we entered the ballroom would put a professional voice actor to shame! She was amazing - we want to thank her and Shauna for the support and care they provided throughout the process and was no small part as to why we choose Farnham as a venue for both our ceremony and our reception. We would like to thank Fabian and his team for looking after us so well through our meal service, speeches and throughout the night - everything was 5 star service and we still have guests saying this to us a months on! They treated everyone like they were the bride and groom and it definitely created a great atmosphere for us and our guests. The food was absolutely top-notch, from the quality and very generous quantity of food, no one went hungry nor did they have receive anything less than a 5 star rated meal and service, so thank you for the kitchen team for providing this lovely meal for us all. This venue is nothing short of 5 star in everything that they do - its a hidden gem with beautiful surroundings, extremely caring and professional staff throughout the resort - never to busy to offer and smile and a hello as they pass you by during your stay. If you're planning a wedding - there is no other place we would recommend - you wont regret it! We booked Farnham Estate for our wedding a little over 2 years in advance after reviewing some of the other hotels local to us. From start to finish the wedding team; Danielle, Shauna and Margaret were all brilliant. They offered help and advice any time we needed it (including supplier recommendations) and nothing was ever a problem for them.
Our wedding day really was the best day of our lives. Farnham Estate was the perfect venue for us. There are plenty of beautiful photo opportunities, the food was fantastic and the staff on the day as well as the following day were all so friendly and helpful. We have had so many comments both on the day and since from guests saying it was the best wedding they have been to. We are so thankful to the Farnham Estate for everything.

I loved everything about my wedding day! Even the bad weather!

We recently had our wedding day at the Farnham Estate Cavan. It was beyond our wildest dreams. Danielle was our wedding coordinator from the day we booked. She is exceptional at her job, her attention to detail is second to none. Our wedding day surpassed every expectation. The food, the service, the decor every little item that we had mentioned was there in its exact place. Our guests are still raving about the food and venue. We particularly loved being able to have our photos taken on the grounds of the Farnham as it is such a stunning setting. Danielle had the amazing idea of our first dance being outside in the pergola. It was like something from the movies it will forever be an extremely special part of our day. If you are considering having your Wedding in the Farnham Estate, or even going for a night away. Do it, it’s the most amazing experience from start to finish.

From the beginning Danielle was absolutely brilliant. She made the whole day go smoothly and put our minds at ease, nothing was a hassle and every little touch we wanted they were so helpful with - the day of the wedding went without a hitch and all of the restaurant staff were fantastic aswell (we got so many compliments on the food). Delighted with our choice of venue, our guests loved having the pool the next day to knock off the hangover and then the golf club was set up beautifully for the day 2 bbq.
Exactly what we needed for a stress free wedding!

Farnham is the most stunning venue for a wedding. The wedding pavilion is separate to the main hotel which we loved as it had some privacy. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous with a mix of modern and vintage decor. I liked that they kept the estate house with its vintage feel but is surrounded by modern. The grounds for photos are outstanding our wedding photos are beautiful! The food was absolutely fantastic everyone was raving about it. The hotel rooms were huge, clean and relaxing, beds are extremely comfortable. The staff here are absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond for us we couldn't have been happier with our wedding day here and would recommend it to absolutely anyone.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with the farnham estate from the minute we reached out to arrange a viewing. Ciara their coordinator is at the top of her game and her experience and personal touch shines through. On the day the manager was extremely helpful and so organised and efficient. There aren't enough words to describe how happy we were with our day all thanks to all the staff, the coordinator, receptionists, managers, waiters, chefs, cleaners and beyond are all an asset to the company.

We had our wedding on the 17th of August 2019 in Farnham Estate and we definitely had the best day of our lives. We organised our big day from oversea and the staff at Farnham were amazing from day one. Danielle was our wedding coordinator, she was extremely helpful and very responsive to our emails and any questions we had. Colm was looking after us on the big day. He made sure everything went to plan and ensured the day we very smoothly. The food was exceptional throughout the day and our guest were very happy. The ballroom and reception area were beautifully decorated. We couldn't recommend Farnham Estate highly enough. It was amazing and we wouldn't have changed a thing.

From start to finish,the wedding team and all the staff in farnham were brilliant. We had an amazing day and would highly recommend it as a wedding venue. The food was so good and we got great feedback from our guests.

We recently got married (may 10, '14) in the Farnham. I have many good stories to show how good there service is, but then I'd be here all day writing this review ;)

Anyone thinking of a wedding, just to summarise our 3 day stay:

Day 1. Golf. No pressure, good fun. Bit wet, but that's the man upstairs fault. Forgiving fairways and fast greens. Sun was out and the buggies got us around quick. Gavin and the lads there were really super.

