The Greville Arms Hotel

Everything went like clockwork.
We were very pleased that there was so little fuss. In advance, we knew that all the all the elements were already in place (flowers, cars, cake, DJ). Louise and the rest of the staff gave a great sense of calmness and that all was ready to go - so there was nothing to worry about in that regard.
She was also able to manage the little requests for anything specific, and so we really had very little work to do in the preparation, other than make a few decisions on menus, etc.

On the day, everything went off without the slightest of problems.
We had the ceremony in the hotel, and the the room was perfectly decorated and really created the atmosphere we wanted. The hotel managed the music for the ceremony, and Louise was overseeing everything, and her and the other staff planned and executed it with utter precision.
The food at the reception was superb and the wine was also very tasty.
The bar staff and the late night staff also looked after us very well.

Suffice to say, we would not hesitate in recommending the hotel for the food, the event management, the easy going yet uber-professional approach from the people who put it all together. The hotel also has an old-school, middle of town, and historic character to it. It has it quirkes, but this is what makes it better than most.

I have to say from first contact we couldn't have asked for anything more the professionalism and knowledge was second to none. Dietary needs were well looked after no problem, great choice of menu and excellent value for money. Staff are so friendly and helpful really made us feel so special. We could not recommend them highly enough.

The day off our wedding was very enjoyable from start to finish. The greville arms really made it a special day with lively greeting on arrival to reception time. Food was plentiful and excellent. Some off our guests were fussy eaters and got their dinner delivered on silver service platters for the craic😊 The staff were excellent especially the two ladies that have graced the greville arms for many years.....Eileen and Kathleen. Id definitely recommend the greville for a wedding, its very homely and worth the money.
