For any couples out there looking for the perfect place to celebrate their wedding look no further than the Green Isle Hotel on the Naas road. Myself and my now wife had the most perfect day there and we will never forget it. The staff were amazing and our co-ordinator Suzanne was brilliant from start to finish, all we had to do is show up on the day, not even the rain could put a damper on our day. Had it not rained we would have taken full advantage of the picturesque Corkagh Park right across the road, so we settled for the beautiful conservatory, the food was lovely what more could you ask for. I would HIGHLY recommend the Green Isle Hotel to anyone contemplating any type of function.

We would like to thank all the staff of the Green Isle Hotel on the Naas Road for hosting our wedding on the 26th August 2013. It was a fantastic venue which exceeded our wildest expectations and made our day absolutely unforgettable. The staff were amazing, courteous, polite and very friendly and catered to our every need, they could not do enough for us. All of our guests raved about our civil ceremony, they all said it was the best one that they have been too. The civil ceremony room was decorated beautifully the only addition we made was the centre-piece for the ceremony table, likewise the reception was decorated to perfection with silver candleabras, silver cutlery it looked fantastic. The meal was outstanding, the portions were plentiful, from the starter to the desset and everyone complementing the chef especially the soup which we got to taste on our menu sampling which was three weeks before the wedding. The newly decorated bridal suite was amazing and the view was breath-taking when you looked out of the wall of glass leading out on to the balcony. Suzanne our wedding co-ordinator was fantastic helping with every detail no matter how big or small. We have been back to the hotel a few times since our wedding and we are remembered by all the staff. It is a very relaxing atmosphere and you are always made feel welcome whether its just for a night out or staying over. You will not be disappointed, out of all the hotels that we looked at for our wedding the Green Isle was the best and they cater to any budget. We got outstanding value on our day and will definitely be back to stay again. Would highly recommend the Green Isle hotel for your big day.

Many thanks for everything last Friday. We both had an amazing time. All your staff were great. Compliments to the chef on
a wonderful meal. The waiting staff were fantastic and very friendly as were the staff in the bar later on. Thanks a mill for setting the ceremony room, it made it so romantic and that was our wish for the day. I don't think there was a dry eye in the house. The room for the dinner and dancing was fantastic and everyone was impressed with the setting. Honeymoon Suite was lovely with fantastic views. Thanks again for all your help and support from the beginning.

When I was looking to book my wedding I looked at a few hotels but as soon as I went to the Green Isle I just loved the interior of the hotel, it was so stylish and currently decorated and the staff were lovely. I met with Suzanne and she was lovely, she showed us around and gave us prices and couldn't really help us enough........The day of my wedding I couldn't have been much happier, the room was decorated just great and everybody was delighted with it. I also thought it was georgous that Suzanne had put lovely lanterns with candles in the hallway it made the entrance really romantic. Also our backdrop and the skirt for the wedding table I had inquired about prices and they were about ?400, Suzanne organised this and my two throne chairs as extras with my wedding package. I was delighted I decided to spend my special day with all the generous and kind staff in the Green Isle and I would do it all again tomorrow.

What does a bride & groom look for when picking out a wedding venue, well in this day of recession lol its value for money first and location second....I know a lot of people will think of the motorway behind the hotel and it was something that I had considered but please take my word for it, you can't even hear the road when in the hotel or even when you are in the drive way but don't take my word for it please go and see the hotel.
We decided to book our wedding for 27th December 2012, we done the usual trawl through all the hotel's listed as wedding venues and visited alot of them. We went from Dublin to Carlow to god only knows where and well nothing seem to fit, sure they were in great locations, prices were good but they didn't seem all that exciting or have the warming welcoming feeling to them and that was very important to us as we were having a Christmas wedding. We were looking for a venue we could walk into and feel welcome and most importantly like a bride and groom, at others venues we were pawned off with the receptionist showing us around and just given price lists.
We were at our wits ends trying to find a hotel within our budget driving around in circles when my mother suggested we try the Green Isle Hotel as she was at a wedding there before and found it very good and food lovely as well, and so on her advice we rang the hotel and made an appoinment with Suzanne McCabe, their wedding co-ordinator. From the minute we walked into the hotel and met with Suzanne we knew we had found "our special hotel", we felt like a 'bride and groom' straight away. The friendliness of the staff is second to none and the hotel itself is spotless inside and out.
The menus that were shown were very reasonable and very good, we were allowed to change one or two things on it (we changed the dessert) they were evenso good as to supply a separate dessert for the parents of the bridal party without charge and it was simply no hassle for them. The food was lovely and piping hot and everyone was asked if they wanted more food, evening food was plentiful and also piping hot.
In the year coming up to the wedding I have to say no matter what time I rang or emailed or no matter how many silly questions or changes I wanted I always got the same answer "that is no problem".
We wanted a winter / Christmas theme wedding and they went out of their way to make it sooooooo special I can honestly say I cried when I walked into the room and saw the way they had done it...tears of happiness is all the bride wants on her wedding day....They had the room turned around in less than 20 minutes in the evening for us and the guests were escorted back with ease into the function room (something that I was very anxious about).
All I can say is that if I could do it all again I wouldn't hesitate to have our wedding in the Green Isle Hotel with the wonderful staff and a brilliant wedding team, especially Suzanne who truly is an asset to their wedding team and to any bride, she even went as far as to text me the night before our wedding to wish us good luck even though she was off work and the hotel was closed as it was St Stephens Night...
They made our dreams and wishes come through.