Day 2: the wedding. The place halted for to receive us. Everything went perfectly. Cooking 170 fillet steaks isn't easy, but these lads made it look easy. Jonathan the MC, was a STAR. He made the evening run like a locamotive. Such a great night. Matthew, the bar Manager had to put up with us all till 5am! What a legend.

Day 3. BBQ in the lemon room. 50 hungry heads were fed back to life by Tomek and his team. Just super. Yummy post partying ribs, burgers, salads, etc. Just yum. Tomek, you were right about that Malbec you recommended.

Thanks in particular to Patsy, the lady at the helm. She sold us a wonderful day, we paid. THEY delivered.

Myself and Emma would just like to thank yourself and Clodagh for all you help and time. You were a pleasure to deal with from the start. On the day Jonathan and all the staff in the function area where brilliant and really looked after us and Lisa was great to deal with over the last few months. We received great feedback from our guests on the hotel, the grounds etc. and we can defiantly say we made the right choice in venue for our wedding. I'm sure we will be back many times!

We both couldn't recommend the hotel for not only a wedding but for any event and break away. Everyone commented on the grounds, reception area and rooms. A lot of guests got free late checkout, some as late as 3pm which was excellent. They were also delighted that they could still use the spa even after check out and some took advantage of this.
For us it was brilliant to know that guests had a great day and enjoyed the facilities as well. The bridal suite was beautiful, i was so disappointed we didn't stay on another night but we had already made plans for the day after with friends. I couldn't fault Jonathan and the waiting staff before and during the reception. He couldn't be more helpful even before the wedding.
On the day he had bits and pieces set up on the tables and in the reception as requested and last minute set up the wedding cupcakes for us. Food and service was excellent and both Jonathan and the waiting staff checked in regularly with us to ensure everything was good for us.
Even the next morning the reception staff and bar service staff were so polite and friendly. I would highly recommend Farnham for a wedding, any event or stay. Thanks to everyone again involved in our day

Myself and PJ just want to thank you, Jonathan, Dave and the Radisson Blu for an absolutely amazing wedding day. Massive compliments to you all and the hotel, everything was just perfect from the minute we booked the hotel until we walked out the doors Sunday the 8th Dec after the wedding. You made it very easy for us on the run up to the big day and nothing was a hassle.

Jonathan and David made it very easy for us on the day and Jonathan went out of his way to keep me calm and ensuring everything ran smoothly on the day. Just a quick mail to say how delighted we are with how everything went on our wedding day. All our guests absolutely loved the venue and many of them who previously hadn't known about the hotel, have already booked weekend breaks up there.
Particular thanks to you and all the staff who helped make the day run as smoothly as it did

We held our reception at the Farnham estate in Nov 2011 and would so highly recommend to anybody looking around the Cavan area for hosting their own wedding. We were so well looked after from the first day we visited the hotel for initial enquiry, follow up visits and of course on the day itself. The girls we dealt with before the big day were so nice, friendly, professional, organised and ensured that everything was in place for hand over to the master of ceremony on the day.The setting itself is just beautiful ?both the actual hotel itself (a mixture of new and old) and the grounds around it. Our guests were well impressed with everything. And the bridal suite (we went for the old style bridal suite room) was gorgeous ?nearly as big as our own apartment!We had Thomas as our master of ceremony on the day and he did an excellent job. We had times agreed for calling people in for dinner sit-down. However we ourselves got a bit delayed with photographs etc, but Thomas did not at all make us feel pressurised in any way, but still ensured that things ran closely to the agreed schedule. Fairy light backdrop now come with the reception room (optional) 'so along with that, the nice centre pieces and all the lovely tea-lights that hotel had scattered around, the whole place just look so well (we did not bother with chair covers) and gave a nice warm and cozy feel for a cold winters evening.The food itself was excellent. We went for the winter romance package 'soup, turkey and ham and bailey's cheese cake (hotel very accommodating also for non meat eaters/special dietary requirements) ?and everything was so tasty. So many of our guests were still raving about how good the food was the next day ?meat was just cooked to perfection. Service was excellent throughout meal and afterwards ?both for meals and drinks. And the staff of the hotel are all so friendly and obliging?from servers, to receptionists and chamber maids.The spa at the hotel looks amazing. We of course did not get a chance to use ?but hopefully we?ll get to use on a future return visit in the foreseeable future.
