Lough Rea Hotel and Spa

We had the most magical weekend on Friday and Saturday which was down to Nicole and the wonderful staff at the hotel, Nicole the wedding manager ensured everything was seemless from our ceremony and the reception to our meal and day 2 the team ensured that we had absolutely nothing to worry about which was a big part of the reason we were both so relaxed. The Wedding staff were second to none ensuring we had everything we needed from start to finish. Although we had rain on day 2 the rooftop bar was top class, the team ensured we had enough space for everyone by opening up a second room for people to sit and enjoy themselves, our guests were so impressed with the set up and service provided by Darragh, Sarah and the team that the rain didn't bother any of our guests. Damien the general manager was always on hand ensuring we were having a good time throughout the two days and ensuring our glasses were never dry. Overall our experience in the loughrea Hotel and Spa was fantastic, we could not recommend them highly enough and we cannot wait to head back there for another stay soon. Our wedding at Lough Rea Hotel and Spa was everything we envisioned and more! Nicole guided us every step of the way, and no request was too much! Our guests raved about the professional and efficient service of the staff and the food was to die for. The transitions between ceremony, reception and dinner went without a hitch and we had such a lovely stress free day. We especially couldn't have done it without the incredible Nicole. She was an absolute blessing, and made the planning and lead up so so easy. We will be singing her praises to everyone we know - she is an absolute gem and the biggest asset to the hotel! Thank you SO much for making our day absolutely perfect and everything we dreamed of :)

Nicole the wedding co-ordinator made everything so simple and easy. Nothing was a problem. She replied to every query instantly and went above and beyond with the little details and decor for us. All the guests raved about the room, the service and the food. There was more food than any crowd could possibly eat and it was all delicious. Staff were incredibly helpful and were very on the ball all weekend. Day 2 on the rooftop bar was ran very well and the barbecue food went down a treat. Couldn't fault a single thing and would chose the venue again in a heartbeat if we were back at the planning stage.

We would very highly recommend choosing Loughrea Hotel and Spa to any couple looking for the most perfect wedding venue. Not only is it a beautiful hotel but our wedding coordinator and all the staff that we dealt with on the lead up to the wedding and throughout the whole process were simply incredible!!! We honestly could not have asked for a more professional, kind and beautiful bunch of people to help us to plan the most special day. Nicole our wedding coordinator was just amazing when it came to absolutely everything and any couple who find themselves working alongside her to plan their big day are very lucky! She honestly made the whole process so enjoyable and relaxing and we can't put into words how helpful she always was! Thank you so much!

We cannot fault the Lough Rea Hotel. From the minute we viewed the venue right up to the big day, they were great! I had a few questions along the way and they were answered quickly. Nicole & her team were absolutely fantastic on the day. We had a few changes to make right up until the dinner bell and Nicole was able to help and nothing phased her. On the day, we couldnt fault the service. All of our guests were well looked after while we were off taking pictures. The food was amazing and the portions sizes were great! We had day 2 here on the rooftop with a BBQ which also was amazing. All our guests were raving about the food for the reception as well as the food for the BBQ.

Could not fault the hotel on anything. Unbelievable service, food, value for money. Every guest loved every minute of it. Loughrea hotel were very accomodating and were so helpful. Best hotel and very professional. The connaught suite (bridal suite) is exceptional too.

Absolutely everything was above and beyond what we expected. The food and service was sensational. The staff were unbelievably good and helpful. Nicole was always there when I needed her. She went out her way to help us with every single thing we wanted and needed. I couldn't fault a thing. The Lough Rea Hotel and Spa was without question the ideal venue for our wedding. The staff were amazing. The food was sensational. The service was brilliant. Nicole our wedding co ordinator was absolutely amazing. She pulled out all the stops to help give us our dream day. It is a Hotel I would recommend to everyone when they're booking their wedding.

Everything from the moment we booked Loughrea was smooth sailing. We had to change our date a couple of times due to living overseas and covid and nothing was an issue with Nicole. Every question we asked was answered and nothing was too much. Nicole was so helpful with everything and knew exactly what she was talking about. Any email I sent was promptly responded too by Nicole, and any advise she had was given. I want to give Damien a special mention also, when we went to him for our day 2 party to change things on the day he sorted it straight away. The hotel, the staff especially Nicole and Damien were amazing and we would 100% recommend Loughrea hotel & spa as a wedding venue to our friends and family. The only thing we are sad about is that our day is over, we would love to do it all over again.

We cannot recommend the Loughrea Hotel & Spa enough for weddings. From day one there could not be enough done for us. Nicole and her team are absolutely amazing and nothing was ever too much trouble. The little touches were so lovely such as the letter Nicole wrote us when she was not there for our menu tasting night. I had an email almost every day to send to Nicole and she always put my mind at ease about things I was stressing about - she is a dream to deal with. The day of the wedding from the get go everything just ran so smoothly - from getting ready in the hotel until the time we went to bed the staff were outstanding! The food was amazing and everybody at our wedding commented on that. Nothing dragged on and our band were ready to start just after 10pm which people said they could not get over. We stayed in the hotel the second night too and we had half of our day 2 on the rooftop where we had music, food and drinks. There was plenty of food to go round and was absolutely beautiful. There was a hurling match on which people wanted to watch and although it was only through streaming it we could watch it, this was no hassle to the hotel who got it up for us. It was a pleasure to deal with the Loughrea Hotel & Spa and if you are in any doubt of where to have your wedding, we would 100% recommend you to not skip going for a look at this hotel.

I can honestly say we had the best day ever and it is all down to the wonderful staff at the Lough Rea Hotel & Spa. We got married on New Years Eve 2022, we could not have asked for anything more, everything was just perfect. The attention to detail was second to none. Damien and Nicole were nothing short of spectacular always there to answer any questions we had or just there to offer advice in general. The hotel staff the day of the wedding were just amazing , all so friendly and attentive for the whole night. The food was absolutely top quality, so tasty and plenty of it. We honestly couldnt have picked a better spot to have our wedding, we would both recommend having a wedding there, top class all round. We definitely had the best day of lives and everyone of our guests is still talking about the great day we all had. From myself and my husband we would love to thank each and everyone at the Loughrea Hotel & Spa for making our day so perfect.

What an experience we have had with the loughrea hotel.. From back in 2019 when we originally booked for a 2020 wedding we were always met with such a professional attitude In regards to changing our dates. Fast forward 2 years we finally got to have our day. From start to finish we had no issues with Nicole , she was so understanding and nothing was ever an issue. The wedding day itself was so magical. The food, the atmosphere, the staff everything was perfect. We heard only compliments from our guests about the Loughrea hotel. We had our wedding Day here on December 29th 2022. We honestly cannot praise the hotel enough. The food, decor, bridal suite, service and staff were absolutely fantastic. Our wedding coordinator Nicole, was amazing to deal with from start to finish. So approachable and friendly. She was always so efficient getting back to any questions we had. Damien the General manager was a pleasure to deal with on the day and so helpful. The Staff are top class, and always so friendly, anytime we are in the hotel they always go above and beyond. You won't regret booking your wedding here, you'll be well looked after. We wish we could do it over again!! We had the best day of our lives!! Five stars!!

We had our wedding in the Loughrea Hotel in December 2022. Nicole, Damien and all the staff at the Loughrea Hotel were fantastic. From the first meeting they were a pleasure to work with it. Our wedding at the Loughrea Hotel exceeded all our expectations. There so many options available to couples to make the drinks receptions suit their wedding, from the Candy Cart to the Gin Bar. The ballroom was beautifully decorated and the food and service was perfect. Damien was available all throughout the meal ensuring everything went perfectly - He really put us at ease. We also received so many wonderful comments from our guests on the hotel, staff and service. We would highly recommend the Loughrea hotel to any future couples.

The Loughrea Hotel & Staff are an absolute pleasure to work with and a credit to the hotel they sorted everything to perfection. Damien, Nicole and the full wedding team are amazing and nothing was too much trouble, the whole wedding from start to finish including a roof top after-party, all the food from the wedding day to after party was unbelievable, the next night was just as brilliant, I can assure anybody thinking of booking there wedding with the loughrea Hotel that they are in very capable hands and everything will turn out amazing and much more . Mary in reservations is such a fabulous person to deal with and also her reception team are excellent and will sort all that side of the rooms etc to the highest standards. Martin is also another very kind gentleman who nothing is too much trouble for him and is on hand to sort everything that is required or needed. All our wedding guests were so happy with everything from start to finish of our very special wedding ceremony and our full weekend, we cudnt put into words how very grateful we and all our families are and you will have many of our guests definatly back to stay with you over the course of time, thanks again for everything to all of you from a very happy couple.

Hotel were top class in everyway. We were so lucky we chose to get married there. Nicole and all the wedding team were a different level.

We found The Loughrea Hotel to be a great venue for our wedding. All of our guests were very complementary of every aspect. The trad band upon arrival was a great hit. The hotel supply alot of their own wedding decor such as cherry blossoms, prosecco wall etc meaning as a couple we didn't need to work with multiple vendors. The staff of the hotel were most helpful both in the run up to, and on the day itself. Anything we requested we recieved or an alternative suggested/provided.

Excellent service, venue and staff! From the first meeting with Nicole everything was made so easy for us. Every staff member we met was friendly, easy to work with and provided top class service. On the day itself the room where we had our ceremony was beautifully decorated, everything ran really smoothly, the food was delicious and everyone from the top table to the people at the back of the room were treated brilliantly by the staff. We seriously question whether there are any better venues out there! The quality of service received, the friendliness and 'can do' attitude of the staff and the day itself were all top notch. Special mentions to both Nicole Riley our wedding planner, and the South African lady from reception who were both magnificent.

All the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help everyone. The food was fantastic and plenty of it. The function room looked fabulous and we could not find fault with anything. We were delighted with the service on our wedding day! Every guest commented on the fact that they got their meals all at the same time and piping hot! Dietary requirements were accommodated very professionally! The drinks reception went perfectly for our guests and I found Nicole was very professional and had all the little bits and pieces I wanted displayed as they should! From the minute we viewed the hotel, we knew it would be our wedding venue. We were so giddy leaving that day and then from the moment we worked with Nicole we knew we had made the right decision for us. Nicole helped us plan our day to absolute perfection. Damien and Hannah were also on hand to answer any questions or queries we had and they were wonderful to work with. We opted to have our ceremony in the hotel also and it was the best decision we made. The ceremony was held in the ballroom and all of our guests loved that everything was on site. We stayed in the hotel the night before with our bridal party and the buildup to the morning was just so exciting, thanks to the wonderful staff. Our day from start to finish was incredible. All of the staff were so helpful, friendly and accommodating and ensured that our whole day flowed smoothly and effortlessly. Nicole was a dream to work with, she really helped us visualise our day and her bright and bubbly personality was a joy to behold. We could not be any happier with The Lough Rea Hotel's wedding reception experience. Nicole the wedding coordinator is an absolute delight to work with. The hotel provided so much in terms of decor which really added to the ambiance in the ballroom. The staff on the day were completely on the ball, particularly Damien the general manager who was making sure we had everything we needed. The food was excellent and we heard nothing but positive feedback from our guests. The hotel was the perfect venue for us and the day was everything and more we could of wanted.

Nicole and the whole team at Loughrea hotel were brilliant from start to finish. We had the best day of our lives and all of our guests were raving about the place. One of our friends practically had the hotel booked for his own wedding on the night and he isn't even engaged!! Such a beautiful modern hotel that I absolutely can not fault. The food was fantastic and there was plenty of it. There was no issue with any requests we had and the hotel did everything they could to help us. Their own decor was stunning. The bridal suite is amazing, you could play a game of tennis in the room it's that big and has a fabulous balcony that looks out over the lake. We got married at the height of the omicron wave of the pandemic and had several drop outs leading up to the wedding, including the day of, but the hotel were brilliant and made the whole day so stress free! All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating to us and all of our guests. Look no further, Loughrea is a 10/10 wedding venue!

We had such a fantastic wedding day at the Lough Rea Hotel! The management and all staff are so professional and attentive, and keep you at ease with everything! Our wedding was top class from initially deciding on the hotel up until we checked out the day after. Despite all the planning happening during lockdown and changes with wedding coordinators there was never any confusion or hassle. The food was spectacular from the scones, canapés through to the delicious main course and finishing with the night buffet. All our guests raved about the food. And are still talking about the wedding. We had our wedding there in October. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The function room was very impressive and the food and service by staff was excellent on the night. The bridal suite has great views of the lake and is very spacious. Anything we had requested in the build up to the wedding or on the nite was accommodated for and a special thanks to Nicole, Damien and Martin for all there help and professionalism shown throughout the wedding, A great team and we would highly recommend the Lough Rea Hotel & Spa for any occasion. "After having to reschedule our wedding date for the 3rd time due to covid it was absolutely worth the wait. Loughrea hotel and spa couldn’t have been more accommodating. The ceremony and function room was beautiful , our guests commented on the exceptional food from start to finish. Thank you for an amazing day , wish we could do it all again.

Very accommodating in organizing certain elements of the wedding and made the whole process very easy with very little stress involved. We felt that anything we asked of the hotel, they were more than happy to accommodate us. The package was also very good value compared to other hotels.

Sally was was promoted, but she still kept in contact and handed over to Jacinta. We then dealt with Jacinta/Natalie for the rest of the wedding planning and they were amazing. We are not sure where to start with this review as we are left absolutley speechless from the moment we decided to have our wedding at Loughrea Hotel & spa on September 10th 2021. Every single thing about our wedding reception was just outstanding. Our lovely guests, our friends, family and my husband and I have not one bad word to say. A big shout out to the staff at Loughrea Hotel & spa for there wonderful hospitality I dont think we could have gotten better, they done everything they could for us and more !! The food was just perfect and our bridal suite was like an apartment ! Also our breakfast that was brought to us the next morning was amazing !! We felt very welcomed by your fabulous staff from start to finish so a big shout out to anyone who was working on sep 10th and all behind the scenes because they really do deserve it. We recently had our wedding and a bbq on the rooftop for day 2 at the Loughrea Hotel & Spa. We cannot thank them enough for the most amazing weekend. From the moment we arrived there was zero stress and both us and the guests were so relaxed. The staff couldn't do enough for us and anything at all we asked for they accommodated. On 25 March we tied the knot and chose to celebrate our day with reception, dinner and a weekend stay at Loughrea Hotel & Spa. Jacinta, the hotel wedding coordinator, gave an excellent impression to us from the outset. We felt that she was on our side. This attitude was reflected by the whole team. Thanks to Michael for the warm welcome and taking care of us on the night. Thank you to Guru and all the wait staff. A big thank you to the chef. My 9 year old son said it best when he repeatedly asked how the Chicken Vol au Vont could be so delicious. In fact every dish exceeded our expectations. The day after Jennifer went our of her way to locate a little lego Jawa who had gone missing, and Mary made our afternoon just perfect. On our final day Martin made us feel welcome at breakfast. Thank you team!

It was a real rollercoaster for us trying to plan a wedding in the middle of a pandemic. But Jacinta was always easily accessible via e-mail or phone. The team were extremely flexible and so helpful in navigating what the various restrictions meant for us and our day. Our little big day was perfect and the venue looked beautiful. There was ample food and drinks for everyone and we got lots of great feedback on this from our guests. The meal and service throughout the meal was excellent. Louise supervised the meal delivery to the highest and most professional standard. She was everywhere on the day and anything we needed was there before we even needed to think about it! Big thanks to all the staff they did a great job but special thanks to Steven & Pawel our lovely barmen for the nights. We would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone getting married in the future!

This has been a very difficult year for the staff but their efforts made our day so special. Yes, we wanted many more important people there but sadly that couldn't have been, however the hotel staff were excellent at making a small wedding feel so special. The setup of the venue and their attention to detail ensured we had a memorable day. The quality of the food was praised by all. The hotel facilities were excellent. We would highly recommend and thank them sincerely for all they did for us.

Loved everything, the staff were absolutely exceptional! Louise was fantastic to deal with, so easy going, so thorough with everything, so pleasant. She didn't forget a thing even though our plans changed so many times. Her attention to detail was brilliant. Jacinta was so lovely to deal with anytime we contacted the hotel, she was also exceptional especially when we had to postpone our wedding 2 days before it last March. She has been at the end of the phone with so much positivity and I know a smile when rearranging the wedding during. Louise and Jacinta make an excellent team along with the rest of the excellent staff there in Loughrea Hotel. Also we would like to mention Sally and Anita who were also excellent when we were dealing with the hotel initially. We appreciate everything you have all done for us on our wedding planning journey. The hotel was fabulous, the decor was gorgeous in the wedding reception and wedding room, a fairytale theme, it made the day extra special and we are so grateful for that. And the food was delicious, so tasty and so much of it all day long, and the service was excellent. The rooms were fabulous, our honeymoon suite was fab, and our guests were so happy and comfortable in their rooms. Our guests have not stopped complimenting the hotel since as well as us.

Nothing was a hassle, anything we needed was done and I felt the hotel bent over backwards to make the day as special as possible given the circumstances

What can we say nathalie and all the staff were amazing, such a relaxed and beautiful atmosphere was created For us which is so important as we and our guests were so relaxed and just partied the night away. The food was beautiful and endless and the reception was beautiful with an abundance of food and drinks. We had so many compliments on how beautiful the room and venue were, how relaxed and nice the hotel staff were and the quality for money and size of the rooms. Nathalie and her team were amazing so approachable and easy to deal with. Our wedding planning went off without a hitch from start to finish. Sally and Natalie were always easily accessible via e-mail or phone. They were extremely flexible with our wedding package. On our wedding day upon arrival we were delighted to see all of our guests enjoying the drinks reception. There was ample food and drinks for everyone. The hotel looked very well also. Many of our guests also mentioned this to us. The meal and service throughout the meal was excellent. The duty manager (apologies his name escapes us) supervised the meal delivery to the highest and most professional standard. The waiting staff were also extremely professional. We would like to thank them for this. Many of our guests complimented the quality of the food and the efficiency of the service from the kitchen. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Loughrea hotel and spa to our friends and family in the future. We look forward to staying in the hotel again.

I couldn't recommend the Lough Rea Hotel and Spa more! The venue is in a beautiful location overlooking the lake in Loughrea. The ballroom is fabulous with beautiful chandeliers. There is a separate piano lounge which is perfect for the drinks reception. Our wedding coordinator Natalie could not have been more helpful and easy to deal with. She answered all of our questions and never made us feel foolish for asking! She really went above and beyond to make our day special for us. She also helped with my train when getting up to the top table which I didn't realise until I saw the video... thank you Natalie!! All of the staff in the hotel were very helpful, friendly and easy to deal with, in particular Mary in Reservations. The food was amazing and was commented on by all of the guests. No one left hungry! Any couples who are looking for venues should definitely check out the Lough Rea Hotel and Spa.

The team at the Loughrea hotel were a pleasure to deal with. The food was excellent! The hospitality staff were very responsive to our guests. The team helped us with every aspect of the day from the ceremony, to the reception & also the next day celebrations.

We can't recommend Lough Rea Hotel and Spa enough. All the staff were incredibly helpful and polite, the food was delicious and the honeymoon sweet is amazing with an incredible view of the lake! The hotel was the perfect base for our guests who flew in from around the world to stay and they all had the best time. The hotel is really clean and the bar stays open ridiculously late which meant a lot of sore heads the next day! Sally and Natalie, the wedding planners are brilliant. They helped us tailor our special day with just a few face to face meetings and the rest via emails as we live in London. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Everything was just perfect and great value for money for what you get. We will remember our wedding forever. I'd really recommend having your wedding at Lough Rea Hotel and Spa.

Nothing was too much for them, very helpful and responded super quickly to every email. Food was beautiful and they have added extras that you’d have to hire outside companies for too (sweet cart and post box for cards) so it is really good value for money.

The Lough Rea hotel & Spa is an absolutely fabulous hotel. Our wedding was everything we wanted and more. It’s been three weeks since our special day and all our guests are still talking about the delicious food and fantastic staff. We had our wedding reception in the Lough Rea Hotel & Spa on Saturday, July 13th this year. From beginning to end, everything was perfect. The staff were excellent, particularly Sally, the wedding coordinator. She was so helpful and approachable, nothing was ever a problem. Lots of our guests commented on the beautiful meal. Sally was always a professional and quick to reply to all our queries. We had such a good weekend. Delighted we had our second night in the rooftop bar. It all ran so smoothly and without any hassle. Wish we could do it all again.

The loughrea hotel were a pleasure to deal with on the year lead up to the wedding and on the day. We dealt with sally the wedding coordinator and she is excellent at her job, nothing was ever an issue and would make you feel at ease knowing everything would run smoothly on the day. The staff in general on the hotel were very polite. The food was brilliant and came out piping hot. We would definitely recommended the hotel to other upcoming wedding couples.

Absolutely amazing! Couldn’t fault anything, the service was very good and the meal was beautiful, all our guests were very impressed! Nothing was ever too much to ask and my flower girl sat at top table and she was well looked after by all staff! The best part was that even when the night was over and we were in the residents bar the bartender made me a ham and cheese sandwich when I asked for one! I was fully expecting him to say no at 5 in the morning but he did without any objections! Absolutely amazing hotel, could not recommend it enough as you will be treated like royalty!

What can we say about the Loughrea hotel and spa? Over the last 18 months, we have had an amazing experience. The management and staff have been nothing short of amazing. We were treated so well and the lead up to our wedding we had over 140 guests arrive from Tipperary UK and Dublin. The food was fantastic and asking all our guests how was everything they had nothing but good things to say about the hotel staff rooms and food. Karen was the first wedding coordinator we met and then we met Sally who was there for us at everything we needed, so helpful and kind and anything we asked was done. Thank you Sally so much. You are so fabulous at what you do. All the staff from front of house, bar, waiting restaurant floor, all staff were so lovely and helpful. Our wedding day we could not have asked for more and everyone was treated like kings and queens. Food was amazing and we asked each table how was food and they had all enjoyed it so much. Thanks to the chefs and kitchen staff. Everything went off more than we expected and more again. They worked with our suppliers so well and nothing was too much trouble. Sometimes things happen and go wrong and if anything went wrong it was fixed in an instant. A fantastic hotel with fantastic staff Food rooms and amazing rooftop. From the very first visit to the hotel, we were sure it was right for us! The meeting with the original wedding coordinator was so relaxing and stress free! We gave her an idea of our budget and some dates and she worked through everything with us! Then we had a transition to a new coordinator, which worried me at first but was seamless! Sally was brilliant from start to finish! And put up with all of my million questions with such patience!! The food was so highly complimented by all the guests! The staff were incredibly flexible as we had a few unusual requests in terms of evening entertainment and nothing was a problem! My Hisband and I were so happy with the way the Loughrea Hotel and Spa took care of everyone and every detail before during and even after our special day! Martin and Sally were so kind and specific about their jobs that they felt like friends and family to us. Even two days after when we departing from the hotel Sally was out in the parking lot making sure we were happy had all our belongings. I have absolutely no regrets about choosing this venue and if I could do it all over again they would still be my number one choice!

The Loughrea Hotel is a fantastic venue for a wedding! Karen, the wedding coordinator, was excellent to work with. She was flexible to meet our needs, very responsive and friendly to work with. The venue is lovely, your own private piano room/lounge for the drinks reception, the wedding suite is beautiful! The food was great, as all our guests commented. The onsite spa is handy for getting tan and nails done in advance, along with hair and makeup on the day. We had a number of lunchs at the hotel over the Christmas period and all the staff were friendly and efficient. Please look no further and book your wedding at the loughrea hotel- you won't regret it!

Our wedding service and reception took place in the Loughrea Hotel and Spa. The entire day was perfect. The rooftop bar is an ideal location for a intimate gathering, staff were so attentive all day and they were just as lovely when we went back for our 1st Anniversary this year!

After the first dance i was having trouble tying the train of my dress, Thankfully the lovely Catherine in reception saved the day and managed to get it sorted. The food was out of this world and 4 weeks later our guests are still talking about it. We invited our guests to staye for a second night and we enjoyed a barbecue on the rooftop bar to continue on our celebrations. Again the food was just amazing and more than enough to go around. We live overseas so had to organise our wedding from abroad and so happy we chose Loughrea Hotel. Karen was great to work with, she was so organised and always responded quickly to any questions we had and nothing was an issue. On the day everything was amazing and it was so well organised that we didnt have to think or worry about anything as the hotel were so onto it. The rooftop bar was amazing too and we had a party there the day after our wedding. I would highly recommend Loughrea hotel and highly rate Karen as a wedding coordinator.

We held our wedding reception in The Lough Rea Hotel & Spa in Loughrea on the 30th of October this year.  From our first meeting, the General Manager John Coen, gave us a very warm welcome and was completely professional.  All our requests were catered for no matter how unusual.  The standard of food and service on the day of our wedding was exceptional. There is an excellent team of staff throughout the hotel, each of whom are friendly, courteous and professional.  On the lead up to our big day we received great help, support and advice from John.  On the day of our wedding our guests were blown away by the fabulous hotel, the excellent service, the high quality of food which was served promptly by a great team in a beautifully decorated ballroom with a fantastic atmosphere.  Our meal was out of this world and served hot with generous portions.  It was enjoyed immensely by all our guests.  John had our day run to perfection.  He was in contact with all other suppliers we had booked for the day to ensure the smooth running of our wedding day for us. On the night after, we enjoyed a lovely time with our family and friends in the hotel's roof top bar where we had live music, drinks and finger food.  We had a brilliant night in this wonderful facility and again John was there to ensure our night was enjoyed by everyone.  I would highly recommend The Lough Rea Hotel & Spa to any couple considering it for their wedding reception.

We got married in the Loughrea Hotel and Spa in July 2015. From our first viewing of the hotel at a wedding show the November previous we were totally taken by the sheer awesomeness of the hotel. Karen and her team couldnt do enough for us and met all our needs. On the day the piano lounge was bright and spacious, all our guests(300+) enjoyed the drinks reception and piano player. The decor in the function room was spectacular and emphasised our colour theme. The staff were amazing. Food was top notch. Everyone of our guests was very impressed by the service. Also the hotel couldn't have been more helpful catering for our two children. We would and have recommended the Loughrea Hotel and Spa to other couples getting married.

We attended a family wedding in the Loughrea Hotel and Spa on July 16th 2015 and was blown away by the Service and friendliness of staff. We arrived after the service to check in and was greeted by a very friendly receptionist named Mary. Check in was fast and Mary was very efficient. We proceeded to our room. The view our room was breathtaking looking over Loughrea Lake. We then proceeded to the arrivals area where there was lovely piano music been played to entertain guests and were greeted by smiling waiting staff offering food and beverages for guests. The meal was amazing, the best Beef i had tasted! Sophie was our waitress and was very attentive checking on our table at each course and topping up our wine and water. We were so delighted with the venue that we now have booked our own wedding for 2017 at the Loughrea Hotel. Karen has been excellent to deal with and nothing was a trouble. We were able to amend a few minor details in our package and again it was all about what we wanted and making sure we were happy with everything! We are so excited to be planning our Wedding here and know we have picked the right venue!!

From the imprint we walked through the door of the hotel we knew this is where we were having our wedding. John, Karen and Mary made everything run so smooth from start to finish and were available to talk to and answer any question day or night. There were so Many things that they had taken care of that we did not even think about until the run up to the wedding. It's such a professional venue to have your wedding in and they are also so open to ideas when you want to put your own "slant" on your special day. Could not have asked for more.

The wedding co-ordinator was always very quick to respond to our queries. All the hotel staff were very helpful during the planning stages and also on the day itself. The food for our wedding was amazing and the hotel looked fantastic.

I would highly recommend the Lough Rea Hotel and Spa for your wedding. The food, staff and facilities were excellent. The attention to detail to all our requests was exceptional. All our guests loved the hotel, rooms were large and comfortable. There was also a spa so our guests could relax the next day and also spent time on the hotels roof top garden, where we had a bbq the next day. It was really relaxing and served lovely cocktails.

We had our wedding at the Loughrea Hotel and Spa in April. The staff were very professional and helpful. They made the whole day go very smoothly and took away all our worries by their hard work. I would definitely recommend them for anyone wanting a hassle free wedding.

Everything ran very smoothly. Nothing was a big deal. Staff were very organised. All guests were served food quickly. Each table had their own server. The hotel was Good Value for Money Our band was Sean Slattery and the connections and our photographer was Lisa Hynes Karen Brady and staff are so professional and organised. All our guests had high praise of food, venue and staff. We would highly recommend The Lough Rea Hotel and Spa as a wedding venue.

We held our wedding here in the Loughrea Hotel, it was the best decision we made. The staff were outstanding,efficient&very helpful.The Hotel service was excellent, & we had nothing to worry about. We were very happy with it all, and our guests gave us very satisifactory feedback. So i would highly recommend this hotel, cant fault it in anyway.

We had our wedding in the hotel in February 2015. Rose was a great help to us with the planning and the finer details of our day. The staff were excellent on the day. Ruth was on hand to deal with our every need on the day. The hotel is an excellent venue for your special day.

We are just back from honeymoon so it's finally back to reality! We were delighted with the hotel on our wedding day and would without doubt recommend it to our friends who will be getting married in the next couple of years. The food was excellent and everything was well organised and ran smoothly. So, we'd a fab day Sat, so true that it goes by in a flash! The staffs were all great, excellent service and seemed so effortless and relaxed! They'd really a great manner with people and helped with anything that was asked and we had lots of strange requests Staff were lovely with the kids even bringing up bits from play area for evening, and thank you for getting bits from shop too, that was over and beyond! We thought the room looked lovely and we really enjoyed our dinner, everyone said the meal was delicious! Thanks a million for everything, you were lovely to deal with. Thanks again

I just wanted to drop an email by way of thanks to you and Carl for the excellent service we received from you for our wedding. It is quite hard to organize a wedding from abroad but at no stage had we to worry about anything as you were always prompt to reply to our emails and queries. On the day everything rang smoothly and a huge thanks to Carl and also all of the staff on the day. Even for the time that we stayed in the hotel after the wedding the staffs were fantastic. Colm & I got married on March 30th and we held our reception in the Lough Rea Hotel. When we were looking for a venue to hold our wedding reception we looked into 5 hotels and this hotel by far ticked all our boxes. We were so impressed from the start by the welcome we got from the staff and they were so helpful. It was an easy decision in the end. Our first meeting with Helen was super and we were put at ease straight away, Helen made sure that everything we wanted was included in our package and at a great price too. Helen was able to guide us and we found her to be very good at what she does. She was always quick to respond to my emails and calls and no question or request was ever let unattended. We were so happy with the way our big day. The champagne greeting we got on arrival from the staff, the lovely comments from the staff, the drinks reception area everything was just so perfect. From the second we arrived we were treated like royalty. Our time plan from arrival to the time of dinner ran perfectly and this goes down to the brilliant staff and to Helen. The function room was decorated exactly the way I wanted it. It really is an amazing room when you see it all done up. There was loads of space of our 180 guests and plenty of room for them all to dance the night away... The food and drink at the reception was amazing. It was a big request of ours that the food taste amazing and hot, and after the meal tasting we requested the soup to have a little kick to it and chef did not let us down. The honeymoon suite is lovely , really relaxing and out of all the honeymoon suites we saw when looking into venues for our wedding this room was really the best , large spacious, well furnished, lovely view of the lake , we even booked into it for the night after the wedding. Helen and the staff at Lough Rea hotel are amazing I would highly recommend this hotel for a wedding or any other function.... We haven’t a bad word to say about it. If we got the chance to redo the day all over again there isn’t a thing we would change... EVERTHING WAS AMAZING.......

We had a really magical wedding day. The Loughrea Hotel and Spa is a fabulous venue for a wedding. We would really recommend it to any couple how are looking for a hotel with great food, helpful and cheery staff and a beautifully decorated dining room which can be easy to work with for any color theme. The staff insured they did what they could and more to make our big day, the day we wanted. Our guests really enjoyed their time there too and talked about the fresh and modern style to the hotel and bedrooms. If we were to get married again we would pick the Loughrea Hotel and Spa every time

First of all I want to say a big thank you for all your help for our wedding June 22nd. We really enjoyed our weekend there, and our wedding day which surprised me as I so was not looking forward to it. Everything went perfect, well in my eyes anyway.
